Medical College of Wisconsin: what do users think?

Shah Fahad: Hello Sir

Kael Kaels: My Hospital!

Joshua-Matthew “All Authority” Giese: Donated blood with Versiti Blood Center staff was super friendly and at least now these annoying people won't be able to find me because my blood will be in more than one person an yes that is literally how I thought about it might sound wierd but when every damn person online asks you "can I have $150' 'are you here are you there' it gets darn annoying

Jessica Simonson: I go here about once a year now down from 6 times a year.

Keith Woeltje: Excellent medical school

James Uzziah Hammond: . Nice little restaurant in the "HUB" section with plenty of open area seating. Great for studying or grabbing a quick cup of coffee. Excellent meeting rooms with the latest communication and audiovisual equipment. If you found this review helpful, please leave a 👍. Thanks!

Asher Heimermann: MCW Public Safety was wonderful and professional to work with. They went above and beyond to assist me.

IT Computer Support Specialist (MATC West Allis Associate Degree and Technical Diploma Program): what do users think?

Caleb Reiss: I love working with computers and I've always wanted to make that a career that I can do. I have a strong passion for helping people and this program will help me achieve that goal. There is lots of jobs in IT around the Milwaukee area making a solid choice of program.I am currently a student at MATC and what I can say from personal experience is that I love the experience at MATC and the IT Support Specialist program how flexible the teachers and the cost is a major benefit compared to other simmer programs offered by other Milwaukee schools it’s a very affordable option to get a higher education.I chose this path because it lined up very well with my future ambitions and goals and was the best option for affordable schooling in the area.I’ve been taught so many different aspects of IT in a very digestible way and you can go at your pace so you can work while you’re going to school and eventually, you can even work in the industry while still getting your degree with the apprenticeships available, many MKE companies look for MATC students to work at their jobs.I love to have hands-on experience and get to experience, and I get to do that at MATC they offer many courses that have many in-class hands-on activities that can help better prepare you for the futureThe parking given you have the MATC parking pass is good for the west Allis location where I do most of my in-person classesIf you want to make a difference in your life and be successful, then MATC is the best place to do it and it will teach you how to be successful and how to be a IT professional in no time

Aisha Harris: I enjoy what I have learned in the IT Support Specialist program. I chose this program because I wanted to learn the basics before I choose a more fitting career in IT. I selected MATC for my IT Support program because my dad earned a lot of his IT certifications from MATC. Some of the different aspects I like about the program are the resources available to achieve your goal to almost guarantee your success in the field. The instructors are very knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding. The accommodations at the West Allis Campus are very flexible so you can attend classes online or in-person or both. This flexibility is fantastic if you have small children, a full-time job, prior commitments that interfere with your class schedule, a disability, etc. For my fellow future students, there is no excuse to not increase your knowledge with MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program. See you soon!!

When you are put in teams at your job, and each person will be helping each other to assist the public is another reason i like the programs. Helping people is our number one goal. One thing thing I like is that this program at MATC has the hands-on approach to learning and it office real-world experiences that will assist us as students when get to the work place. The program offers a good curriculum to prepare everyone for their for future position in the job market. We will also gain the certification we need to get to the top wages in field.I would advise fellow student to take advantage of the of the re-souces and support services available at MATC to maximizes their learning experience. Stay proactive in seeking opportunities for professional development internships, networking, and professional position so you can keep making good decision.

Diandra Macias: MATC's West Allis IT Support Specialist Instructors are outstanding! They are very knowledgeable and detailed with their lectures. I am currently taking three blended courses and one online, so far it has been great. I was a little skeptical about it at first about having questions or concerns in the moment, but it has been great let me tell you! My instructors are very good at guiding, communicating, appointing you to the information you need, resources on helping you find a job during your education, helping you building professional relationships, tutoring resources, help with homework and always open to questions. They want to make sure you understand and that you succeed in your career path. My experience here has been great at MATC's- West Allis Campus.

taylor Max Tesch: The IT Computer Support Specialist program at MATC is great for setting the foundation of your IT career post education. Personally, I’m a tech motivated individual who likes to work with electronic devices and explores new technologies that why IT Support Specialists Program is a great fit for my ambition. Second there are a lot of job offerings for an IT graduate which making it unavoidable for someone who wants to better himself financially and advance his career. MATC offers varieties of degree programs in different field of studies, but their IT programs are tailored in a way to fit Milwaukee employment market in addition is a two year program, a quick entrance to labour market. Six weeks into the program so far, I won’t say I know much yet but the Microsoft Management Console [MMC] where you will have some of the administrative tools in one place is amazing. West Allis Campus where I take my classes is a nice building, well organized classes and it has easily accessible parking lot for students not to forget the professor is really knowledgeable nice person who’s willing to go above and beyond to share his knowledge and help students succeed in their studies.

