khaled Alwadi: wonderful

Alan Ingram: As a techie it was only natural that I fall into IT as a career field. I am very glad I chose MATC to help with that goal. The hands on practice, small class size were high on the list - so was the cost. MATC also had something no other school could offer, the vast array of how I could complete my education. As a full time working family man, spending as little time on campus as possible was of utmost importance. But when I need to report to campus, the wide open parking lots at south campus assure me that i wont be circling the block for 30 minutes or comparing parking rates among several parking structures.

Melanie Sedlar: I like IT because it's always changing and growing. I need that type of challenge in my life and in my career. For me, this program was the best option that both fit my work life balance as well as my pocket book. I feel good about participating in a program that I can afford. I chose MATC because I liked the idea of going to college but did not want to take out expensive loans or commit to a rigorous class schedule. I needed something flexible and MATC felt like a good fit. This program has already helped me in so many ways. I love that I am able to learn at my own pace. The campus is very clean and small and it makes going to this campus a lot easier and accessible than going to the downtown campus. I find getting parking in this area is a lot easier than downtown and since the classes are so small, you can really get closer to the students there and the staff/teachers.

Ryan Fields: I am having a good time learning about all things related to the It world, however, I would recommend only doing in-person classes if possible, as it can be hard to effectively learn the required job skills in a online-only environment.

Beth Rubanka: 2Macs, over 50 PCs, 2 quiet study booths with new laptops available for student use. Very friendly staff.

Layla Almosawi: Helpful 👌👌👌

I would tell a prospective student that this program does an excellent job of preparing you for the real world of IT computer support work & taking the required computer support certification tests like the comptia tests from amongst others. Note the south campus is very ergonomically friendly and easy to navigate. It is very easy to navigate the campus.

UWM School of Continuing Education: what do users think?

Anne Siegel: Osher rocks! In preparation for teaching a Zoom class to elementary school children in French, I contacted one of the Osher members and received some specialized tools for moving forward with my project. Her 'tips' helped me lead the virtual class with a minimal amount of missteps. I gained a lot of confidence after working individually with Laurie, as well as attending her regular Zoom tutorials for all Osher members. Love the variety of programs, too!

Gwen Benner: Osher at UWM has provided a plethora of stimulating programs for lifelong learners in a community of fellow students who have become colleagues and good friends.

Priscilla Camilli: I have enjoyed many Osher courses. I especially have gained insightsfrom Paula Friedman''s book discussions and Kathy Johnson's film analyses and other courses. I have also been happy to teach classes on art history.Osher makes retirement fulfilling!

Sue Burwell: There is such a wonderful variety of courses offered, and a great way to spend time learning, especially when we can't be together in -person.

Marvin Wiener: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is an adult learning extension of UW Milwaukee that has brought learning experiences to many intellectually curious senior citizens in the greater Milwaukee area. It differentiates itself from other adult learning activities by the breadth of topics, the active participation in the organization by over 100 volunteers, the caliber of the presenters, and the continued pursuit of excellence through surveys of members and evaluation of the classes offered. The high caliber of the organization is reflected in its rapid adoption of virtual teaching made necessary by the COVID pandemic. The Institute didn't miss a beat in moving to a virtual platform. It has the technical expertise and member dedication to pull that off almost seamlessly. I'm proud to be a member of an organization that recognize me as an individual and values my input and membership.

Chris Schlosser: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a great way to continue to learn new and interesting things - as well as meet other people. They have done a great job of shifting to all online classes during the pandemic. These classes have been a great way to stay in touch and learn while safer at home.

Cindy Harvey: OSHER Classes have kept me sane during the pandemic!Always something to look forward to. Thank you!

Julie I: For me, one of the best parts of retiring was finally getting to start attending classes with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM, otherwise known to the members of our chapter as Osher. I've enjoyed getting together with others for lectures and classes about literature, history, science, and more. Even now, when our meetings are via Zoom, the learning and sharing continues. But I'll admit, I'm looking forward to the day that we can meet, travel, eat, and learn together in person again.

