Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Food stations were spaced throughout and we sat and sampled the different options. Food was very good, the consultants stopped at each table to answer questions. It really helped us narrow down our menu selection. It is a nice venue and well organized.

Kristen Arveson: the most elegant and glamorous greenery/draping for the huge outdoor gazebo at Pere Marquette Park for our ceremony. It was truly the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The inside of our venue was so dreamy as well with the additional greenery added to the stairwells and railings. They also communicated and coordinated extremely well with the other vendors which meant we were able to truly enjoy our wedding day without having to make any last minute decisions. This team was phenomenal and we couldn’t have been happier with their designs!

Every idea or request that I had, Oscar was able to bring to fruition. He was so attentive to our details and was genuinely passionate about our wedding. We did our florals through them, which they were able to repurpose between ceremonies. We also were able to rent everything we needed through Ambrosia too! They really transformed the space and the setup for everything was more beautiful than we could have even imagined.

Jordan was our assigned DJ for our actual day, and he did an amazing job at transitioning music between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The dance floor never felt empty and he did a great job at working the room with his MC technique as well. Additionally, the photo booth package was such a nice add on that all of our guests loved, and that was all setup seamlessly by the Milwaukee Airwaves team. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, they were integral to such a stress-free, fun, and unforgettable night!

Angel Sevilla: We had Milwaukee Airwaves do our wedding last month, and to be totally transparent it wasn’t our choice. They were the contracted DJ for the venue we chose, but man am I happy with the work they did. BRAVO! Jordan Saypanya was the DJ that night and he did literally everything we asked for and more.Let me start at the beginning. My husband and I are very particular about our music tastes, so the DJ element of our wedding night was a huge deal, not at all an afterthought or something we took lightly. Milwaukee Airwaves provides an online platform where you can fill in some blanks with Song You Must Hear, Songs It Would Be Nice To Hear, and Songs You Absolutely Do Not Want To Hear at your event. This was fantastic. My husband and I sat there for hours one night on the computer typing Artist-Title after Artist-Title, filling in those blanks.What followed was a meeting with Jordan and this was the point where we finally felt comfortable. He’s a great communicator and a complete professional. We asked him about his work outside of doing weddings, we asked him about his process choosing songs throughout the night, his comfort level with transitions between songs, and let me tell you that this guy knows his stuff. He talked about reading the crowd, moderating the energy, being mindful of BPM’s when flowing through vibes throughout the night…. That conversation really made us excited to work with Milwaukee Airwaves.Then on the wedding day we had a friend who wanted to perform a song for our first dance, she’s a singer, and Jordan showed up early for her to be able to have a rehearsal, he provided the microphone for her, he found the instrumental version of the song for her to sing to. It was perfection. I’m literally tearing up writing this because everything was so perfect.And the biggest compliment that can be given, I think, is the fact that our guests asked afterward “Who was your DJ? Can I hire him for my next event?” That really says it all. What a magical night. Thank you Jordan!!!!!!!!!

Sophie Kubly: My husband and I picked Milwaukee Airwaves to DJ our wedding, and their DJ Jordan did such a great job! We got married on New Year's Eve, so wanted to make sure they could keep the party going until midnight. A few days before, we had a call with Jordan and he asked great questions to get a feel for our vibe. We also had filled out a questionnaire from them that we could tell Jordan used to help keep the party going. Aside from the one phone call, we didn't communicate much with them so I was a little nervous going into the day, but their DJs seem to be really good at what they do and they're professionals at it so we were thrilled with how the day went!

Thomas Fleischmann: and did a great job looping him in. Kevin made sure everyone had a great time and was constantly communicating with us about timing/flow of the night. We very much appreciate Kevin’s efforts to make our day special!

