People sometimes have items stolen from cars at area dog parks including Granville, Muttland Meadows and Katherine Kearney Carpenter dog park. Thieves take items including credit cards and VERY quickly start using them.HIDE VALUABLES + LOCK YOUR CAR - and tell others to do the same! If everyone does this thieves will stop targeting areas like this.
Steve Bertman: Great dog park for dogs to get a natural experience. Rolling hills and woods and the river, endless stuff for doggo to explore. Wear your mud shoes if you come here and walk the trails, especially after rain. Be respectful and pick up all trash, human and dog! Jim Pfarr: We've been going to this park on and off for 6 years and really enjoy it. Lots of trails and hills, perfect for an active dog to run around and get exercise. It can get muddy, and the area by the creek will tend to be swampy, but our dog loves to get in the water and we enjoy the seats and shade. Beware of ticks in the spring, and mosquitoes as expected through the warm months. Please support the park and pay your entry fee or become a member.

Amy: Very Clean, Well Managed & Very Secure Place for Camper Parking for Over Night or Long Term!! Showers & Restrooms are Very Clean!! BUT the LAUNDRY MACHINES are DISGUSTING & Smell Awful!! Machines are Owned & Poorly Maintained by a Company, Not the State Park. Machines are Very Low to the Ground Which Makes it Hard if You're Disabled Too. Laundry Room itself is Kept Clean.
Leslie Popp: A man by the name Frank Dean left a bad review on this place, I know for a fact he is lying, he left the remarks millwalkee was a democratic communist city, right there tells you what kind of person he is. This RV park is great, stayed here many times.

Michael Miller: Location. Location. Location. This site is only 5 miles from downtown Milwaukee. If this were any other RV park, they would probably charge $75 for such a prime location. With that in mind, the price is about as fair as could be hoped for.That said it's a parking lot with little else to offer. Unfortunately the full hook-up sites were all booked and I was stuck with a 30-amp site with no water or sewer. What's worse is: Those sites are really crammed together. If you can, don't try to save money here. Go for the full hookup site, where there is a lot more room. If it weren't for the prime location, this park would otherwise be a 3-star.
wheresbat (Bat): All the facilities you need, no frills. A downtown Milwaukee place to camp, at a reasonable price. Don't expect a resort. The staff are friendly and helpful, you will get anything you need. Will stay here again.

Brenden Tryon: Very friendly place I've only had one time where there was a "frustrating" person and I've been coming here weekly for the past year, everyone is friendly and kind most dogs are well behaved and there owners keep watch pretty kid friendly crowd never seen someone who looked or acted sketchy 10/10 would recommend!

Karl Schroepfer: Great park for dogs. You can see the whole park despite its size which is nice. You do need to keep an eye out because not every dog that comes to the park has the right temperament for the dog park but incidents are rare and quickly resolved. Make sure to bring a jug of water as there is no public water source.
Leah Burg: Great lil dog park. Two fenced in sides: big dogs & small dogs. Usually in the early morning people bring their dogs 12 mos and younger. Mid-day "teen" dogs & older dogs. Haven't encountered overly aggressive or nasty dogs here, but some play rough. I like it here bc my dog is a bit rowdy, but the owners of the other dogs don't seem to mind like Roverwest. They understand "dog play" better here. Nice to see the same faces and dogs everyday.
Calvin D: My dog and I are here very often, he is a puppy and likes to run so our condo isn't great for that. The dogs are generally playful with attentive owners. So whether your dog is a wrestler, runner or just like hanging out, I'm sure they'll enjoy their time here.

Wesam: Love this park. Stays pretty clean year round because of the wood chips they lay down. Dogs are friendly, and the owners are super nice. Highly recommended for your pup.

Ashley Hubal: Was a good time for our pooch who loves meeting other dogs. Would not recommend bringing your dog there if they don’t get along with other dogs or children. This one guy was there and let me know his dog didn’t like children, ok no problem keep your dog away from my kids. Just minutes as we were leaving the dog attacks another dog 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. Don’t make people deal with your dog who has issues. Thanks.

Paul Skorcz: What an incredible dog park. Started going last year when Currie closed for repairs. Such a heartache to hear Runway will close. In these trying times such a loss somewhere so peaceful and beautiful will not exist any longer.

Stacie Coleman: Chaz is one of a kind. You won’t find another dog trainer like him. One of the best things about him is that he’s super passionate about what he does. We brought our 2 dogs in because one of them, our blue Heeler puppy, had started biting and becoming aggressive due to his protective nature.By the time our sessions were through Gibbs was no longer anxious around other people and was obeying our commands even better than our other dog.The training isn’t for the dogs, it’s really for the owners. And now our family is confident we can take Gibbs with us without worrying about him since we now know what to do. So glad we didn’t waste more money on another trainer.Thanks for everything Chaz!!!

We’ve been able to feel more comfortable with our dogs, their behavior has improved tremendously and he gave us the tools we need to be able to control our dogs in all environments. Erick Wyszkowski: Chaz's methods are different from the trainers we went to for our previous dogs. The one on one training time is very valuable and he trains the handler as well as the dog. My puppy is only 9 months old and has exceeded the expectations I had for him and is head and shoulders better than my previous dogs. I initially reached out to Chaz because I wanted to train my dog for scent work for hunting and he customized the training program for my needs and my dog is doing great!

My dog is a completely different from the dog that we brought to Chaz 2 months ago. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

After our first class we saw a change in him immediately. The trainer Chas is very knowledgeable, patient, passionate and lots of fun. After only 6 of our 11 50-minute private classes our Benny is a new dog, he is now non-reactive, obedient, not anxious and an absolute pleasure to walk. If you are looking for a life changing trainer Chas is it. I cannot recommend him enough. I cannot end this review without a shout out to Pazazz, Chas's cute, fluffy assistant trainer.PS - we had taken Benny to another local trainer who actually called him an idiot and said he couldn't be trained, don't waste your money with inadequate trainers and go straight to Dogs Best Friend.

Terry: Sanctuary Woods - Nice trails and informative signs about the "ruins" that are in the woods. Lots of dogs off-leash. Great for a walk on a beautiful day.Restrooms: No restrooms but City Market is at the edge of the park.

Stanley Johnson: Great place to walk and run. There are wooded paths to explore and paths around two storm water basins. Total distance around the basins is about two miles. Many people bring their dogs there...most of whom keep them leashed. There are three-season rest rooms at Hanson Park Golf Course lodge.

Kori Schneider Peragine: I'm a regular on the trail in all seasons. It's a great asset marrying a natural river and industrial land.
Michael Hunter: A surprising space in the city. Nice for strolling and jogging.
Ras Maurice McCutcheon: Part of the hank aaron state trail. A beautiful trail that is being maintained by the urban ecology center and good Samaritans. Love to live by here to have a perfect place to exercise.

Lucy McChesney: What a cute park on the south side of Milwaukee! There are a few trails to walk on, and I feel like it is a hidden gem of Milwaukee. People can walk, use their bikes, and even take their dogs there as well! There is a bridge that gives you a great view of the Milwaukee skyline as well which is beautiful during sunset!