Ariana Montoya: I chose to join the Computer Support Specialist program because i have decided to change my career path to something more stable and something that i think i will enjoy. Previously i was enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program which is similar in the way that both these programs teach you the basics of each career in detail and help you be prepared for a job in the future. I chose MATC specifically because it was more cost effective and local to me. I also plan to move on to a 4-year college in the future and the MATC program makes it easier to transfer over to them. In general i like how the classes are structured for the IT Computer Support program where you are half online and in person. After lecture the professor is always available to answer any questions you have which is also nice. Lastly, i would like to share that the West Allis campus is very quiet and has great study areas as i have recently visited one and appreciated the 'cubical like' seating spots that allow you to create a great workspace to concentrate in without any interruptions!

Tyler Pearson: The IT support program offers a lot of opportunities for anyone interested in this field. So far, I have learned how to replace computer parts, how to install windows, phone repair and so much more to come. The program also gave me access to various resources, such as online learning platforms, tutoring services, career services, and student clubs, that enhanced my learning experience and helped me prepare for the workforce.

Jacob Farney: I have recently completed my first semester of the IT Computer Support Specialist program and I am really enjoying it. I have always considered IT as a future career and I'm really happy I choose to attend MATC. I have been around computers my entire life and have always found them extremely interesting. My father is also in IT which has really solidified my interest in the IT field in general. Before choosing MATC, I had been considering an apprenticeship before choosing MATC. I chose the IT Support Specialist program because it gives me flexibility. After graduation, this program allows me to enter any field I am interested in. I am able to go into Networking, Help Desk, Software, etc. From the beginning, I have felt very welcome and respected. I have had good experiences with all of my professors and have had no troubles getting my questions answered. The main appeal to this program in my opinion is the flexibility. To start, this program has been extremely flexible with attendance. I really enjoy the online aspect of this program because it allows you to work wherever you are at any time. The ability to work online if needed is always a benefit. Another great benefit to this program and MATC in general is accommodation support. MATC offers accommodations as well as help to students in need. If you are struggling in a class, tutors are always a click away. I have been very impressed with both the accuracy and timeliness of all my professors. To conclude, I have nothing but good things to say about MATC and the IT Support Specialist program. Before starting, I was pretty nervous about college, however, I have found it very enjoyable. If you are interested in MATC, I would definitely recommend visiting one of the campuses to solidify your plans!

Steven Jaeger: This is my fourth semester at MATC - West Allis Campus. The West Allis campus is close to my home. Evening, hybrid and online classes allow me to pursue my degree while working during the day. Professors have in-person and virtual office hours to assist with questions during the semester.IT Computer Support program prepares me with the hard and soft skills that are in high demand in various IT industries, with the option to go into a variety of IT disciplines. Many of the professors teaching at MATC also teach at UWM and Marquette University.I also appreciate the fact MATC offers a Technical Diploma program. I already have a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field, the Technical Diploma gives me the classes/experience I need to start an IT career. I then have the option to transfer the general ed classes from my bachelor's to obtain an associate degree in IT.

Tyler Glazewski: . MATC provides a fulfilling education that accommodates your real life at a fraction of the cost off a full ride university.

Sanaa Little: Information technology is a wide field that covers many different aspects of technology. I love using my iPad and iPhone and laptop, I want the ability to learn the hardware behind these different devices and also help others who need support with these different technologies. MATC IT Support Program is the first and only I know about that offers a technical diploma, a certificate and an associate's degree. This program will help me reach my goals of being an IT Support Technician and working with many different companies all off of the support of MATC staff and professors. MATC provides hands on support when in the IT Support Program. You have the ability to get help from tutors, use the computer labs to complete work or just practice your skills. MATC also has many scholarships you can apply for if your in need of financial support.

Serve You Rx: what do users think?

Connie Farmer: Using Blink Pharmacy service costs me less than using my prescription drug policy because of the tier level for the generic drug and the deductible. Great service and helpful staff.

DeBra Louise: First class order & delivery by mail.

Felix James: Have to use this mail pharmacy through SmithRx. Serve You Rx is probably the only redeeming quality of SmithRx - I know I can at least get one of their representatives to pick up a phone. Their website is not great, but their service is.

Mary Ellis-Stigler: It's my only experience with mail order meds but they make it easy and are very helpful when you have questions. Thank you!

Leslie Pisula: Customer service is very good & prescriptions are delivered on time

H Zio: I haven't been to the brick-and-mortar store, however their online service is great. Customer service reps helped me set up my account and make sure I get my meds on time. The meds are packaged securely and I have never had a problem with them being damaged in shipping.

UWM School of Continuing Education: what do users think?

Anne Siegel: Osher rocks! In preparation for teaching a Zoom class to elementary school children in French, I contacted one of the Osher members and received some specialized tools for moving forward with my project. Her 'tips' helped me lead the virtual class with a minimal amount of missteps. I gained a lot of confidence after working individually with Laurie, as well as attending her regular Zoom tutorials for all Osher members. Love the variety of programs, too!

