Tomm Becker: We started using Direct Drive Logistics about a year ago, and have been shipping with them almost weekly, sometimes multiple loads in one day -- flatbed hotshots all over the country for our small greenhouse manufacturing company. Our build crews often need to meet materials at delivery locations, so timing and dependability is everything. Chris at DDL has come through for us time and time again.Chris has been honest, straightforward, and transparent in all of our dealings. He has even come back and lowered his rate a few times because he was able to book a load cheaper than expected. I doubt if he's rock-bottom cheapest, but I care about the quality and dependability of service more than saving a few bucks. DDL is making things possible for our business that otherwise wouldn't be.Freight brokerage seems like a tricky business, but I couldn't hope for a more dependable partner. If they’re running late they keep you posted and if they’re running late, it’s because they’re being careful with someone else’s property. I’ve used several other well known companies to move items in and out of my home only to end up with damaged walls. Three calls, three moves, no damage to date by these guys. These guys are good, they charge you by the job not the time, so they’re not billing you for time on their cell phones like some of these companies out here that use these young guys. Great company.

I had set up the return time as 3pm, and asked if I could have one more hour, and she didn’t hesitate and told me I could get the truck until 7pm, free of charge!!
