Jeana Deninger: My son was craving for chicken tenders while we were on a road trip. I found this place with great reviews and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with all the food we ordered—Philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken tenders and fries, whole wings, battered deep fried corn on the cob and strawberry short cake. Very friendly staff. We’ll come back to try more!
Sabrina R.: I'm from Chicago, and this place is about as close to Chicago-style chicken wings with the mild sauce & lemon pepper that you're going to find in Milwaukee. The only thing missing is the slice of white bread. They make everything fresh to order, so if you're in a rush, then call ahead of time or place an order online. My go-to is the 3 pc whole wing dinner with fries & a piece of catfish on the side. My kids split the appetizer plate with mozzarella sticks, poppers, & fried mushrooms, and everything was tasty, crisp, & fresh. The prices are super reasonable as well. The guy at the counter was great, and super helpful. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but what do you expect from a gas station chicken shack? It's clean, and they have bathrooms. The gas at the station was super cheap compared to Chicago prices, so we made sure to fill up before hitting the road. This is a spot I'm happy to stop at when I'm in the Milwaukee area.
Amber Castro: Ive lived near this restaurant for a little over a year. Tonight I thought I'd give it a try. Omfg why did I wait so long? I got the Philly steak salad my husband got the Philly cheese steak sandwich meal and my son got the steak nachos supreme. Everything was amazing. My salad I had to put into another bowl because half filled me up. This will definitely be my go to place from now on. Next I'm going to try their chicken.

tee ols: Food was hot and had a good flavor. The kids meal was 8.99 for 2 chicken strips fries and a drink. A mad hoagie was 11.99 for just the sandwich. I upgraded for the meal with fries and a drink. I got a side of Mac n cheese. It was about 33$. The food was good but for that price I can go to a sit down restaurant. Also should consider I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my food to come out.

Efrain Alicea: I order from here very often the food is always good I've honestly never had a problem with there food being cold or not there. I'll most likely be ordering from here as long as there open. The only reason I'm not giving the 4 stars is because delivery SOMETIMES not all call and say "I'm here" for me or my girl to stand outside and wait for them. I tend to order pick up now and it's still totally worth it.

Star Sight: Best JJ from the Midwest to the PNW. That old man knows what he is doing. Straight fire and consistent. Food has been ready when he says it will be.Visted here dozens of times. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard.It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready.Had a small issue one time. He fixed it quickly. It's not even worth mentioning.Highly recommend.

Also if you come here and they have the blueberry BBQ or the butterscotch BBQ definitely get one of those. Their crinkle cut fries and the potato wedges have always been perfect, nice fluffy insides, crispy outside, and the food is always hot and fresh, I literally cannot recommend this place enough. AND if the owner sees this PLEASE add the butterscotch BBQ to permanent sauce list, it is quite literally the best BBQ I've ever had in my life, the 3 friends I had with me also agreed, I would buy and drink that stuff by bottle!!!!!Parking: Good luck!

Matthew Failla: Came here for the first time recently for lunch. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff. It turned out it was actually the owner and the GM who served me. It’s awesome to see a place where the owner helps out with day to day operations. I got a bloody mary which was really good with a great garnish and 8 wings. The wings were fried then grilled and tossed in Buffalo sauce. I love wings so I'm usually pretty critical and these were good. Not the best I’ve ever had but pretty darn good. Nice sauce to crisp ratio, classic buffalo sauce. I’m excited to try the rest of the menu and the alternating soul food and puerto rican specials on certain sundays. I feel lucky to have something like this place walking distance from home. Great vibes and they really make you feel like a friend right away.

Nathan Stachowiak: Being a long time customer of JJ's fish and chicken near 35th and Wisconsin, and having just moved to the lower east side, I couldn't wait to try Arlanderz. I'm happy to say they didn't disappoint! The catfish was cooked fresh and perfectly crispy, while also not being too oily or greasy as some fish fry's tend to be.Arlanderz hours tend to be a bit unpredictable, at least lately, but that shouldn't dissuade you from stopping in. They're one of the city's hidden gems, in my opinion, and the food is definitely worth it.

Rudy Knaflic: It was a after normal dinner time near 8pm on a Friday night and was looking for fish fry. There were many choices in the neighborhood and decided on JJ Fish. Had the 6 wings 6 fish. Was able to get 3 catfish steaks and 3 ocean perch with fries. The place was busy with lots of carry out order, but they had two people in the kitchen cooking and one up front packing and taking orders. Fish was tasty, fresh tasting and hot. Lots of fries if you like fries and only complaint would be wish it came with even a small side of slaw. I think you could purchase it, but it would have made the meal even more with it. Next time. Will be back even though.

Chicken wings seem a little pricey but that everywhere. $2 per wing is pretty wild in eyes, but very delicious to be honest. This was the first time I ordered Catfish & it was Definitely taste buds soothing and I strongly recommend it if you like catfish, for a 3 piece of Catfish I would recommend getting 2 hot sauces.Parking: Height Traffic area
