Pastiche Bistro: what do users think?

Andrew Schramm: We had a large party of eleven for a birthday event. We chose this venue because their entree selection was varied. They did not disappoint. We had almost every selection in our group and everyone agreed theirs was done perfectly and great tasting. We really enjoyed the appetizers and the beet salads topped with fried goat cheese. Chef owner Mike Engel and our server did a great job. Angela the pastry chef made a perfect cake for us.Parking: Lots of spacesWheelchair accessibility: Easy

eric gremonprez: Always an incredible experience at Pastiche. Service, food, wine, and everything overall is always top notch. We eat out often in the greater Milwaukee area and enjoy trying new restaurants, but it is hard to beat eating at an established restaurant knowing you are in for a 5 star experience every time. Mike and Angela have been in the game for a long time and there is a reason why that’s the case. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Alissa P: Have been here before for dinner, which was absolutely wonderful. Finally made it back for Saturday Brunch. It did not disappoint! I had the Breakfast Hash and my friend had the Saumon Oeufs Beneitce, which were both great. Then we shared the Chocolate Raspberry Dome and Raspberry Dacquoise for dessert. The dome was rich, the other had a creamy custard-like filling inside. Then I brought the Opera Torte to my mother — also delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I also thought the portion sizes were fair for the quality of food and price.

Alan Hopper: , to the point we had to leave

Brenda Greenawalt: Excellent food & service!! The scallop crepe is phenomenal!!

Vincent Vega: . The steak melted in my mouth like butter and the potatoes tasted like my great aunt’s that she would make for family meals during the summer. I don’t even have a great aunt. The point i’m making is the meal i had here takes you places and paints pictures in your head and creates memories i don’t actually have. Hats off to the chef’s and kitchen. For dessert we had the warm apple cake with the coñac ice cream. The cake was delicious and the ice cream had just the right amount of flavor to not make it feel like you’re eating a scoop of Hennessy. First time here, and certainly not our last.Dietary restrictions: Some lady in the same room as said she was allergic to dairy wheat soy and like 4 other things and the server was accommodatingParking: Lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp

Mandy Vallee: Probably the best croissant I’ve ever had!!!

The Borg Cooking Show: Espresso 8.4/10Ice Vanilla Latté 9.0/10Muscles 9.2/10French toast 8.8/10One of the best brunch/breakfast places in the Milwaukee area. The muscles were perfectly cooked and drowned in a tomatoes based sauce that I would have drank straight out of a trough if they had served it in such a way. And the bread that was served with it, a beautiful sponge center to soak up all the juicy goodness with a crunchy crust that balanced the texture without destroying the roof of your mouth. Honesty top three muscles I've ever eaten and I've had them in Michelin star restaurants in France. The French toast was great and not drowned in high fructose corn syrup, thank the heavens. It was instead served with a generous drizzle of their in house made raspberry spread. The light sweetness of the berries and rich creaminess of the whipped cream paired perfectly with the franch toast. The secret is out, so if you plan to come on a Sunday or Saturday for brunch, book a reservation. The owner and Master Baker has a PhD in Yeast biology and studied in France, and buddy does it show in the breads and pastriesParking: Plenty of free street parking in the areaWheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Jennifer Biewer: I love sharing reviews of great food places and this place gave me great pleasure! Met a friend there for lunch and had their special of the day - a pecan crusted walleye that was melt in your mouth delicious with mashed potatoes and green beans. Big lunch, I know, but then I was full for the rest of the day! A perfect little vanilla macaron followed… also a slice of heaven - just chewy enough and very fresh. I highly recommend this little gem of a place and am looking forward to making a return trip. The service was impeccable.

Michael Vitucci: Where do you find a true French baker who takes pride in artisan quality? That’s right only here. A gem of a place and consistent quality and we are lucky to have this quality baker in our neighborhood!Kid-friendliness: Great morning visits welcomed by consistently friendly staff. Owner clearly leads by example

Bavette La Boucherie: what do users think?

Tony del pino: I've been wanting to stop by Bavette for quite some time. I must say it should be a must if you live or are visiting Milwaukee. With having roots of being a Butcher Shop and having an open kitchen concept, this place hit all the marks. The service was attentive. The menu was plentiful. The pricing was much more than fair. A great wine list to boot. Please get the Steak Tartare. Just....do it.

Lagniappe Brasserie: what do users think?

Billy G: This was with out a doubt the best meal of my life. Everything was perfect. We had scallops, halibut, venison, all cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service and ambience was top notch. For dessert we had an almond roasted pear .. incredible ! The evening was so great I took a copy of the menu to remind me how special of a night this was. From now on every time I am in Milwaukee I will arrange my schedule to make sure Lagniappe is a part of it. Just plain phenomenal. Thank you to chef Andy and all his employees for a remarkable experience.

E Will: Lagniappe Brasserie has been a favorite gem of a restaurant of mine for many years. Chef Andrew Tenaglia never fails to bring fresh, locally sourced food to the table. In all the years of operation, I have have never had a bad meal and the service has always been spectaculator. I was happy to hear about and support curb-side pick up during the COVID-19 epidemic. I encourage to place an order or two to help support this local independently owned and operated area restaurant so they will be there for us in the future.

