Barbara George: I have known Teresa, Client Liaison with Synergy, for many years on a professional level as I work in a senior living community and have always known of and experienced the great reputation she and Synergy have in taking care of their clients. On a personal level, my mother now needs home care and the first place I would use is Synergy Home Care. Teresa has been phenomenal in working with my mom to assess her to determine the right amount and kind of care my mom needs. My mom commented on how trustworthy, gentle and kind Teresa is. karen clark: would like to say we have had April, going on nine years as of October. My husband came home from Iraq 16 years ago and suffered 5 severe strokes. We had a different company at the beginning and since have switched to Synergy Home care. April comes twice a week to help with showering. She and Chuck, have a great relationship, what one dishes out the other always has a comeback!! April is also flexible if we need to switch out a day and same here if she needs to switch. April is not one who does her job just for the money, she truly enjoys what she does! We are truly BLESSED to have someone who takes the time and effort to show us how much she cares. I hope that she continues to stay with us for as long as we have Chuck!!! God willing a LONG TIME.

We have been working with SYNERGY for years as an emergency backup. Without fail or complaint, they responded on a moment’s notice and was able to fill urgently needed shifts through private pay. Fast forward to 2023 where our family member went on Medicaid. We were able to be comfortable with the IRIS program because of some lengthy communications we had with Ruth, the president and owner at SYNERGY. catherine j (Catherine J): I really cannot say enough good things about Synergy Home Care.My 90 year old Dad had a stroke, and after living on his own very successfully, we suddenly needed home care.Ruth, the owner, talked with me first time for more than 30 minutes on a Sunday morning. I was sitting in the hospital parking lot, feeling lost, confused and worried about what we were going to do to help my dad. Without selling Synergy specifically, she patiently walked me through what my Dad's care options could look like. Gave me several ideas on supplementing the costs, etc. It was a life changer. I learned that there were safe in-home options and I felt entirely comfortable with how she/Synergy approached everything.Synergy came to my Dad's home, assessed some changes we could make for his safety, and gave us a reasonable, affordable schedule for him.Unexpectedly, my dad's health issues escalated and we needed him to go to a 24hr care facility...for now.Even though we have not actually had the opportunity to use the care scheduled, I would not hesitate to call Synergy in the future for my other family in-home care needs. They are just amazing, quick to respond and so knowledgeable on all aspects of the process. They took a great burden off of us when we needed it.Thank you, Ruth and team.
John Nosbisch: SYNERGY to the rescue…again! Several years ago after my mother’s passing I provided a glowing review. They had been with her for 3 years and provided outstanding compassionate care. Fast forward to this past weekend my now 101 year old mother-in-law in assisted living urgently needed additional care and monitoring. Synergy with no advanced notice quickly sprung into action and was able to provide care givers to make sure she remained safe. Fortunately, she improved and having that help during a difficult and stressful time meant the world to us. We were actually blown away they were able to help our family out so quickly and provided that much needed peace of mind. What a wonderful organization and team Ruth has created for those in need.2018SYNERGY has consistently provided Professional, Conscientious and Compassionate services for Mom over the past 3 years. They have communicated with me about cleaning supplies needed and kept detailed notes about how my mom seemed to be doing when they were visiting with her. It has been absolutely evident that her caregivers....care!Synergy paid attention when I called with questions/concerns, always provided communication when schedules needed to be adjusted, and sent newsletters outlining protocols and such surrounding the pandemic. We both selected Home Health Care, which offers a range of services, including light cleaning!!!!! Synergy Home Health Care Agency provides this service, and we have been grateful recipients of their service for the past two years.Today, we received a letter from Synergy, written and signed by Ruth Bussalachi, the owner of Synergy, that deeply moved me. Synergy sends out letters periodically informing recipients of services about their COVID policies and practices. Today's letter was the 6th during the time of this international Pandemic.In addition to describing their safety protocols, Ruth mentions that no cases of COVID have occurred among recipients of services during these many months.And then she added more, about what Synergy is doing in terms of staff retention during these more recent challenging months when so many businesses involved in the service industry are losing employees, including in the Home Health Care Services Industry.To aid in retention of quality workers, Synergy has raised employee wages several times, offers a number of bonuses, and finds other ways to "reward the good work so many caregivers provide.Decades ago, I worked as a Public Health Nurse and as a hospital nurse, and know first hand the challenges people working in Health Care face on a daily basis. We currently have an adult daughter who lives with multiple disabilities, and needs the services provided in an adult group home, and I know the challenges this agency, and others like it, are facing on a daily basis, too.It fills me with joy to read about the excellent effort that Ruth Bussalachi provides to her staff, and to know first-hand the excellent service provided by the workers at Synergy.Respectfully, Jacqueline

Laura Pedrick: Home Instead provided outstanding care for my Mother over the past several years--weekly support for household and personal care support. Then, when she transitioned from rehab to assisted living after a hospital stay, our family relied on Home Instead for almost round-the-clock care during that process. Again, every caregiver was outstanding--empathetic and skilled in working with aging adults. I give Home Instead my highest recommendation!

As Dad got better, Callie walked the halls of his residence with him to ensure he could do that. They walked to nearby waterfall. She went on errands with Dad to ensure he could take care of himself on these errands. They brought real peace of mind to us all and got Dad the services he needed and as he got better worked to decrease those services. My Dad and my siblings all agree they provided very important care and then helped to ensure that Dad could be self sufficient again. Super helpful and caring people!
