roz tornatore: i am really happy that emperor of china is open for in house dining. the prices of our favorite dishes was a shock much higher than pre pandemic. the dumplings were too large and doughy everything told me that the rest. has a new chef. the portions were large and tasty. the owner did nothing to update or change the decor except for the giant paper dragon which i like. i will have to remember to pay in cash as a 4% charge is tacked on when a card is used. the food star is low because i was really looking forward to having the dumplings, which were the best for years, and i was so disappointed with them and the price.

Let me start with the dumplings, literally the best I have ever had, and I make my own! The dough is hand made and the filling is so flavorful! I want to try the fried ones next time. The general tso had hand breaded chicken and was amazing! The lady working here was super delightful and very sweet! Would absolutely recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back!

Nice dining atmosphere. General tso chicken here is delicious as well as the crab rangoon. Will definitely come back!I made the above review a couple of years ago!! I recently came back here because Yayas has been not being good lately and dried out food. I’ve been eating back here for a month now and today will be my 4th time going!! The beef fried rice and orange chicken are my favorite. Egg rolls are good as well. Only thing I wish were better were the crab Rangoon but I’m just happy I found a place in the Milwaukee area that has a saucy orange chicken. A lot of the surrounding areas make it with barely any sauce!

A: Love getting food from here. All the food I've gotten so far is really good and the portion sizes are bigger than any other Chinese food place I've ordered takeout from. My favorite thing to get is the general tso's with egg fried rice and "small" egg drop soup for $11. Keeps me fed for a few meals haha. The flavors of the food there are also my favorites and the general tso's is mainly chicken instead of drowning in sauce and breading like many other places I've ordered from. Service is also fast and the people there are nice whenever I pick up my food.

Jedix: and it's unmatched in consistency in dishes. Typically I can go to a chinese restaurant and it will taste vastly different each time, when I come here it is just as great every time. Their cheese wontons are fantastic. Can't say enough about the place because it ticks all the boxes. I would just say if you want any sort of heat, make sure to say "extra spicy" when ordering, even though some dishes are labeled "spicy" they definitely are not. I assume this has to do with the average spice tolerance in the area, not a knock on the restaurant.
