Shelley Pfeiffer: Since I live between Milwaukee and Chicago, I always prefer to fly out of Milwaukee. The airport is a big smaller a lot more friendly and much cleaner.The fact that it has an area after TSA to get your things together, so to speak known as the recombubulation area.This airport also has an awesome used bookstore known as Renaissance Books.
Scott W: It's a decent airport. Easy access to get in and out. The parking structure is in great shape and on the way out, the credit card readers all work. There are enought restaurants and shoppes along the several concourses. The bathrooms are clean. Getting through TSA can be hit/miss, but that's pretty much true anywhere you go now days.

zain syed: this past Sunday.Upon landing and troubleshooting the radios I decided to do a flight in the pattern. Suddenly, I feel the rudder pedals pulling to the left and behold I start freaking out my left main has gotten flat in a rental airplane. Luckily, the airport Manager Matt Byrne was in his hangar working on his planes. Out of pure love for aviation and helping out a young pilot who was legit freaking out, Matt helped me with replacing the Left Main tube with a spare he had in the hangar. I will forever be indebted to Matt and his A++++++++++++ hospitality I received at Capitol Airport and be sure to be back with a planned fly-out very soon.BE SURE TO VISIT CAPITOL AIRPORT NEXT TIME PASSING THROUGH MILWAUKEE AREA.

David Orrico: Learned to fly here back in the 90’s. Great strip to learn on. Especially short runways with, at the time, a big drop quickly over the highway.
Ruslan Angelov: Great little airport near Illinois border. Self serv pump and all working lights make this a gem. Easy access off the interstate. Kinda tricky with all of these people that try to see Chicago and Milwaukee while flying 100 miles towards the ground 😀
Mathieu Labs: Flew into Sylvania for the WI Passport Stamp on a Saturday and the chief CFI let us in the very clean, professional FBO. This FBO is a WOW experience and the best one I've been to out of 74 airports I flown to in the state of WI.

Megan George: Beautiful airport with awesome views of Lake Michigan, Chicago and Milwaukee. Very nicely maintained paved and grass runways, no rocks or ruts. Lighted wind sock, INOP Lights. Privately owned but open to public. Convenient 24hr self serve 100LL fuel. Skydiving center on airport with nice viewing area and food available. Great place to fly in for a day trip.

Decided to do it for my friend of 22 yrs, 40th bday with him n 2 other friends.... awesome experience with AMAZING views and the staff was also very AMAZING!! Thank you to everyone at Skydive Midwest for making my 1 n ONLY time jumping out of a plane, 1 of the best experiences in my 42 yrs of life!!! THANK YOU

Lynn Livingston: I loved this experience. Tyler, the pilot, was nice and did a great job flying and showing us the sights. His assistant was efficient and friendly. I was disappointed in the length of the tour. We chose a 15- minute flight and paid $100 for what turned out to be about 8 or 9 minutes. That felt like a ripoff. They shouldn't advertise a time if they aren't going to honor it.

It is also nice to see some competition to the overpriced Signature on the field. they only had one crew car which is a bit of a disappointment but there are many restaurants within safe walking distance.
