Ashley Hubal: Was a good time for our pooch who loves meeting other dogs. Would not recommend bringing your dog there if they don’t get along with other dogs or children. This one guy was there and let me know his dog didn’t like children, ok no problem keep your dog away from my kids. Just minutes as we were leaving the dog attacks another dog 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. Don’t make people deal with your dog who has issues. Thanks.

People sometimes have items stolen from cars at area dog parks including Granville, Muttland Meadows and Katherine Kearney Carpenter dog park. Thieves take items including credit cards and VERY quickly start using them.HIDE VALUABLES + LOCK YOUR CAR - and tell others to do the same! If everyone does this thieves will stop targeting areas like this.
Steve Bertman: Great dog park for dogs to get a natural experience. Rolling hills and woods and the river, endless stuff for doggo to explore. Wear your mud shoes if you come here and walk the trails, especially after rain. Be respectful and pick up all trash, human and dog! Jim Pfarr: We've been going to this park on and off for 6 years and really enjoy it. Lots of trails and hills, perfect for an active dog to run around and get exercise. It can get muddy, and the area by the creek will tend to be swampy, but our dog loves to get in the water and we enjoy the seats and shade. Beware of ticks in the spring, and mosquitoes as expected through the warm months. Please support the park and pay your entry fee or become a member.

Paul Skorcz: What an incredible dog park. Started going last year when Currie closed for repairs. Such a heartache to hear Runway will close. In these trying times such a loss somewhere so peaceful and beautiful will not exist any longer.

Brenden Tryon: Very friendly place I've only had one time where there was a "frustrating" person and I've been coming here weekly for the past year, everyone is friendly and kind most dogs are well behaved and there owners keep watch pretty kid friendly crowd never seen someone who looked or acted sketchy 10/10 would recommend!

Karl Schroepfer: Great park for dogs. You can see the whole park despite its size which is nice. You do need to keep an eye out because not every dog that comes to the park has the right temperament for the dog park but incidents are rare and quickly resolved. Make sure to bring a jug of water as there is no public water source.
Leah Burg: Great lil dog park. Two fenced in sides: big dogs & small dogs. Usually in the early morning people bring their dogs 12 mos and younger. Mid-day "teen" dogs & older dogs. Haven't encountered overly aggressive or nasty dogs here, but some play rough. I like it here bc my dog is a bit rowdy, but the owners of the other dogs don't seem to mind like Roverwest. They understand "dog play" better here. Nice to see the same faces and dogs everyday.
Calvin D: My dog and I are here very often, he is a puppy and likes to run so our condo isn't great for that. The dogs are generally playful with attentive owners. So whether your dog is a wrestler, runner or just like hanging out, I'm sure they'll enjoy their time here.

H Zio: Best dog park in the area. Very large, fenced in space with both wooded and grassy play areas. There are benches and water bowls. Bring your own water. Not a lot of parking.

My dogs definitely love going to this dog park! In the summer there are a lot more dogs to play with, but even in the winter it's a nice place to take them to burn some energy. Everyone is very kind! I have never had any issues with aggressive dogs. There is a nice field the dogs can run in, and then there is a wooded area that you can walk in. It is definitely not the biggest dog park, but it does do the job!

Evan Calfee (CX4iLLY): My partner and I take our dog here at least once a week. It is well kept, safe, and spacious.Leashes: Although the sign says leashes are required, please be advised that most people do not leash their dogs while using this park. This does nothing bother us, but if you have a reactive dog, please be aware of this, and don't be afraid to ask people to follow the rules and leash their dogs if necessary.Atmosphere: The space is set away from the main roads and lined by three streets and one row of townhouses. There are trees throughout the park and tables with chess boards, but you must bring your own playing pieces. The park gets VERY muddy after rain, so be ready to give your dog a wash afterward.Dog Waste: There are dog waste bags provided on both ends, and people do clean up after their dogs from what we have noticed.We love this park and encourage others to go there. If you are looking to socialize your dog, this is not the park for you, though. It is usually empty, and people prefer to keep their dogs separate from others. Have fun!!
M JOHNSTON: Nice park and dog friendly but not a dog park. Open gates and dogs must be leashed. Very friendly people there though, give lots of pets!

David Poynter: Not a dog park as an FYI, but it IS a nice little park that lots of people like to bring their dogs to. It is a quiet and a nice place to unwind!But yeah, wanted to try and help clear up expectations. Park does not deserve a 1 star just because you incorrectly thought it was a dog park and it wasn't. Haha

I had hoped it had a visitors booth and restrooms, if they are here I didn't find them. Someone should clear the signage by the children's area. So we can read the information

Elena Sorokina: Nice trails. Well groomed even in the February. Pleasant walk and we were feeling safe while walking there. The trails on the west bank were sometimes slippery-wear good shoes and not take Granny along.

Otherwise, there’s paid parking both to the N of the Veterans museum and adjacent to Discovery World.
