They both were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were delicious! Our appetizer and our 3 course dinner were to die for! We were so stuffed by the end of our dining experience! We will definitely be back for another indulgent evening!Parking: We had no issue finding free street parking almost immediately on a Friday night around 7:30pm.

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

Scott V: Omylort was this good.We chose the 7 course tasting with pairing and could not have been more pleased.Of all the dishes the scallop was probably my favorite for one simple reason... I liked it. Normally I will not eat scallops because the texture or flavor or both are a turn off, but not with these. These had enough firmness to not be jell-o-ie, yet still weren't tough. They didn't have a 'dirty' flavor that I often experience, but had a very nice caramel crisp from being seared. Talking to our waiter, it turns out they get them "dry packed" and that maintains the freshness as though straight off the boat.Whatever the reason, WOW.Now for what was my real favorite turned out to be the goose sausage and duck, although personal preference is that the duck be just slightly more cooked, that did not take away from the dish.Every bit of love a chef could put into their profession went into this meal. Were it proper to give a huge to the person that pleased the tastes this well, I'd go back just to give a firm embrace of thanks.Amazing, thank you.

Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had.Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. John Ess: Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in the world. Every dish was fantastic. The food was very interesting, with innovative ingredients. More importantly, unlike some fine dining restaurants, they made sure that every innovative dish was absolutely delicious. Particularly the koji ice cream with brown rice and caviar, the shiitake rooibos tea, and the madras carrot cake. They also made great substitutions for my pescatarian wife. Excellent beverage pairing as well, and perfect portion sizes. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: They can make a vegetarian tasting menu, with great veggie options.

David Bonilla: Overall, this was an OK-at-best experience considering the expectations I had for the prices. As our app, we had the tuna tar-tar. It was served on a bed of avocado salad. We shared a 16oz bone-in Prime rib. The meat was cooked well as ordered, but also a bit bland. We had a side of broccoli which was very bland, no spices or sauces, just steamed broccoli. The mushrooms were also nothing to brag about. Drinks, the Antioxidant was very good, and my Makers old fashioned was very good as well. Oh, and we had 2 rounds of bread, first round was warmed Hawaiian rolls. Not what I'd expect from a steakhouse. Second round they did bring a nicer bread, which is more along what I'd expect. Overall, a decent experience, but can't consider it an option knowing how many places in the area are exceptionally amazing. Shoutout to the service and staff. Everyone was very friendly and on point.

The servings are HUGE, and I've never had a meal I didn't like.Things to know that to me add so much charm:-The menu changes every day, no, you can't see it ahead of time.-It's tiny, cozy, and intimate.-If you want to be seated right when they open, you'll have to join the line outside which usually forms 30-45 minutes before opening. Even in the winter months.-The cake is a homemade family recipe. It's actually perfect.-All the staff are so friendly. We always love seeing our server!Highly, highly recommend.

This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.

When I called to make reservations for 1, they saved me a spot at the bar to watch the chefs in action. This restaurant is obsessive. Very excited to check out the wine dinners they are offering.I finally feel like Milwaukee is growing on me after moving here 9 months ago.

Jason: Lots of wood and brick inside. A giant chalkboard of local farms that support the restaurant is displayed over the bar area. Pretty sure everything on the menu is sourced locally, at least that was the impression I got. This really shows in the flavors.Food portions are incredibly generous for the price. This is the spot to go for morel mushrooms if they are in season.Drinks are great. Nice balance of flavors there too. Main course Trout is really fantastic. This was completely deboned, but presented as whole. Hopefully that's how all their fish is served.Dessert fell a bit short compared to the flavor, creativity and ingredients in the starters and mains. Maybe I just picked the wrong one. Would come back.

Michelle Alvarez: and the trout. They managed to make the polenta taste cheesy, and it was super savory. It was the only time I've liked it. The mushrooms served on top were tangy and a perfect pair with the polenta. The trout was very tender and had big flavor. The duck breast and rabbit ragout were also great. I enjoyed the goat cheesecake. I was skeptical because goat cheese can have a strong flavor, but it was perfect. There was a large selection of wine and delicious cocktails. Beautiful interior with lots of warm lighting and artwork. A very welcoming place. I would absolutely return, mostly for that polenta!

The food was incredible, highlights for me being the pork shoulder and beef short rib… cooked to perfection. The goat cheesecake was to die for. Service was top notch. Would you call that person the cup washer because there’s really no dishes there are silverware so if you have silverware and cups and you’re just washing that then I suppose that still a job but I just wonder what that job is called especially in Spanish. My favorite piece of art is on the wall. It’s a crying baby. I like the fact that someone spent the time doing the crying baby instead of a regular baby I know it’s still the same baby but faces changed, but that doesn’t really change who the baby is or was they have cool sweatshirts I bought one one time also they let you bring your water guns in.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle.My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

Heath Parrott: and found another table for us to enjoy our dinner. The service assistant staff was quick, efficient and professional. Our steaks were cooked properly and well seasoned. Even if you are full - at least split a desert. We will go back.

Bethany Blount: Quick Update: It's still delicious! I had more restraint than below, but I also came hungrier. They have several delightful crêpe options this season. I wish I could afford to try them all!Absolutely delish! We went for a little brunch and ended up splurging on a three course meal. I made the joke when ordering dessert that I would have to be wheeled out of the restaurant. It was all so good though that my willpower abandoned me. I would highly recommend!

Dave Dunn: Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.

Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.