Benjamin Davis: Kevin had great energy and was very personable. He put us at ease from our first meeting with him, spent time getting to know us and our story, and asked both detailed and nuanced questions to gain an understanding of who we are as a couple, the vibe we were looking for at the wedding, and our expectations we had for him serving as our MC and DJ.He did a fantastic job of feeling the crowd’s energy, playing music accordingly to keep the dance floor packed all night. He instrumental in keeping us on pace, and even assisted in the set up and tear down of tables to keep the night on track.Our only bit of constructive criticism was the music for the ceremony itself. We had previously provided a set list of the songs we wanted played, in the order to play them for the ceremony; however, during the ceremony, songs were played out of order, or the wrong version of the song was played. While our guests didn’t notice, it was one point where we would have appreciated additional communication and confirmation prior to the ceremony to ensure everything was set.All in all, Kevin was an incredible DJ and seemed earnestly invested in providing the best experience he possibly could over the course of the evening. We would highly recommend him to another couple, given that the miscommunication of ceremony songs could and can be easily corrected going forward, and it by no means derailed our evening. His easy-going nature, music selection and fun-loving attitude are perfect if you’re looking for someone who will keep your guests dancing all night long.

charlene marsalli: Saz's catered our Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Party yesterday. The staff of Angel, Natalie and Alex were amazing. It was a VERY windy day and they managed things top notch. They all went above and beyond their responsibilities to make the event a success!

Gaozie Vang: Saz’s catered our 3.2.24 wedding, and we were so impressed with the catering staff the day of our wedding! They went above and beyond, and we had buffet-style food. I was even assigned my own personal staff member to help me get my plate of food so that my white dress stayed clean. They also helped the children get food! The food was so delicious and the genuine care in the staff was amazing!

I love that there are so many options and you can really make your wedding dinner however you want it to be! I just want to say how lovely it was working with Michelle. She was so quick to answer emails, and she was so helpful when we were picking out linens and honestly the details for the table! I really loved getting our linens through Saz’s - they were so beautiful and just added to the space even more! The staff was incredible at our wedding, and some of our guests even commented on that as well! I really loved when we sat down for dinner and had an appetizer plate waiting for us! The food was amazing - it was identical to our tasting, if not better ! It was 110% worth the investment!

We hired Kristin as our day-of coordinator and she as well as her assistant Bailey helped direct the entire day leaving me stress free and rolled with the punches as we made last minute changes. She and Bailey absolutely knocked it out of the park! From start to finish of the day, I was under zero stress, knowing they had it handled. I highly recommend!

I found out, after the day was already over, that there were several complications that occurred, but Sarah took care of it all. The bridal party, my wife, and I did NOT have to deal with our vendors coming up to us to ask logistical questions in the middle of the wedding or reception, so we got to enjoy every bit of our day without worrying about other things. And this was only possible because prior to the wedding we had 2 in-person meetings and had a decently long email conversation where we worked out the details of exactly how we wanted the day to go. Alyssa Albertini: Hiring Kristin as our day-of wedding coordinator was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made! We were uncertain whether we truly needed a day of wedding coordinator, but after meeting with Kristin to discuss how she could help us it was a no-brainer! Kristin was very affordable and ensured our wedding day ran smoothly. She recommended numerous vendors and gave us several suggestions for how to ensure our day ran as easily as possible. In our two pre-wedding meetings, she brought up many questions and specifics that we hadn’t even considered. On the day of, she and her assistant handled all the details that I did not want falling to our wedding party or family. She was professional and coordinated with our other wedding vendors in the week leading up to the wedding so we didn’t have to. Kristin and her team were the last ones there on our wedding night cleaning up, and made sure we received all of our remaining wedding trinkets when we were ready to pick them up. distinct person: Went to A Taylor Swift Tribute Concert. It was fantastic. I really don't know Taylor Swift songs that well but my date loves them. And to have them performed by a quartet in a candlelit setting was really original and special. Plus they had a "Travis Swift" specialty drink that was original and delicious. And idk if it happens all the time, but for the last 2 songs they let us sing along and take pics.The quartet was excellent. I loved their intros to the songs and the arrangements were great. I would have loved to talk to them afterwards and take some pics. But they disappeared right away. Waited around but they never came back.

