Blu: what do users think?

Faithful Foodie: Amazing atmosphere. Amazing live jazz music. Amazing service. Amazing refreshments. Amazing time!Perfect adult environment to enjoy a great time out. Pfister is a wonderful hotel, but I would go again just to hang out at Blu!

Ivan Corona: The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Once you ascend to the bar, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the city. The addition of live jazz playing throughout the night was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.I came here solely for drinks, so my rating is based solely on this aspect.

Foundation: what do users think?

Jeremy Miller: Classic go-to tiki bar in Milwaukee. Great for the first stop of the night or after dinner.Drinks: Great cocktails all around. I always lean towards the tequila drinks. Some of the cocktails you’ve got to watch out for since they’ll be real sugary.Atmosphere: look at it. Moody and pirate-like. It sets the scene for a good time. Although it is really loud and you’ll prolly have a hard time hearing company.Service: super quick. Order at the bar.

Nicole Hines: !

Jenna Wade: Fun and kitschy with fantastic tiki drinks - what more could you want?!?

Finks: what do users think?

Mark Steele: What a fun and memorable experience.Well-valued, well-crafted, well-executed, sanitary drinking spot to have a solid cocktail. Solely focused on guest experience with no other distractions like food.Engaging, personable, and professional staff will guide you through the experience. My mixologist actually had traveled to some of the areas where the spirits were produced.A plethora of board and card games on hand to keep as competitive back drop while you're soaking in the experience. No TVs.I wish there was a watering hole like this close to my house.Well done to the team.

Burnhearts: what do users think?

Matthew Lyon: This is the best bar in Milwaukee, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They have a rotating tap and craft cocktail list so there are always plenty of options, but you never feel out of place drinking a High Life either. Perfect combo! Staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, even when the place gets busy. Can't recommend enough.

Dana Stalewski: My partner and my own favorite bar in Milwaukee. We felt welcome during on our first endeavor, and have been returning on every visit. Love the low key vibe, wonderful staff, and being able to connect with one other without distraction. 2 single bathrooms, so, if you have to pee, don’t hesitate to jump in line. I have a tiny tank. There’s tavern pizza, and it smelled good, but I already ate dinner and wasn’t to the point of second dinner!!

Buckley's Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Brandon Newman: Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!

Robert Whitehurst: A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I had to sit at the bar because I did not have reservations. To be fair it was Valentine's weekend.I took an out of town guest for dinner and his initial impression was that it was very "fancy". However, after dinner he confessed that it was one of the best meals he had every eaten. He travels for business and eats in many restaurants. He proclaimed that it is certainly a hidden gem in Milwaukee and would definitely return when he is in town.

Steven: Fried artichokes, cheesecake, and carrot cake were particularly amazing! Great service & ambiance too.Prices very reasonable for this high quality of food.

R Elle: , wine and divine desserts - everything was perfect. Carlie and Taylor “had me at hello” because they were both good listeners trying to understand my goals and needs. Buckley’s is higher end and worth it! Call ahead to get a sense of parking. Just amazing & thank you!

Katie B: in the cooking and baking. I had Mahi Mahi on a bed of pasta and pesto. Delicious. Appetizer special was bread served with a delicious cheese and a cheese spread. Just O.K. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Each dish had multiple tastes that came together beautifully. We will be back. Recommend calling to get direction on parking. We heard

Melissa Mondragon: The building is beautiful! The food was perfection. From the truffle fried artichokes to the seafood risotto and the salmon to the tuxedo cheesecake. The sangria had the most delicious combination of spices. This place is for foodies! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Joe to be your waiter. He's exceptional! 10/10 would recommend this wonderful establishment to everyone!

Daniel Kelley: Service: 5/5

David Sapp: The best vibe, amazing staff and the drinks just make it perfect!

Emily Anderson: I've been a few times at various levels. On this evening we grabbed a drink after a comedy show. This is a classic MKE bar with great service, creative and well-crafted drinks, fun decor and even better patrons. It's worth a stop...even if you just want to look at well-groomed men working behind the bar... You'll have a great time. You will find a conversation. The atmosphere is inviting and I intentionally ordered a fussy drink to confirm they care about their output... they do. They consistently do. And I love that about this place.Fall 2023: consistently great. Chris is dope.

The Sofie: what do users think?