Geri Halaska: Osher has been a life saver for me. I've enjoyed the many classes that I signed up for and have met many interesting people and made more friends. Can't wait for things to return to "normal".

Kathy O: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is OUSTANDING! It offers classes on History, Literature, Art, and even current events. Zoom classes have been offered since the Pandemic arrived along with many other class options. Osher even offers tech classes to learn how to Zoom with a Tech Support Team to offer personalized assistance. You won't regret your decision to become a member!

Tim Peterson: I have learned so much from this place, nothing else like it in SE Wisconsin!!!

Luther Willems: Great facility and staff to help working adults improve their skills! I've enjoyed the classes I have taken here.

Milwaukee Area Technical College Mequon Campus: what do users think?

Dave Anderson: Overall good school. Clean, organized, good academic programs and support from professors and most of the staff.

Nicole Swiatkowski: I am rating it 4 stars because they lose one due to some internal issues I have had with them. In the bigger picture though the staff I have worked with directly, either through my program or navigating other things, has been absolutely amazing to me.

CoCo Kennedy: Very friendly staff

Chee Yang: I chose this degree, because I like the idea of being able to stay with technology as it grows. Seems that if you are not tech ready, you may not survive in the net generation to come. Kids use all type of technical devices, so I want to make sure I can keep up with them and the world.I selected the program because MATC provides an array of options and it is affordable. Credits are transferrable and saves a few dollars for the pocket. There are many surrounding business that hire students from MATC and are just as competitive as any other student and schools.I am taking an online course and the classes are offered throughout the day and not just a certain time of the day, going online provides flexibility for someone like myself who works and has a busy active family. If you are looking for a school that allows you to be study on your own time and continue your every day activities, MATC offers a great program and study options.I really like that the curriculum and professors take the time to teach students, even providing hands on you tube videos and videos. Every step is walked through and it is available to re-watch if we struggle.

Shaina Franzen: Beautiful Campus!!

Gamer 4 Christ: Love the classes here!

Sahara Adams: Staff are very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. Also a very clean facility.

River Run: what do users think?

Dan Murphy: First off, Ian was friendly, pleasant, relatable, and patient with me. This is always nice when you're dealing with technical issues.Second, he answered all of my questions, both related to the direct issue, as well as tangential/unrelated tech questions, to help fill the time while he was troubleshooting and working on the fix.Third, he fully resolved the ticket issue I entered and helped me ensure I didn't have to submit a different/new ticket for a related matter, before exiting the call.Courteous and engaging throughout. Great job and thank you, Ian.

Jim Tweedy: Renee is the best - fixed my problem on weekend within 12 hours of being notified of the issue!

Tim Pierce: Happy with the service and the staff. Friendly and responsive.

Gary Campbell: It's always a pleasure working with Abe at Riverrun Computers. He consistently impresses with his deep knowledge and attention to detail. Every interaction with him is a positive experience, highlighting his expertise and dedication.

Laura Parrino: Tech support was super - she was patient, fun and didn't laugh at me or become condescending when the reason for my meltdown was that my laptop had become unplugged and the battery ran out. 5 minutes before a scheduled class to teach. Sheesh. She made my day. Thanks!

John Palazzolo: Quick response times and gets it right the first time!!

My system has been working flawlessly since, and I am very pleased with the expertize that these technicians have and utilized to get my system back on track.

Ron Backhaus: Ian called and took care of my computer issues. He modified the login process so that we could bypass other issues which were plaguing my system constantly. In other issues which came up today, Shawn was a life saver to get me back in the game quickly. Both technicians were highly professional and made things easy for even a baby boomer such as myself. Our company uses River Rock and would highly recommend them to anyone with IT needs.

ManagePoint: what do users think?

Thomas D'Amico: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueContracting with ManagePoint has made my life so much easier. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. This has allowed me to focus on things I do best, versus worrying about computers and network issues. ManagePoint has been a huge reduction in my stress level.

