Liz Dean: This shop has quickly become one of my favorite places to look for something new, fun, and unique. I've bought several dresses since my first visit in June. One of my more recent trips I bought a really funky dress by N by Nancy brand. It was super tiny pleated fabric with a black background and lots of random color splashed here and there. I wore it to my cousin's wedding and got a million compliments. One woman even wanted to see the tag on the dress and wanted to know where I bought it. I also got a fabulous purple/blue dress for a friend's wedding in July that zipped up the front.Every time I'm downtown I try to make time to stop in and take a look around. I love how unique the clothing is and I don't think anything is unreasonably priced for an independent boutique. I know what I'm getting there I won't see anywhere else. The ladies who work there have always been super friendly and helpful. I appreciate their willingness to give me an honest opinion while trying things on.

Jeremy Poppy: I really cannot overstate how great of an experience it is going to Harleys. Every time I've visited the store, it's been evident that all the representatives put in tremendous effort and take pride in meeting their customers needs. Bob Norris is who I work with when I need an outfit and I can only wish I had met him years earlier! I used to fumble around other stores trying to determine if this jacket matches a shirt, tie, shoes, belt, etc and then just feeling overwhelmed and deflated. Even if they all seemed to match to me then I'm asking myself if that is really how they should fit. Now I just go talk to Bob at Harleys. He listens so closely to what I need and explains all the options that will accomplish what I am looking for in a particular outfit. Bob makes sure every time that I walk out that door that I am feeling and looking great! Thank you so much for all the hard work you guys put in to helping guys like me out!!

Zero intimidation given our somewhat little exposure on the difference between “S,M,L,snd XL”!!! vs. custom made beautiful clothing.It was a sheer delight shopping there.We just can’t say enough about Jeff! He even pointed out some perfect pieces for Mike that were on SALE that looked fantastic on him, and kept us in our budget!! Claire and Andrew: I went to Harleys to have a custom tailored suit made for my wedding and I could not be more satisfied. Jeff was tremendously helpful, he showed fastidious attention to detail when helping me to choose every unique element from the buttons to the lining to the thread color. Harleys' staff's impressive sartorial skills were immediately clear when the suit arrived -- it fit like a glove.

Dave Zeroth: I rented my tux from Harleys Co for my wedding and I had a wonderful experience. The tux was incredibly sharp. The suits for my groomsmen, ushers, ring bearer, flower dude, and additional family members were great on the wedding day as well. We had a few pants/shirts that came in a little short but the staff there worked quickly to make sure everyone fit comfortably in the suits. It was a tall task as we needed a lot of suits but they got it done. Shoutout to the staff, y’all made my time with you guys special!

Justine Filapek: Cute little shop. Registered for the Metal Etching workshop that was scheduled for noon on Saturday. Arrived a little early to browse the shop but I arrived there were "Closed" and "Temporarily Closed while we deal with some issues" signs in the window and on the door. Not happy. Five other people arrived who were part of a bridal party and had the same reaction. There was no phone number nor email address referenced, just, "see our website." A little passed noon, on eof the other group received a phone call from the instructor stating she had overslept, was really sorry, but was on her way.It was frustrating, yes, but it's not a big corporate shop and things do sometimes happen.By the time we got inside, warmed up a bit, and settled into the back room where the workshop is, it was after 12:30. I wasn't in a hurry, so after getting over my frustration of initially thinking the class wouldn't happen and I was out my money, I was just fine. Relaxed.The class itself is very casual. The instructor is very sweet, informative, and friendly. Simple explanations. Can freehand or stamp your metal pieces for etching. Interesting and easy process. The instructor felt bad about being late so we got to do as many pieces as we wanted. No one took advantage it and went nuts, but we were able to make some really nice pieces. While they were in the acid, we got to pick out accessories and findings to go with our etched peices, and then assemble our jewelry. The instructor did help people with assembly who wanted/needed help.Great workshop to learn a new skill.

I'm afraid to touch the pho since this place is hmong owned."My Bubble Tea"? What can I say, I don't buy bubble from them. why? They make some crazy Papaya. Yes. Papaya!!! Excellent! It's so good, it rivals MN Papaya. Wow. I said it. Better than MN papaya. For now, this place has the best Papaya in WI/MN.Highly Recommended!

Sofia Cook: me and my mom just bought the most beautiful dress i’ve ever seen! we looked around and found many great clothing in amazing condition, and they have all sorts of styles and colors. Plume also has a selection of shoes and tons of jewelry that’s vintage and it’s such a good vibe in the store. 💕

Mercedes de la Rosa: How do I even begin to praise the store that makes vintage accesible for woman of all shapes? I had legitimately given up on having the cute vintage style of my Pinterest dreams. I’m a size 16/18 and just was getting by with clothes that felt comfortable until my friend suggested Plume. In I wandered and three years later almost all of my closet started at Plume. I’ve never walked out, defeated, ashamed, or self-conscious- all the usual feelings for me when trying on clothes. I honestly feel all glowy. I love that you can book a private shopping option and now use it any time I’m struggling to find the dress for an event. Plume is really a place for birds of all feathers. ❤️

Hazel Cicero: , there’s something so special about a smaller, meticulously curated shop like Plume. I’ve visited vintage shops in nearly every place I’ve travelled to, but I can’t say any of them have the attention to detail, unique pieces, and wonderful staff and ownership that Plume has. My favorite jacket of all time is from here and every time I wear it I’m met with compliments, which ALWAYS prompts me to get into rave mode about this store. Bonus points for their efforts to find plus size vintage items; I’m not personally a shopper in that section but it’s awesome to see them actively work on expanding that section

Morgan Walker: Best vintage clothing shop in Milwaukee. I repeated have good finds here & love the expansive selection. The staff are super helpful and nice. Follow their instagram to buy items on their page or story as well if you don't have time to go in person!

I have gotten a range of pieces form blouses & earrings to my wedding day purse! They make me feel so special and excited to shop every time I come in! Alyssa Santiago: Best curated resale store in Milwaukee! Maggie is amazing and the whole business is so cool. The jewelry and accessories are especially good. Always the first place I go when I want a new outfit for a birthday dinner or to go to a show. Always a top recommendation to anyone from out of town and wants to shop.

chris: Not local whatsoever but walked in with some old cruddy shoes that needed replacing. The employee diagnosed my issue immediately, brought out some pairs to try on, and solved my foot issue in just 15 minutes.
