Love this place. Started coming here a few times a month when I first moved downtown less than a block away. Now I've been going more frequently in the last year and have nothing but great things to say about it. ALL of the workers there are very friendly, the store is very clean and very well stocked. More of a pantry in my opinion, which is a good thing. If you need something food related in a pinch like snacks or even basic canned or some frozen things, they have a great selection. The prices are very fair and there is a rewards program too! I never feel unsafe going in the store even though this area of downtown can be a bit sketch. If you live nearby or are passing through, don't pass this store up!

And I wanna express why.I'm picky and some times I need to browse a bit. At any other store I am haggled and having unwarranted recommendations on brands and flavors that are unrelated to what I'm looking for and if I buy something they try to hustle me to buy more.But this place is different.I believe he's the owner, but he's always really welcoming, and he will let me look as long as I need to. and if he asks what Im looking for he will give me realistic recommendations. recently, he offered to put in an order for what I was looking for that I was having a hard time finding at any store! I will only come here because of this service. Even though it's far from where I live this small detail alone makes such a difference in my experience.

Mario S. Sanchez: I will give this store a 4 star review because I used to frequent it several years ago and I think they are operating the same way as before. The market next door is another side of that same coin. I have alot of memories of that store and I haven`t been there for several years but used to frequent it with a mix good clerks and scammer clerks as well. The store operates in the heart of downtown where no one knows who anyone else is and the store has a customer flow where the shoppers can be just as crooked as the store staff so it becomes a matter of who scams who. Our hope is to be a light in the darkness rather than giving in and becoming a part of that darkness!
Juhi K: BEST PLACE EVER! The dog is the manager his name is Blue and he is the sweetest. The liquor is also very good and good prices!! The reviews I looked at that were rated low were from years and years ago, so I am guessing the staff has changed since!