Mathieu Manaigre: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessManagePoint is a fantastic organization with a top-notch staff and customer support. Working with David and his team over the last couple of years has been positive and enlightening. Highly recommended.

Peter Gonzalez: ManagePoint provides phenomenal service. They are not only a great IT solutions company, but their team will ensure all of your needs are met specific to you. I highly recommend this company!

Julie Guenterberg: 6 years ago, we have depended upon the experts at ManagePoint to offer prompt response to critical issues, and to work with us to schedule others. They always do a thorough job, and provide proposals that are a practical fit for our company. They don’t ask us to “upgrade to see if that fixes the problem” because they already know if it will! They manage high level areas of our network, servers, and security, and have educated us during new implementations so we can do many things on our own. I’ve compared their services to several other IT providers, and no one has come close to ManagePoint, so we’re staying with them – I always feel like I’m their favorite customer!

Terri Torbeck: Couldn’t ask for a better partner! ManagePoint has been our IT Support Company for the last two years. I’ve managed IT in several smaller non-profit organizations, not as a sole responsibility, but concurrently with others, HR/IT/Administrative Services, etc. and have worked with several IT consulting firms. I’ve been through hardware, software, and data conversions and since the first, dreaded every one.Contracting with ManagePoint has been the best possible decision. Their team flawlessly handled every aspect of the transition to their service. Our super-tech, Jim, uncovered and repaired an unimaginable number of issues prior to the change. Cutover day came and went and not a single person noticed other than to say, “the network seems faster today.”While our aging hardware and network infrastructure have challenged the ManagePoint team on many occasions, Dave, Jim, Greg, and Ann always find the answers. We are confident they negotiate the best prices for us and work hard to stay within the stringent budget of our nonprofit. Several major hardware upgrades are on the horizon, but notice I didn’t say loom, because I’m confident this one will go smoothly and afterward employees will say, “someone super-charged my computer. What happened?” ManagePoint, that’s what!

Joseph Grosskopf: Managepoint is not your typical IT consulting company. David and the rest of his staff are genuinely concerned about fixing our company's IT problems and proactively keeping everything running smoothly. They have also brought many innovative ideas to the table and have executed the projects we chose to perfection.

Josh Wilson: David and his team are very responsive and resolve our issues in a timely matter. We have been utilizing their managed service program for 3 years now and get satisfaction knowing we are in good hands from an IT perspective. My company originally engaged ManagePoint to help with a server install for a new ERP software, whom was referred to us by our ERP consultant. We had a such a great experience with their expertise and guidance on the install that we decided to switch from our current 3rd party provider to ManagePoint. They have truly transitioned our network infrastructure into a world class environment.

Brian Bauer: Highly recommend them for you IT needs.

Rely On IT: If you are looking for IT services do yourself a favor and meet with ManagePoint. Friendly, competent, with clear direction on our IT focus for the business. Highly Recommended!

Angela: ManagePoint has been a life saver! David and his team are amazing. They came in and did an assessment of our network and found vulnerabilities that I didn't even know about. ManagePoint tailored a package to our needs and manages our network to make sure everything is in order. I don't know what I would do without ManagePoint!

James Kernan: ManagePoint is one of the best IT services firms I've worked with. Their team is experienced, professional and quick to respond. Highly recommend them!

Rob Traub: I called Manage Point on Monday with many other companies. They were not the first to call back. As I needed someone right away, I accepted another companies help. What a mistake. I had the individual come and he was here for almost two hours with no luck on figuring my problem out. At the end , the individual told me that the printer was not compatible with Windows 8. After he left, I couldn't even print using the printer, which at least was working before. Manage Point contacted me later that day and came out on Weds, Mike Cain remotely accessed my computer and with some digging got me all situated with scanning to my email and answering all my questions. Thank you so much. He even gave me a start button for windows 8, and if any of you know windows 8, it is not fun without it. Thanks again. I will definately be using them again and you should too.
