Lynn Wylie: Schneider and even his lab tech Keisha were top notch. They all really took time to listen and engage. They were extremely busy that day and were did have to wait to be seen. Totally understandable . The level of care received was worth the wait! Thank you to the staff for turning worry into relief!!

B Lynn: From the ER to being admitted,to the MRI team they were absolutely wonderful, they listened to my needs, got what I needed from Drs , were awesome with lab draws , the MRI guys were awesome I was in there for an hour and didn't feel afraid or anything. The Docs all listened including the surgeon and pain team. The Nurses and CNA answered call lights on time. I was in building K 6th floor L6428 please give the teams all shifts a huge shout out ! My experience is way better than at Froedtert any stay I had.

Jay bone: This place has a bad name in the city right but this place has did a 360. I was really mess up came here and they treated me right away. The staff were on their job. Gave me pain killer and started right away to see what was going on😢. Had to stay over night and they treated me really good 😢😢😢. I want to THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH ❤️ 🙏🏽 cause I was in really bad pain and you guys came threw 😢

Words can’t describe how much I love & appreciate every staff member! They wake up & put their heart & soul into what they do, St Joesph have a very good team of people working in the emergency room! I have so many beautiful stories to tell but my most recent visit I came in having an asthma attack & the nurses noticed I brought my kids with me & that I didn’t have any help with them so they went above & beyond to make sure my kids were comfortable while I got the care I needed! Jacobo: Pleasant outpatient surgery, everyone was nice, wasn’t overwhelming busy, parking was abundant in the garage, Donna RN was great, cafeteria was delicious, liked the daily prayer on the intercom and the chapel was big and peaceful.
Old Man River It just keeps rolling along: and have been inpatient following surgery. With no "occupation-dropping" I have been treated like gold, everytime without fail. The shortest wait-time me or my family have ever experienced. You can be in and out less than one hour. Impossible to beat...I go nowhere else.
Mason V Samuels: I can only comment on the community activity. Went to an event here, nice people, trying to help with activity in the community. Happy to have met them and hope they'll do more. I met an Alicia, and she was the head of the event. She said it was the first, so I'm hoping they have them every year.

Stephen Kennedy: I have been at OHOW 4 times over the years for surgeries that were needed due to a significant childhood injury. Each time the doctors and staff have treated me with respect and understanding. Because of that very fine treatment, I have always recommended OHOW, and specifically Dr. Rory Wright, to friends who found themselves in need of orthopedic services.And, by the way, the food is really good there!

Tammy Vrba: Everyone was so kind and considerate. I especially loved how there seemed to be true camaraderie between staff members. You don’t always see that in the medical industry. I had complete confidence in all my caregivers from my surgeon, Dr Jost, to his PA, Jake, to the nurses, PCA, PT/OT and dietary staff. The hospital was very clean and orderly and the room was wonderfully comfortable. I would not hesitate to come back to OHOW for future orthopedic procedures if needed and have already highly suggested that relatives and friends, in the area, seriously consider OHOW should they require an orthopedic procedure. Thank you all again!

Anne Gleischman: Every staff member, from the smiling security guard at 6:30a.m. to every nurse, CNA, and doctor, was kind, concerned, helpful and actively engaged in making me comfortable. If you must have surgery, this hospital is a wonderful place to go.
Lynn Sheldon: My surgery today went very smoothly. Felt very welcomed and well informed. All the staff were wonderful, Dr. Gorman excellent. It's nice to hear my concerns were normal for post-op patients. No stress felt. I didn't remember everyones names, but all were great. Rosina was super and was a great discharge. Leann Heiden: I just want to thank all of my staff that I had. All the shifts were great. They gave me all the means to heal. PT was rough, but I know that she was just teaching me. I know I had to do the exercises to get better. I would recommend the Orthopedic hospital to everyone. It's an awesome hospital. Everyone was so nice from the dietary and house keeping to the nurses, PT and OT. And especially my Drs. It was the best hospital experience I've ever had. They are all so dedicated to the pt. Smaller hospitals are definitely better. Again thank you all for the excellent care.

