Shahrazad Persian / Middle Eastern Cuisine: what do users think?

J 9: This is the best lentil soup in Milwaukee by far! I love itRecommended dishes Lentil Soup …

James Uzziah Hammond: Food is traditional Persian cuisine. Nice little restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. You walk in, read the menu from overhead, and order at the register. They call you when your order is ready. You fill your drinks from the soda fountain. It's pretty typical of an American fast food restaurant, with the exception of food and perhaps price - lunch for 3 folks was around $51.00.

Anne Marie DeBoard: We really enjoyed our dinner here. I was visiting from out of town and we had one person in our party that is vegan and gluten free. This was an excellent option for him AND I didn't realize this, but he is actually Persian, so it turned out great. It's a counter service restaurant. I ordered the vegan plate and the beef Koubideh. The beef was excellent! The vegan plate had wonderful hummus, and a salad along with rice. The rice was a little bland but everything else was wonderful. I only wish they had some sumac seasoning.

Matt Protz: AMAZING restaurant! Great food, froendly staff and owners, and great prices! The Fatyer, Shish Tawook, Shish Kabob, Garlic sauce are all fantastic! The lemon mint smoothies are so refreshing. Excellent restaurant!Love this place!

Elena Hernandez: Great service and food is delicious, 100% recommended 👌.

Jasmine Mace: OMG best falafel in town ... By FAR. Everything was great, but the falafel is one of the best I've ever eaten anywhere.Dietary restrictions: Hard to eat low carb here, but that will be true with most middle Eastern restaurants.

Damascus Gate Restaurant: what do users think?

MistahZ: Went to the Damascus Gate and I was glad I did! The building itself, aside from some reconstruction going on outside at the moment, is pretty spacious, atmospheric and pretty on the inside! The service inside was nice and quick, friendly, and git me my food soon after taking my order! Side food was really good! Falafel, meat and rice dish, hummus, and on a lessee note lentil soup amd bread were all tasty and at a good affordable price! Aside from the soup and bread JUST NEEDING to be a pinch better and the area the restaurant was in being a little shady, I liked Damascus Gate and would suggest giving it a try once if you're in the area!Video and Pictures are of the inside of the building, menu, and food I got!Vegetarian options: Plenty of non meat poultry or chicken options on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Most menu items are clearly there to read and what details aren't, you can ask about!Parking: No GOOD lots and seems more street based!Kid-friendliness: It seems like a kid friendly place but aside from the French Fries? I dunno if kids would like the food!Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't seem like a difficult place for wheelchair bound folks to get into!

Aladdin: what do users think?

William Mahaney: Falafels is really good, warm and flavorful.Food: 5/5 …

Ryan Bovorasmy: The best and most authentic Tabouleh in not just the state, but possibly in the Midwest. You will typically see cheap or poorly made Tabbouleh made with at least 80% Bulger wheat to save money... not this fresh, deep green masterpiece with the perfect amount of little white flecks of chewy wheat they create here. Add to that that there's a falafel pita that comes with both taboulah and baba ganouj by default. Both of those are usually "extra" if even offered at all at other places, both are so critical to making a great sandwich. That makes the pitas they have here a steal, and being located in pubmar just makes it all the better.

Maddie Adams: Hummus is the bomb

Megara Martinez: I love the samosas and the fresh juice. The service is okay and the food is goodRecommended dishes Shawarma …

Reem Abushawish: Service: 5/5

Amira Aamoumour: My first time here exceeded my expectations. This place had an awesome vibe and the energy was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious and amazing! The service was great and they played the right music for the ambiance. #arabic #middleeastern #moroccan #LiveToTheMax #happytimes #behappy #staypositive #lovelife #family #daughter #mommydaughtertime

LA_AZULEZ khalid: Great food but hookah flavor does not last long the flavor of the tobacco/molasses becomes harsh and burnt too quickly. Might be the hookah or the packing technique. For the price the hookah it is not worth it as much as you want to have it sometimes. I would suggest a heat management device to preserve the flavor. It is worth the investment

Donald Breitbach: It was Easter Sunday, at the upstairs Restaurant, service wS fantastic as well as the food, it was a memorable holiday dinner.dbParking: Parking on the East Side your use to it or not.Kid-friendliness: Yeah Kids could have explored the whole floor, staff was excellent which also means cool for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yes, I'm disabled so......
