Plain and simple, lovely wood, absolutely perfect for my 94-year-old farmer dad .The box will be buried with his ashes at our country cemetery, so we didn’t need anything fancy. After speaking with the craftsman who makes them, I ended up requesting a custom size because the internal dimensions of the standard urn were just a bit too small for my situation. I didn’t mind paying a little bit extra for a custom size item, considering the use I have for it. Ian was a pleasure to speak to, and when I finally placed my order he kept me updated on the progress and when the item shipped. The item arrived in the best packaging I have seen in a long time, double bubble wrapped and multiple layers of heavy cardboard surrounding it in the shipping box. The final product is everything I wanted. Excellent craftsmanship, perfect fit, and a beautiful work of art itself. If you are in need of such an item, I would highly recommend this craftsman and his work.