Kate L: I had a RTKR on 9/21/23 with Dr. Ryan Graf, and I have to tell you, I'm so pleased with the results. I have suffered for a long time with extreme knee pain, and Dr. Graf really hit it out of the park. The office downtown is wonderful, and convenient for me since I work nearby. Dr. Graf also made sure to support the Physical Therapy needed after this replacement so that I had the best chance for success. Thank you, Milwaukee Orthopaedic Group! I will recommend you and Dr. Graf to anyone I know who needs a joint replacement.
Audra Van Wie: MOGL is the best. I am very active and play recreational sports - they treat me like the would any other athlete. Highly recommend for your sports-related orthopedic needs.

James Dolan: After years of suffering from what I thought was a muscular problem, I saw Doctor Gordon , who diagnosed my ailment as a nerve in my neck. He referred me to doctor Khan, who then successfully performed surgery. I awoke with zero pain and am still pain free with additional movement. Dr Khan is easy to talk to, he explains everything that can or could happen, and puts you at ease. Highly recommend Dr Kahn and Dr Gordon for their professional skills and personal and caring attitudes for your situation. What an extraordinary group of people.

Karen Fink: I had a TAVR, March 13, and want to thank my two outstanding nurses. Octavia and Mark. They were so wonderful to me, with constant care. They took such good care of me. Ascension should be proud to have them on your staff. And any patient that is lucky enough to have them care for them, will be in the best hands . I cannot thank them enough

Sami HASBANI: I did have a bypass surgery on November 30th, 2023. My surgeons was so clear and detailed. They make sure I understand what I'm going to go through and the benefits of having the surgery. They did explain everything to me after the surgery and what is the next step after the check out.The nurses atCVICU were amazing and very helpful and caring especially a nurse her name Halemah Ghannam was very caring, knowledgeableand helpful. She did make sure I get the care that I need. She was very responsive and knowing what she is doing. She was awesome and a blessing to me. When they did transfer me to a lower section. I did experience the differences. There was a lack of knowledge and communication with some nurses but they did great job as well. One of the nurses I was very disappointed with it felt like she doesn't want to work. All the other nurses was great and I appreciate them all. The day I was checking out my nurse was awesome as well. She was very caring and very helpfulas well. Thank you all for doing great job and hopefully you will keep improving your services by hiring the great doctors and nurses.

Hilary Basina: I wasnt sleeping! Just trying to cover my eyes from the light and lay my damn head down. Suddenly security was coming towards me and demanded I needed to leave.... they made me feel like I was a homeless BUM trying to stay inside somewhere during a winter storm... thank GOD my ride showed up 1 minutes later since i didn't have a jacket or anything. Yes it was 1 and a half hours but that was out of my control... trust me this was the last place i would want to hang out... any hospital is the last place i want to be. i waited over 2 weeks to even show up here and thats because i literally couldnt BREATHE last night!!!! I dont like hospitals. Period. I was not trying to hang around there. If i wasnt so sick and wasn't a winter storm i would have been ON MY WAY!!!!! Walking around town until transport showed up. They should be more understanding and KNOW that medical transportation is a minimum 2 hour wait. LIKE I wanted to be there that long 🙄 i would have taken an uber home myself if i hadnt just been laid off work. I would have accepted her offer on the ride if I didn't need to pick up medications and didn't already have a ride in route coming to get me... to take me to the pharmacy and home... I really like this hospital
Clarence Schreiber: This is a great place for great care by doctors who care. Thier urgent care is also great. You get seen quickly. Although it will take a while with getting results in so they get take care of you and release you.

Kenneth Brink: Dr. Siverhus and his staff were very good to work with. I had done the shots for a sticky trigger finger for the last year or so. It was finally time for surgery and everything was great. The surgery facility and its staff were better than I could have ever imagined, very modern and uptodate . Everything was done in a timely manner and the entire staff worked together from start to Finnish. I don’t think that I could have had a better procedure than what was done .

