Lillian Lers: I have a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist and was referred to the university for a root canal so I was extra anxious about that. And trust I've heard tons of horror stories but everyone there was super reassuring when I brought up these concerns. Because my insurance needed to approve the root canal still, and I had expressed I'd been prescribed lots of antibiotics for the infection, and that I currently had swelling because of the tooth, Dr. Yu preformed a treatment that still gave me relief so I didn't feel like I came for nothing. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire thing mentally and physically, and continued to check in just to ensure I was okay. They were even cracking jokes to make me not so scared and it definitely helped by the time they were done I was able to completely calm down and I wasn't scared to book my next appointment to finish the root canal. Some of the bad reviews scared me but they're all very knowledgeable and compassionate.
Don Shilo: If you getting treatment here you know since day 1 that this is a commitment this is not a in and out thing. I been here for 5 months and everything is been over the top the attention, communication, and the most affordable prices I put my self on the students hands since the beginning told her I would do anything she recommended and she is been awesome! If you go here remember it will take time but in the end you will get the best work done because no one here gets paid to do the work so it will be done right !

This is a wonderful opportunity for many people who otherwise wouldn't have had any options and has helped countless already

Bridget Cochenet: I called about 40 dentists that wouldn’t remove a Nasopalatine cyst which was causing daily headaches. That was until I called Marquette U. School of Dentistry and found out that it would be done by the teachers! Right away I felt I was in great hands and this was not all that unusual. Both Dr. Rawal and his surgeon Dr. Rawal took excellent care of me throughout the entire process. The surgeon gave outstanding follow up care which made me feel better. They explained everything clearly and thoroughly. My insurance didn’t cover this procedure and I’m so grateful that this didn’t cost as much as a new car would have. I absolutely recommend this school of Dentistry for Any of your needs. I would definitely come back. 10 stars if I could. PS my headaches are gone.

Danielle Fennessy: I completed the dental assistant program at Milwaukee Career College. It is a very hands on, fast paced program, that prepares you for a job in the dental field right after completing the program. The program chair, Mrs. Maria, is very knowledgeable and knows everything you need to know about the dental field. She is a very helpful resource and instructor that is always there to answer any questions you might have about anything and is always there to help you out with things you might not understand. Career Services also a very good resource, they assist you in writing your resume and prepare you for interviews. Milwaukee Career College really sets you up for success upon finishing the program.
Jesse Frith: Can I just point out that half of the people on here that are complaining about the school can't even be bothered to spell correctly... Maybe that shows what kind of student they were. It's an accelerated course system. One day = one to two weeks. Suck it up buttercup or at least read what you got yourself into.

But, during the pandemic I ended up going to other dentists because of my insurance plan, that was a mistake. Mike and his staff care about patients and spend time explaining what is going on with your situation. I am glad I returned, they were able to pinpoint issues the others got wrong. Highly recommend.

Sory Marocchi: Dewan Mental Wellness is not a typo but rather my nickname for this medical practice. I love being treated as a whole person, rather than a mouth separated from its body as is too often the case at doctors' offices.Having studied art, I try to arrive early, allowing a few moments to admire & enjoy the placement and choice of individual art pieces. Patients are treated according to individual needs rather than financial constraints laid down by insurance companies. Individualized attention & much friendliness, combined with skilled treatment put me very much at ease.Unless you have to take the elevator, I advise using the stairs as there is a wonderful treat on the landing.
Nate Ziegler: They are out of my insurance network but I’d rather pay for quality then just get a good deal anywhere. Friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this place to everyone! I’ve been to a lot of dentists and would rather pay twice as much as what they charge, then go to a place that doesn’t provide the same level of service. Trust me it’s worth it. If you care about your health, and see having a nice smile as an investment, this is the place to go!
Neal Pritchett: that the process would take two hours.The shot for numbing did not hurt, nor did most of the dental work. There were a couple of very brief instances where I felt a stab of pain, but they were very brief, and nothing when you consider that this was a very intrusive procedure - a root canal. I notice that a white filling was used instead of the cheaper mercury amalgams that I am used to. It was an interesting process, while they used the filling, and then cured it.I was warned that my mouth would be sore, and was advised that Advil might help. I noticed little pain though. My tooth felt like an itch that I could not scratch. The discomfort lasted for a day and a half, and is now gone.One thing that I noticed from other reviews is that this practice is out of network. What this means depends upon your insurance. For me, it meant a copay and less than 100% payment from the insurer. I ended up paying less than $350 - for a two hour root canal procedure. I don't consider that terrible.In network dentists must abide by standards and cost cutting measures of the insurer, which often means getting treatment that may not be ideal. As an example, an in network dentist would have been more likely to use a mercury amalgam filling. An in network dentist may have done an extraction instead of a root canal. You never know. Insurance can tie the hands of a doctor or dentist, and I don't mind paying a bit more for better treatment.
Jay Autumn: Literally, one of the nicest dental offices you will ever visit. A lot of time and effort went into ensuring the patient has a comfortable experience. All of the staff there are very nice people, all with great social skills and good senses of humor, very chatty and not afraid to talk to you like a friend. Both dentists, Dr. DeWan, and Dr. Pelz are both super nice people, and very easy to talk to. At the end of the day I chose another dental practice that is closer to me and is just a better fit for me personally. Would I recommend DeWan? Yes, I absolutely would!

DR SHANDOWLYON REAVES: Three weeks ago, I needed to see a dentist about a very loose tooth. I was fortunate to get in the next day. They conducted a x-ray, provided a diagnosis, issued a prescription for antibiotics, and referred me to Oral Surgery in Waukesha. I followed up two weeks later with Dr Winters to check on the hearing from the extraction. Considering that he is booked out for months, I am appreciative for his willingness to care for my dental health during an emergency, as a private pay patient.
Vanessa Jackson: I believe I seen Dr. Winter; He is everything you would want in a dentist. I was concerned about a bridge another dentist put it. He actually looked at my teeth, he wasn’t rude, or judge mental, and gave me really good advice. I think he truly cares about his patients.
