Gothic Milwaukee- Walking Milwaukee: what do users think?

C. E. Frizzell: I really enjoyed this ghost walk. As a huge history geek, I loved that Anna dressed the part and bestowed some truly awesome nuggets of Milwaukee history and lore that most people might not even be aware of. She wasn't overwrought or trying to hard, she didn't use gimmicks or declare that every breeze was a demon - I respect her so much for that.

Donna Lee: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,ValueThis was my first Ghost tour. It rained but the tour started on time. Our guide was wonderful and has a kind heart. She let me use her umbrella because i fot got mine. The tour was scary and informational.I told all my friends i had a wonderful birthday.Service:Private tours

Jill Pontinen: The tour was fun and informative. Anna was excellent. She was knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend it!Service:Group tours

kmtn13: story teller. Her grasp of the history of Milwaukee and its architecture was enlightening. I highly recommend this tour!Service:City tours

Ashlee Tramutolo: This was one of the best ghost tours we have ever taken. Great information and you could tell how much the guide loved her city! Would highly recommend the tour to anyone going to Milwaukee!!! Even great for kids.Service:Private tours

Tracy Phelps: Really fun and informative walking tour of Milwaukee's haunted areas. Some I've heard, some were completely new. Would be fine for younger kids. The tour itself is not scary.

Barb K: If you love history with some ghosts thrown in, great story telling, with lots of humor, and walking in our lovely downtown, then this tour is for you! It was delightful!

Bob Frisch: I saw them walking once and it seemed pretty neat. was looking up totally unrelated thing on google and this happened to be a suggested search result. Thought I would give my opinion on something I have had no experience dealing with personally as this is the internet and that is perfectly okay to do.

Kelly Hoffman: Fantastic tour! A great blend of history and ghost stories! The guide is funny and interesting, really drawing the listener into the stories. I would highly recommend this tour!

Hangman Tours: what do users think?

Mike Franzese: This was a pretty awesome experience! Christopher was a great tour guide in capturing my attention. If you're into trying new things and learning more about the area, this would be a great spot. The 3 level rooftop sitting, pretty cool too! Will be coming back for sure!

Janielle: Kirsten is awesome, highly recommend as your tour guide!

random guy: My daughters and I had such a wonderful time at the Shakey's 2.0 ghost tour. This was our first ghost tour ever, and Joe by far superceded all of our expectations. The tour was creepy scary and funny all at the same time. I can't wait to go back to Milwaukee and do it again. Also, the entire staff was so friendly and Joe are tour guide has great taste in music. I definitely recommend a thousand times.

Amy Higgins: The ghost tour at Shakers was fun. Our tour guide Joe was outgoing and informative. He told us about the history of Shakers which I found interesting. I'm a skeptic, but with Joe talking about the ghosts it made them real for me. In fact, before I left, I went to the ladies' room and found the spring-loaded water facet running and the sink almost overflowing. Out loud I said, "Elizabeth are you up to your shenanigans again?" The lights flickered and I laughed and told her to be a good girl.I also took the Cream City Cannibal tour about Jeffery Dahmer. Christopher was a wonderful tour guide. He really knew the Dahmer history. I enjoyed the personal history he gave of Dahmer. It makes you want to try to understand why a serial killer begins their journey. I highly recommend this tour.

Scott Sherrell: I took the tour with Joe. He was fantastic, great person and story teller

Kayleigh cooper: We had Alexi as our tour guider person and he was very nice and relaxed very good at his job for sure! I personally just didn’t really think this kind of tour was for me as you do have to walk around people eating and drinking in order to do the tour which i found a little awkward.

Chad Walters: Kiersten gave a fantastic tour! She knew a lot about the history and really made for a fantastic night!

Katelyn Longmire: Thank you Kirsten for an awesome tour! So fun and learned a lot.

Alessandra Stamper: We went on the Cream City Cannibal tour with Rhonda, and it was very interesting. It wasn't super scary, but definitely interesting. Rhonda had the best cliffhangers as we walked from one spot to another where Jeffrey Dahmer preyed on his victims. She also interjected some humor into the tour, which helped lighten the mood. She was a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

A.J.: . The teens were interested in the Diving Rods Joe mentioned and we were thinking of checking out another tour that might have those.

Tyler Junk: Alexi did a great job during the Whoring 20s tour. Very informative and friendly!

Olivia Sell: Alexi was very knowledgeable and friendly. Walking tour was the perfect distance for an afternoon hours stroll around the river.

Liz Berko: Lots of interesting history and creepy corners on this tour. Joe was great! So much fun and super informative.

Anna Strombach: We had a great time learning about all the history that went into the building! Our tour guide, Kirsten was AMAZING! She was so thorough and energetic. I loved her! Would definitely recommend!

Emilio Pina: , our tour guide was very informative and provided awesome history in his tours while also being an overall chill dude.

Sarah Roberts: A really great tour, Elizabeth our tour guide was really well informed and clearly knew her stuff. She was friendly and really made us feel at ease. Elizabeth definately made the experience and we're really glad we did it - made all the more atmospheric by the persistent Milwaukee rain!!! Worth the journey from London, thank you so much.

Cindy P: Great tour and Kristy was a wonderful tour guide. She shares interesting history of one small building with so much life in it from years past. Must do for those visiting Milwaukee.

Naomi Karvellas: Our tour guide Rhonda was amazing did a great job leading us around the block and educating us on Jeffery dahmer but most of all his victims, its refreshing to see a tour that educates and sheds light on the victims. I’d definitely recommended and revisit if I ever find myself back in Milwaukee!

Historic Milwaukee Store & Tours: what do users think?

Pat Kleist: Awesome and fun

HB: Great place to get any sort of souvenir !

Tim Garcia-Brown: Took a class on how to research the history of a house. Very informative.

Jason Scuglik: Wonderful little shop filled with all sorts of Milwaukee things. Great place to shop for books, posters, coasters and so much more.

Rick and Dani Gramza: Enjoyed our visit today. Amazing selection of gifts and historical literature. Nice Christmas ornaments, lots of books, puzzles, and prints! The employee, younger girl with brown curly hair, was not very friendly, spoke minimally, and the only words she spoke to anyone without approaching them first was to a couple where she said “you didn’t close the door!”We all have bad days but a positive first impression is always best, either mean it, fake it, or call in sick.

Stacey Yohannes: Loved the tour with Steve of the historic third ward. Very fun and informative and Steve's knowledge was great.

Mary Kubicek: Love going to the Milwaukee Historical Society store for note cards, prints, stickers and key chains. We love the Spaces and Traces Tour they sponsor. We thoroughly enjoyed their most recent tour May 2022. Love we could park once and walk to all 14 places on the tour.

Lizz Tsosie: Truly one of the best gift stores in all of Milwaukee. I go in every 3 months & always seem to find something new. It's pretty much where I do ALL of my Christmas shopping. For the last 2 years my mother in law has given me a gift certificate for my birthday here. She knows I love it so much!

Jillian Walker: If ever you need a great "Wisconsin" gift item, this is the place. They have beautiful art that even the lifelong Wisconsinite will appreciate and fun souvenirs for a visitor.

Maura Denise: The Hop tour was great. Awesome Milwaukee souvenirs and books.

Derek Schneider: This is a great souvenir shop in Milwaukee with great Milwaukee themed stuff. Books, bags, coasters, puzzles, posters, small store but many options.

Sarah F: Great customer service offering unique Milwaukee and WI gift items. MacKenna went above and beyond trying to help us locate one item and their curbside pickup was a breeze! Many thanks Historic Milwaukee!!