Mary: I gave my experience a 4 because, the next day I received a call from the nurse with my lab results. She was very rude. I am being asked to return in 6 months for a diagnosis I don’t even have. I asked her to pass a message to my doctor, rudeness continued. Last year my doctor and and I discussed the reason I was talking this med, she looked back in my chart and saw the reason was different then she thought and also said she would correct it.I asked her to pass the message to my doctors. The nurse replied I could pass it on to the doctor in 6 months. I clearly stated I don’t want the incorrect diagnosis in my chart. I asked her to pass the message to my doctor.I don’t trust she will or did.The transition in the computer system doesn’t seem to capture everything I have been seen for over the past 30 years. I get questions that should be in my history.
Chris Enk Clemins: I've been a patient here for well over 20 years. The provider I choose to see, Sharon Maney, is absolutely wonderful! She doesn't treat people in a "cookie cutter" fashion. She takes whatever time is necessary to get to know you her patients, their health history, and there needs and expectations. She appreciates all of her patients and treats them with dignity, respect, and only the best medical care.The front desk staff, the lab tech and the X-ray tech get to know who you are and are always positive and proactive, especially Julie. She's been there a very long time. Julie goes out of her way to provide only the best customer service.I deeply appreciate the strong doctor-patient relationships that have been built here. They've taken excellent care of me and my health care needs.

The operator referred me to a nurse practitioner, Sharon Maney, at Airport Clinic across town. NP Maney was very personable and helpful. She edified me about my condition, and made me feel better.

Steve Tulogeski: My wife made great progress with her medical issues and physical therapy. Great professional people and quite friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Tom Shanahan: My wife has been at Select for just over a month after suffering complications from open heart surgery. The staff are all very kind and friendly. The nurses are patient, the CNAs work incredibly hard, the therapists are all tough but kind, and the administrators have all been great. My wife has improved dramatically since she arrived and will soon be discharged to the next level of rehabilitation. This facility has been wonderful for her recovery. The staff have cheered her on when she reached milestones, they've supported her when she was feeling hopeless, and they've provided excellent care every step of the way. Everyone I've interacted with, from the CEO, who occasionally roams the halls, to the housekeepers are friendly and invested in the outcomes of their patients. As with any facility, there have been frustrations, but overall, I would highly recommend Select.

Nancy Elizabeth: for 41 days. Was transferred on a Friday from a hospital in an unresponsive condition but upon our visit that following Monday, was changed to being alert and aware! That was a huge, unexpected surprise as we were told from our loved one's prior care team that any chance of responsiveness was low. Only progress was made during the entire stay at SS! No setbacks whatsoever.Aside from a few stragglers, overall, all the staff we came into contact with were respectful, attentive, and friendly. Even the CEO made time to introduce himself to me during his visit to another patient, and welcomed me to contact him directly with any requests or concerns. The nurses and CNAs who took care of our loved one were great. They not only made our loved one feel welcomed and important but also made us family members and visitors feel the same. They always asked if our loved one wanted or needed anything and ensured comfort. Our loved one was uplifted by their presence and enjoyed talking with them. The therapists are amazing, especially Aric, the speech therapist. Our loved one really enjoyed working with Aric-- he constantly was giving suggestions and encouragement on how to get better with each session. Annette, the case manager is great also. She is warm and friendly, addressed all concerns and was timely in her responses.The only issues we ran into and complaints we have

Katie Hughes: My mom spent several weeks here. Overall it was a good experience. She progressed quickly thanks to the great PT, OT and Speech therapists. The nursing staff was knowledgeable. The CNA staff took care of her many needs. The doctors were diligent to check on her regularly. They did good to make sure my mom was helped in every way and ready to move to the next facility for her care. I recommend going through the paperwork to verify the accuracy at the time of discharge. There was old information from entering the facility that was still on the paperwork at discharge and we didn't catch it until arriving at the new facility so we had some sorting to do. That was a minor issue though, I realize there is a ton of paperwork that gets written and it wasn't a huge problem, just caused some confusion at the next facility. I still highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital West Allis to anyone needing this level of care. As a visitor I always felt safe and welcomed there. The staff was very kind to me and happy to answer my many questions. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I was also able to bring in my own food and microwave it in the vending area.

Special nurses: Michelle, Marena and Sarah,,special aide: Diane. All staff friendly and willing to help.Great PT and OT . My mobility has improved since being here.

Shirley has been especially helpful ... often returning to give my wife additional PT on days when she had a little down time between scheduled sessions.
Randi Olson: I had covid and other health problems and I am on a ventilator. The team here at Select has been good with handling the complications that have popped up the respiratory team is amazing and very caring they helped make a scary situation less scary Joe and Mary are outstanding caregivers.Aric in speech is a very warm and caring person he really takes the time to explain things. Marisa is a fantastic nurse. The only down side is they are under staffed and that can at times effective the level of care but not enough to put anyone in danger just a little in convenient. Overall I am have a good experience here.