Dillan Koch: This is a great place to go for a first date between 6-10pm. It's not busy, the music wasn't too loud, and it has a very nice upscale comforting atmosphere. The staff was great, drinks were amazing with an average cocktail price of $12, and plenty of deals on beers, wines, margaritas, etc. They'll turn the music up at 9pm when it starts to get busier, and 10pm is when the main music event starts and it turns into a typical loud fun dance club. Both my date and I were very impressed. I highly recommend The Sofie!

teresa roque: Went here for New Year’s had so much fun had very good drinks atmosphere was great. Only thing is I got my coat stolen and I’m very very disappointed. 😭 called the next day, but I had no luck. Was hoping maybe it got left behind or if they had cameras, they could help me distinguish maybe who it wasAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Emma M: was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ivan Benitez: Great vibes after 10 pm

GAMERxPROx BRO: If you love house music, the sofie is for you

Daniel Towers: The house music on Wednesdays! Awesome vibe and lounge areas.

Kristy Zahn: Older millennial. The music didn't kill me to start with. $12 martinis. Lots of vaping though

Camp Bar Tosa: what do users think?

Jennifer Drossart: Nice atmosphere, unique! Food is ok, service is good. Have good bloodys! They have shuttles for the Brewer games which is nice and usually why we go. My complaint would be their opening time on Sundays, noon. We want BRUNCH, not lunch. So if it's a 1pm game you can't even go enjoy a drink and food. Have to order and eat/drink on the run. Lost our business for this reason.

Sierra Lyon: 100% visit thus bar it was amazing

Reagan: Pretty good! Themes are cool.

Caitlin Feerick: We held a small get together for my brother this past Sunday during the packer game. The management team was so accommodating with scheduling and our server was top notch! She always had our drinks full and was very friendly. I wish I would have remembered her name. As someone who frequents this location, I can say this is the standard of service and quality they provide each visit. Thanks camp team!

Caffrey's Pub: what do users think?

The Borg Cooking Show: The ride the rail challenge is quite fun. They have a decent pool table, and outside patio for smoking, a dart board, trivia on mondays, and friendly bartenders.Parking: There is a paid parking garage directly next door and free street parking around the block usually.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in so it is wheelchair accessible.

Connor OMalley: One of the pubs of all time.

Alyssa Hougham: My friends and I wandered in during our visit to town and are so glad we did! The vibe was super chill and the bartender was so friendly and helpful. We had to stop in again a few days later at the end of our trip and he remembered us. We didn't catch his name, but shout out to the one from North Dakota for being awesome!

Fabb Iltail: Boring

Paul O'Mahony: Went here midweek and enjoyed a friendly welcome, great atmosphere and nice deals on drinks. We had such a good time that an item was left behind us - the manager went above and beyond to get it back across the ocean to us. Couldn't recommend higher!

Kevin Fera: Bridget

Terrance brown: Very cool people

Matt Chu: Fun college bar, good prices, hammerschlagen, pool, darts, and free popcorn.

Von Trier: what do users think?

Nan Rose: night. The food was great and the service was excellent. Decor in the bar is outstanding. We wanted to show some family visiting from out of state an authentic Milwaukee bar and Von Trier helped us do that. Thank you!The reason I gave the food a four was because it came in a basket and not on a plate. Not a big deal, I know the baskets are reusable. We definitely hope to go again the next time we are in Milwaukee.

Arcadio Bolaños: For many years Von Trier has been the quintessential German bar in Milwaukee's east side. I used to live so close to it and now that I'm no longer in Wisconsin I miss it. Von Trier is, I should say, more German than many of the German bars I've visited while traveling in Germany. Tradition is important, and you can see that from wall to wall, ceiling to ceiling, you can see that in the decoration and the style. Von Trier has an impressive and large selection of beer, and I think for any fan of German beer, or just good beer in general, you'll definitely find something to stimulate your palate and placate your thirst. I visit Wisconsin once a year and I always come back here. Good memories and good beer. As it should be.

Benjamin Polony: One of the best bars in Milwaukee. Great German beer selection, warming interior, and a friendly crowd.

Kristin D: I hadn’t been here since they started serving food, so when family was visiting and wanted to go out for German, we decided to try it. The atmosphere is just as I remembered - it actually feels like you’ve stepped into an old world beer hall in Germany, with painted murals and steins lining the walls. We got there during Happy Hour, when some drinks are $6, a great value. There was just one hardworking server, and several guys behind the bar, but when we asked one about drinks he suggested we just wait for the server to come to our table. Seemed like they could have helped her out.Everybody loved the food they ordered, sausages with delicious condiments like radish slaw and caramelized onions, spaetzle and sauerkraut, and fish fry with potato pancakes. Truly some of the best German food in a very German city.Dietary restrictions: I didn’t notice any specifically gf items on the menu, but I requested a sausage without the bun, and found it to be a very satisfying meal. The server did inquire if I had Celiac or a sensitivity, showing they have an awareness of how to handle food allergies.