Gwen Benner: Osher at UWM has provided a plethora of stimulating programs for lifelong learners in a community of fellow students who have become colleagues and good friends.

Priscilla Camilli: I have enjoyed many Osher courses. I especially have gained insightsfrom Paula Friedman''s book discussions and Kathy Johnson's film analyses and other courses. I have also been happy to teach classes on art history.Osher makes retirement fulfilling!

Sue Burwell: There is such a wonderful variety of courses offered, and a great way to spend time learning, especially when we can't be together in -person.

Marvin Wiener: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is an adult learning extension of UW Milwaukee that has brought learning experiences to many intellectually curious senior citizens in the greater Milwaukee area. It differentiates itself from other adult learning activities by the breadth of topics, the active participation in the organization by over 100 volunteers, the caliber of the presenters, and the continued pursuit of excellence through surveys of members and evaluation of the classes offered. The high caliber of the organization is reflected in its rapid adoption of virtual teaching made necessary by the COVID pandemic. The Institute didn't miss a beat in moving to a virtual platform. It has the technical expertise and member dedication to pull that off almost seamlessly. I'm proud to be a member of an organization that recognize me as an individual and values my input and membership.

Chris Schlosser: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a great way to continue to learn new and interesting things - as well as meet other people. They have done a great job of shifting to all online classes during the pandemic. These classes have been a great way to stay in touch and learn while safer at home.

Cindy Harvey: OSHER Classes have kept me sane during the pandemic!Always something to look forward to. Thank you!

Julie I: For me, one of the best parts of retiring was finally getting to start attending classes with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM, otherwise known to the members of our chapter as Osher. I've enjoyed getting together with others for lectures and classes about literature, history, science, and more. Even now, when our meetings are via Zoom, the learning and sharing continues. But I'll admit, I'm looking forward to the day that we can meet, travel, eat, and learn together in person again.

Geri Halaska: Osher has been a life saver for me. I've enjoyed the many classes that I signed up for and have met many interesting people and made more friends. Can't wait for things to return to "normal".

Kathy O: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is OUSTANDING! It offers classes on History, Literature, Art, and even current events. Zoom classes have been offered since the Pandemic arrived along with many other class options. Osher even offers tech classes to learn how to Zoom with a Tech Support Team to offer personalized assistance. You won't regret your decision to become a member!

Tim Peterson: I have learned so much from this place, nothing else like it in SE Wisconsin!!!

Luther Willems: Great facility and staff to help working adults improve their skills! I've enjoyed the classes I have taken here.

Felicia Wilkins: Very helpful in finding resources

Marvin Pineda: This college expects the best out of you when nNo other reality can accept the worst of you. And I mean this when you find yourself the core curriculums you find yourself to work, you will find the workplace safety becomes pinned between a ladder of a few to honors received by none lest it becomes a receptionist to a catering service. – If you’re looking to be a plumber, here’s where to start, because if I was arguing carpentry over metallurgy in such a calm weathered hallway, you’d be screaming acts of God till the trickle point landed on your face with your belly bestowing all the previous laughter you thought you could manage by yourself. You see, I’d be sitting with the Dean, the Staff of Administration, and an S1185 form wondering whether or not to let a blind man walk out with his cane before I found out who ruined my Mother’s marriage and career progression to her children without blood on my knuckles following WI ST. 118.35, and an Honorable Admission of Servitude seeing as my own efforts will linger the halls into a transferable credit of Guiness World Record Readership to a statement that will leave you to question what the Commissioner is going to say about it. – After all, when school is close by, I’m just looking to form my retirement.Want to challenge that signature? Or leave it in chalk? Lifeless? There’s a little more to me than you knew, and a whole much more I circled around when deciding a chance would be glory.-

Abster Asgard: the field you want to be in. This is one of the best places to go.They have an active news station here that lends out thier studio to MATC and if you take that degree you end will work with people who are actively in the feild. They get you hands on with equipment within the 1st 2 weeks consistently and are very accommodating for accessibility. Half these reviews are reviewing the school as a whole... and you should not go here for a school name you should go here for hands on experience. I will say the school body is unhelpful and if you really want help go through you teachers and program heads.

T3LLA: Great school if you’re ready to buckle down and focus! Universities can have a lot going on and be really distracting, but this school has a balance. There’s definitely fun activities every now and then but when it comes to the academics, they will not leave you hanging either. The classroom sizes are reasonable, giving you the chance to have all of your questions heard and answered.

Alexander Salas: My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. They also work with businesses to help their student get jobs after graduating. I would recommend this program to someone looking to get into IT Support as a career.

Britanni Hildenbrand: I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Future students should also know that credits will transfer to a four year college such as MSOE or UWM.

Kipi Guentner: I've worked here for decades after being a student here myself.
