David Harley: I visited Kilwins today as part of a networking group. They were hosting for the local chamber of Commerce. It was my first time in the store and I was amazed at the variety of treats that they had available. Everything from peanut brittle to pecan turtles to a dozen flavors of ice cream -- bye bye diet! I won the door prize they were giving away and I can't wait to tear into it. I would highly recommend Kilwins for your decadent delights.

Steven Schmelzling: Can't help but stop by Kilwins whenever visiting BAYSHORE to get some of their can't be beat kettle corn and a chocolate dipped marshmallow. When the kids have been good we swing by since their caramel apples are a favorite of one of our sons while our other loves the chocolate dipped waffle cones. In the winter their hot chocolate is amazing made with real chocolate, same with their mochas. I'm always looking for a deal, so I walk out with their BOGO Fudge on certain days of the week as well. If they have chocolate raspberry get two!

Katie Graff: Conveniently located in the Milwaukee Public Market with what seems like endless chocolate and candy options and even ice cream. We were stuffed from lunch but decided to satisfy our sweet tooth with a piece of chocolate covered peanut butter. It was divine. Both the chocolate and peanut had really good flavor and weren't too sweet. We'll definitely be back to try more options.

Staci Yoder: I’m now craving these fancy chocolates after visiting Kehr’s charming little candy corner in The Milwaukee Public Market recently. I treated myself to an assortment from the fancier filled section, and was pleased they also had the fun and colorful stuff to take home to my daughter. She loved their gummy worms. My fave was the pear-dipped-chocolate. The warm candied pecans and cashews were divine. And the packaging for them was even cuter! The young man helping me at the counter was so patient and possibly sweeter than the chocolates! 💖

Maurice Gulledge: We were sightseeing in Milwaukee and had a craving for chocolate. So we found our way to the Burke Candy & Ingredient store and what a lovely surprise it was. The whole store smelled of freshly-made toffee! When I asked for recommendations, the young woman behind the counter, Julia Burke, offered generous samples of chocolate-covered toffee bites and milk chocolate salted caramels. Both were delicious, and of course we bought some to take home. While she boxed everything up, she talked about the history of her family’s chocolate company and pointed through the window to the actual candy-making process. She was really a goodwill ambassador for Burke Candy. Finally she wrapped everything up in tissue and a flowered bag, and we left wishing we lived closer to this lovely shop! Patty & Maurice G.

Rebecca Linehan: I always visit Fazio's for holiday gifts for family and co-workers. I was bummed that they discontined the reward program with the punchcards. I had cashed in a few over the years and had a couple nearly filled up that I tried getting punched when they told me the program ended. I wished I'd had known so I could have cashed them out sooner. I'll still keep shopping at Fazios because their chocolates are so good. I always pick up fairy food for myself when I go to make larger gift purchases.

Gabriella: We had a reservation for 5:30 and were sat immediately by the enthusiastic host.We ordered the salmon potato pancake which was amazing and gone within 2 minutes as well as the scallops and the sea bass entrees. They were both amazing and we were extremely pleased with the quality and portions. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing and the atmosphere was relaxing. My only note is the mock gin and tonic tasted like bitter lemonade but it was still good and I finished it. The aperol mocktail would be a good choice for anyone wanting a drink that tastes closer to the original.
World Traveler: World TravelerDowntown Dinner DateWith virtually no restaurants, other than pubs, within walking distance of the Performing Arts Center we chose Aria. Reservations are a must as the room filled immediately after opening at 5:00 p.m. We had a moment before being seated to savor our before dinner cocktails in the adjoining bar, Giggly. Both were large and well poured, served by a friendly waitress. The hostess showed us to our table soon afterwards.Our waiter, Alex, described in detail all the new additions to the menu and introduced his assistant, Bridgett. A popover with onion butter was delivered as we took our time perusing the menu choices.We both decided on the Trademark Chicken as our entrees. Alex's description was spot-on as this was thee best we've ever tasted! With the accompaning sides we were satisfied and had just a little room left for dessert. We both opted for a chocolate mousse dome creation that I felt was unusually presented and lacking in flavor. And they were fourteen bucks each!We both are experienced in fine dining and know what to expect in a first-class establishment and were not disappointed here for sure. Our waitstaff was friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Two managers also stopped by to insure all was well as we dined. All the signs of a top shelf restaurant.The prices here are on the high end and could be compared to New York or Las Vegas dining rooms. Milwaukee restaurants are generally more moderately priced than other more sophisticated parts of the country with a few exceptions downtown. But this is an upscale hotel and probably caters to a well-heeled client. But we enjoyed our evening with Aria and will return in the future.
See Yeah: Great place for a date night! My husband and I really enjoyed our food and drinks. Very relaxed atmosphere and got a table by the window. Alex was our server and he was excellent, even making wine suggestions, Moscato was super delicious. The Sunday chicken dinner was yummy, it came with the perfect amount of sides and chicken skin was very crispy.

Ragi Mehta: This is the best local chocolate shop in Wisconsin/Chicago area. We had hot chocolate and it was out of the world! Super creamy and dark. Just the way we like it. Kloe took care of our order and she was really sweet and helpful!! She rocks! All the chocolates are fair trade and organic. We need more places like this. A must visit for sure!!!!!!!! We drove all the way from Chicago to have the hot chocolate on the weekends. Love it!!!!
Caitlin Boone: Highly suggest taking the "chocolate making 101" class at Tabal chocolate in the Tosa village 🍫 not only is it very informative and fun but it's an amazing company to support. They are one of very few who actually make their own chocolate and passionately partner with the actual farmers who source the cacao beans! Looking forward to taking the second level class in the future! The host and instructor Matt really made the class a wonderful experience! I left the class with a lot of respect for this little company right in our own backyard!

Naomi Gundlach: Such a unique bean to bar shop and we love, love the fact that when buying their chocolate we are supporting Colombian Farmers! My hubby is a Colombian farmer so we know first hand how important supporting them is! The chocolate smells when entering the shop were incredible and the depth of flavor from the different bars is so, so good! Keep up the good work! If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to stop by.
Alex Miranda Cruz: This is one of our favorite chocolate makers in the state of Wisconsin. Whenever we’re in Mikwaukee, we always find a way to make a Tabal Chocolate detour in Wauwatosa. Their chocolates have so much nuance and decadence. I personally enjoy how grainy and stoney their chocolate bars are. Their flavors are delicately balanced and I can taste the quality of ingredients in every bite. It’s quite an experience and I hope you get to enjoy Tabal Chocolates as much as we do. One of my favorite flavors is the Superberry Dark Chocolate. It’s a beautifully balanced chocolate with fruity notes and bitter dark chocolate.
Kiro Chen: I love this chocolate shop. They make it on site but the quality of their chocolate can be inconsistent. It was good one time and then one time.
Becky Chen: You can sample different chocolates you want to try. The chocolate is made in house which is amazing. The bars are a bit pricey but once you try this chocolate, you will neber go back to eating Hersheys. The taste of the chocolate really is on another level. If you are a chocolate enthusist, I would recommend you to come here and grab a couple bars.
