Sonji Hunt: Wonderful place to give your dog a bath. We use the self bath for our big boy every other week. It's his spa treatment. All supplies are right there. The tubs are roomy and it's so much more convenient and comfortable than struggling in the bathroom at home. Plus, I don't have to clean up. Friendly, kind and helpful staff. We love it.

I was lucky to get the chance to have her groomed at Embark. At previous groomers, she’d be scared after coming home, or worse, have a bloody nick or two on her skin. This has never happened at Embark. She always walks away like a newly born diva. Because of my personal disabilities and circumstances, I have brought her here at times in uncomfortable shape. Lots of matting. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets, and plan on bringing my newly adopted Chow here.Thank you Embark.

She has given him not only excellent grooming, but she has respected him and never pet shamed. Dani is just fabulous! We are so grateful to have Embark so close to home!

Sandy Schmidt: Happy Paws is the best daycare, boarding, and grooming spot that we've found! We've had dogs for 30 years, and I wouldn't hesitate at all in bringing my dogs in. When we were out of town for 7 days, we were sent photos of our boy having fun playing with his doggie friends. We especially appreciate the understanding and knowledge that the staff has for our dogs. They keep them safe and active. After a day a Happy Paws, my dogs are pooped from all the fun that they've had. I couldn't recommend them higher!

She is the sweetest though!We took her to Community Bark Dog Wash where we were greeted by the nicest front desk associate. She took to our Hannah immediately and saw the intense matting that she had. She got a colleague who also came-out and was awesome.They explained that we shouldn't bath her because the matts would get tighter and worse to deal with and explained they'd reccomend us finding a groomer we could get her into right away. They were busy and currently not taking big dogs.We found a place to get her into today and will certainly be bringing her and our other two dogs here in the future.Outstanding service. Rock on ladies!

roxana G: due to bad service and behavior changes in Zak…… I can tell bay view bark cares as they made sure to give me a virtual tour of the facility with the option to attend an open house, they made sure they over communicated with me to assure me all the care and training pups get before I enrolled Zak…... And since the switch I can see a drastic change in Zak’s behavior. He is much more brave, confident, and at ease when home. Zak is given his treats, lots of love, and lunch packed by us daily. Joe Boring: Took the basic elementary training course here and it was great. Julia did a fantastic job walking us through all the lessons to help correct our dogs behavior and helped explain what a dog is thinking to stop unknown bad habits we were doing. Definitely worth it.

Nick Wolf: I brought my dog in to see if he might like playing with other dogs. The staff were so incredibly welcoming, inviting, and kind. It turns out that large play groups are just a bit too much for my dog, and Central Bark did a behavioral assessment to learn this. They are so professional and accommodating. In fact, they somehow manage to clip my dog's nails where even my vet has problems. Central Bark on 1st Street is a great place I would recommend.

Monica Keith: Our mini Goldendoodle went to Central Bark downtown during the summer and we absolutely loved the experience. He always run right into the place when we take him there and was bubbly and happy when we picked him up. He also did a couple of one-night boarding and when we picked him up he was the same happy puppy as always and had eaten well. We’ll be coming back.We also used grooming. They cut his nails quite well and did his first face haircut when he was about 4 months old. I’m attaching the picture of how he looked after. Cutting the hair of such young puppy and specially a Doodle mix I know is hard so we were very happy with the results.

Ana helped me pick out a food that works well for my puppy. Bark n scratch is by no means cheap. But I believe they do well pricewise while delivering a good product.

M P: I am very disappointed. I was happy to get a grooming appt., as ny regular groomer was booked until the end of May. But, to my disappointment, NY dog's grooming was not up to par. The trimming looked as if they used a scissor all over my dog's body. The cuts were not even, and my dog didn't have that freshly shampooed smell fresh....as if she was only rinsed with water. I traveled far and paid too much for such shoddy service. To top things off: when I called to complain about it, I was placed on hold for nearly 8 minutes. The receptionists claimed she had other clients coming in. Well, aren't I a client too, who paid over $80 fir the service I received? I couldn't access my receipt on the link I was emailed. So, I wasn't able to see what all I was charged. She said she' d mail my receipt to me. I asked to speak with the manager, but was told they're out of town until next week, but will be given the message to call me. I'll see if that happens. However, I will not utilize their services again.