The stories behind each artifact to why he chose what dishes to make, it kept me entertained for hours.

Hannah Zurcher: Krista, the owner of Weddings With A Twist the an absolute dream of a wedding planner. We started working with WWAT in January of 2022 for our 2023 September wedding and Krista was there for every step. She made the wedding planning process seamless and handled all the communication with other vendors. She made the overwhelming task of planning a large wedding as easy as it can be, even when she went on maternity leave, her assistant stepped in and was completely up to date on every single thing Krista and I had been discussing. WWAT is very organized and thorough, they made us our own personalized wedding website that kept track of our budget, vendor contracts, mood board, and more. Krista was always easy to get ahold of and very flexible willing to move her schedule around to accomodate ours. During wedding weekend, I was stress free knowing that Krista was going to be present the entire wedding and handling all of the set up so that myself, my husband, and my family could all be present with us and not busy setting the venue up. She also took the time to know us on a personal level, so we did not just feel like clients to her. We cannot recommend WWAT enough, she made two people who really did not want a wedding very very grateful we ended up having one, because the day was absolute perfection! Our wedding was so seamless, my best friend who recently got engaged booked with Krista the day after our wedding because she wanted the same experience we had!!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that we were a happier, less stressed couple because of Krista and her team. Krista was with us every step of the way from venue tours and tastings to the take down at the end of our night. She's incredibly organized, kept us on track during planning, and her tools made everything straightforward. Most people who are getting married haven't done it before and it can be daunting to even know where to start- which vendors to book first, how to find them, keeping up with communication, organizing the information... I would absolutely hire WWAT to take care of all of that again. We had consultations about our vision for each vendor and then options that fit our style and budget just showed up in our inbox already vetted and with confirmed availability for our day. Like, are you kidding me?? Honestly, the best money spent on our wedding and their price was incredibly reasonable for all you get! I didn't have a voice the week of or morning of my wedding which would have been a crisis if we didn't have Krista! She was there and worked with every vendor, double checked that everything was ready as the day was coming up, and the day of I didn't have to lift a finger. You have no idea how nice it was to have someone who takes care of EVERYTHING and just takes you to where you need to be and when. I can't recommend them enough- hire them and then take a breath. They've got this so you don't have to!

Mackenzie Volckmann: Julie was our Day Of Planner. She was so kind and got everything taken care of!My only advice to future couples/brides is to ask for the day of surprises charge sheet. She found multiple issues with our timeline proactively so we could coordinate with vendors to fix them before the day of. And I was very worried we would forget things at the venue since there was a strict cut off policy but she made sure my helpers got every last thing. She helped organize our chair rentals with Canopies Events. She was very helpful the day of and HIGHLY recommend having at minimum a wedding planner for day of services. She helped get guests seated and organize any last minute details the day of. She was willing to pick up my bridal bouquet on her way to our ceremony. Assisted with group photos and helped get them done quickly and efficiently. Throughout all the photos she was great about helping keep my train straight, hold my bouquet if needed and help with adjusting my dress straps if I felt they were sliding down. She also assisted with bustling my dress.

Heather Ruka: We LOVED working with Weddings With a Twist for day-of coordination. We hired them because we did not want ourselves, or any of our family members, to feel like we had to work on the day of the wedding to set up decor and make sure all of the vendors were accounted for. They did not disappoint.All of our reception decor was set up exactly how I envisioned it and at the end of the night, they packed everything away so organized and were very efficient. My parents were so grateful for the help of loading everything into their cars.Krista and Laura kept everything running on time and even reminded us that we mentioned on our call wanting to do a table dash for photos, and they made it happen!When we went out to take a few photos while cocktail hour was going on, it started drizzling.
