Ivan Corona: The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Once you ascend to the bar, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the city. The addition of live jazz playing throughout the night was amazing. Zeb Boos: I wish I could say the experience and the aesthetics were worth but at 15$ a drink with slow service and a very “boujee” attitude about the place, I would rather go to another bar. Additionally, seating yourself can be a hassle during busier times. HOWEVER, the drinks themselves were sensational! The drinks alone get 5 stars. If you want to go get a really good cocktail with your partner as a start to the night, then the money is totally worth it.

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Benjamin McNeil: around and looking at the details. We ordered small plates as appetizers, and they were fantastic and arrived quickly. The large plates took a fair bit longer to arrive, but all of us cleaned our plates. Seriously, my tiny sister actually scraped her plate clean with her fork and knife. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Prices for food were pretty high, though cocktail prices were a good deal.Vegetarian options: Butternut squash small plate was insanely delicious

Maia H: This is a small cocktail bar, so don't be surprised if you don't get a seat on the weekends, especially during happy hour! Happy hour is 4-6pm and it's half off their specialty house cocktails or draft beer. Our group liked the Wisconsin old fashioned and the negroni spritz the best. The bartender did a good job by herself when it was extremely busy. My only complaint is the music was too loud, we could barely hear each other talk.

We had oysters to start that were delicious and so fresh. I tried the lobster bisque followed by scallops with a lemon burre blanc sauce. My BF had the filet and it was the best filet either of us have had! This will be a new holiday tradition if they do it again next year.
Nell McCaffery: Last night, my date and I had fabulous meal at Gene's Supper Club, aka Barnacle Bud's. What a fun concept. It was cozy with a bit of kitschy holiday flair! The food and cocktails were DELICIOUS! We love the mussels, with a bit of heat, the cheese curds that we're freshly fried in homemade same day batter. My filet with mushroom and garlic herb butter and roasted potatoes and asparagus was cooked perfectly for my tastes, medium rare. I had two cocktails, the cranberry Tom Collins and the Sidecar. The Sidecar was my favorite, but both were tasty! If you can, snag a reservation for this fun pop-up event!

Matthew Lyon: This is the best bar in Milwaukee, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They have a rotating tap and craft cocktail list so there are always plenty of options, but you never feel out of place drinking a High Life either. Perfect combo! Staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, even when the place gets busy. Can't recommend enough.

Love the low key vibe, wonderful staff, and being able to connect with one other without distraction. 2 single bathrooms, so, if you have to pee, don’t hesitate to jump in line. I have a tiny tank.There’s tavern pizza, and it smelled good, but I already ate dinner and wasn’t to the point of second dinner!!

Jeremy Miller: Classic go-to tiki bar in Milwaukee. Great for the first stop of the night or after dinner.Drinks: Great cocktails all around. I always lean towards the tequila drinks. Some of the cocktails you’ve got to watch out for since they’ll be real sugary.Atmosphere: look at it. Moody and pirate-like. It sets the scene for a good time. Jingwen: Stopped by Goodkind for a post-ski meal with friends and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was full, but the friendly host managed to make us feel personally welcomed. Really enjoyed the vibe and the ambiance. The food exceeded our expectations across the board—from appetizers to desserts. I've already recommended it to several friends.

The staff was a 10/10 every person was friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. They greeted and seated us in a very populated area of the bar so we ordered cocktails immediately. They had a very impressive menu that out scaled most Chicago restaurants in prowess. The chef exceeded himself when our food arrived and the presentation and attention to detail were demonstrated very well. I would give them more than five stars if I could. They are located in Bay View so it is a drive, however they are one the best I've had so far and it's definitely worth it!