Chris Dziewa: Small place with great food. We were in and out within an hour because of their efficiency. It was not busy, but the food was excellent and our server was good. I had the salad and the ribeye steak. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The fat melted in my mouth. They also had bread service with oil and paté. The server brought us a sampling of gourmet meatballs on the house. I had been wanting to stop here for years and finally got to go here with my parents and my partner. I highly recommend stopping by for dinner.

Margie Lochowicz: My husband and I decided to celebrate my birthday at a restaurant we had never been at before. We were met immediately by a friendly waitress. She explained the menu fully, and we both decided on soup, a ribeye steak, and mashed potatoes . The steak was ordered medium, and it was done perfectly. We both had one drink, and my husband said his drink was the best he's had in a very long time. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of my meal because the steak was quite a good size for a ribeye and the presentation of the meal was beautiful. We are very happy with our choice this year, and we will be back. Also we will see you at the Wisconsin State Fair next summer . One last thought..... the atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. We could speak to each other and hear each other, something that you don't experience in other restaurants, but that we both appreciate .Parking: There is plenty of parking for this quaint restaurant, but it could have better lighting.

Maison: what do users think?

chadwick dennis: Wow. Walked in on a whim while my wife was getting her hair cut. Ordered a beer. Food was coming out for other people so I ordered some fried chicken to go. INCREDIBLE. Reminds me of my dads cast iron flash fried chickenBoneless wings were also the best.Highly recommended.

Kathleena Gomez: I tried Neighborhood Draft for the first time a few weeks back and fell in love. I've been back multiple times already. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious and affordable. The chopped salad is a must, and you need to try the chicken wings or fried chichen. Top notch all around! Excellent beer, wine, and cocktail menu. Highly recommend.

Gina Gault: are prefect for littles with sauce on the side, the fries

Jameson Czarnecki: Best wings and bloody mary

Kevyn Schwab: Great wings, even better staff. Go-to for elevated bar food in the neighborhood

Ann Kopetsky: We love this neighborhood spot. My husband and I love the boneless wings w/JB3 sauce. I always enjoy their seasonal salads and appreciate their constantly evolving menu. No kids menu, but my kids love the mac and cheese and sliders. Great beer list. And we love their outdoor patio. Consistently good service too.Kid-friendliness: Yes kid-friendly. No kids menu, but my kids love the side mac and cheese and burger sliders. They don't serve milk, which doesn't bother us but it's good to know.

Pastiche Bistro & Wine Bar (Bay View): what do users think?

E Will: The presentation was like a Renoir and the food was a symphony for my taste buds. I will miss the Bay View restaurant, but I'm equally excited to see you moving to a new location. Siyou there!

jim wachowiak: Delicious small portion apps. Good happy hour. Fine selection of wine. Staff is cool and down to earth.

John Hardham: We visit this cozy little place every time we come to Milwaukee. The food is excellent, the wine list compliments the menu nicely, and the service is timely. We understand they are moving downtown soon however. The neighborhood will lose a valuable asset!

Jordon Meyer: Amazing food, great atmosphere and nice staff. Perfect for an intimate special occasion dinner.

Joan Otzelberger: Etza welcoming and amazing bartender! Scott...awesome server. Cozy atmosphere and the lamb loin is to die for!

Scott Molling: I had the casoulet which was delicious.

Mark F: Country French Done Right! The chef has brought provincial food and style to Bay View. This is a restaurant that is a treasure in that the tastes and flavors are unique to another part of the world, lovingly brought to the Mid-West. The ingredients are quality and the composition is true to the French style. Great value, great selections, Great Work!

steve prochaska: Arrived 15 minutes before our reservation which turned out to be a very good thing. Had time to go upstairs and visit the wine bar and have a glass of wine, some cheese and relax a bit before dinner.Timing was perfect. Sat down to our dinner and had really nice waiter, Frank. He took the time to make sure we were settled and then proceeded with cocktail requests and dinner specials. The specials menu, which is what we all ended up ordering from , had a good variety of tastes. The timing from salad to entree to desert was just perfect. I had the Scallops and risotto, wow!!! Also served were Swordfish, and steaks, all very good. Reasonable costs... All in all a very pleasant evening. we will be back.....

Teagan Felerski: Two out of three times I have came here I have ordered off the specials menu. Very good resturant. Tapas Tuesday was very good when I dined. The staff is very profesional and polite. I wouldn't recomend bringing small children here. Make sure you make a reservation when you plan on dinning with Pastiche; it tends to get very full within a half hour of arriving around 5:30-6 for dinner. Have yet to try Mussel Mondays!

Robert M: Great neighborhood restaurant. Excellent rabbit, fish, charcuterie, and other items. On weekends reservations are a must. The bar is small, but it's a great place to hang out-- very friendly and engaging bartender. The place can get noisy, but not horrendously so. Ask for a table by the walls; avoid the tables in the middle.

Jaime Meyer: We went to Pastiche for my Fiance's birthday and we had an excellent experience. My fiance loved his meal! I wish I could give it 5 stars, but there was only 1 vegetarian entree and I not a fan of Ratatouille. Great experience, we will definitely come again.
