Mader's Restaurant: what do users think?

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere, and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Эрик А: Got to skip school while on a trip to this restaurant. Didn't even try any dishes. Freakin' love this place.Update: the waitress is kinda a hottie ngl.I've arrived again, THE WAITRESS IS FIRE!!! I recommend it to everyone.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle. My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

Karl's Country Market (World Famous Sausage): what do users think?

Joseph Tjader: Best brats in Milwaukee. They came out with a few new ones. The Gorgonzola one is 🔥🔥. Funny though. I asked a guy at the meat counter on April 7th about if they had any left in back because their freezer display was out of them and his response was "Huh?" I informed him that they have new brats. And he's like "oh ok."

Joseph Toth (G.I. Joe): This little market is located in a perfect spot for people commuting between the north side of Milwaukee and the west areas like Sussex Erin and more.Located right on the intersection, it's a easy visit.Meats, grocery items and other necessities are here for the commuter without detouring into the heart of the crowded village.Thumbs up.

Michael Mueller: Had a craving for real beef Jerky, it was kind of late for a butcher ship and they were all closed except Karl's. Drove 26 miles round trip for some national champion Jerky and I was not disappointed at all. I will be back!Prices were good, good selection, and it was clean. It looked closed even though it was open. Employees must park in the back or out of sight.

Sandi Landowski: A nice little meat market that specializes in homemade brats and summer sausage. Wonderful meat market and all the fixings to go along with it. Speciality foods such as Polish, Asian, and Hispanic can be found down the aisles.

Yetemar-Kenyell Cross: , so it’s best to come with a cooler to stock up

Bob Korbus: Great meats!

S K: Their homemade bratwurst is good, also good German items for sale.

Tiffany G: Love the variety of Meats and candies. Very nostalgic for my folks first time with living in Germany years ago.

Old German Beer Hall: what do users think?

Lindsey Peterson: I've been here with my boyfriend a couple times now. We love it! We have stopped by this bar with some friends that live close. The food was good the one time we actually ate there. And we all like to get the Underdog digestif. There is another one sold at the bar, a bit cheaper, and if you buy 4 you get the 5th one free. The bar is loud, but that is expected. It's super fun if a band is playing as well. Such a fun bar. They also have Hammerschlagenthat you can play at the back if you buy nails at the bar. Funnnnn!

Jenna Wade: . It’s street parking, which can be a pain depending on the time of day and what else is going on in the Deer District but I’ve always been able to find something.

Maia H: . Have fun and get a liter of beer.

Judy Tutles: for me!!! There is a neat paiting of old Milwaukee Mayors from when I was a little girl LOL A long time ago indeed! There is German beer options and other beer and like I said wine

Von Trier: what do users think?

Nan Rose: night. The food was great and the service was excellent. Decor in the bar is outstanding. We wanted to show some family visiting from out of state an authentic Milwaukee bar and Von Trier helped us do that. Thank you!The reason I gave the food a four was because it came in a basket and not on a plate. Not a big deal, I know the baskets are reusable. We definitely hope to go again the next time we are in Milwaukee.

Arcadio Bolaños: For many years Von Trier has been the quintessential German bar in Milwaukee's east side. I used to live so close to it and now that I'm no longer in Wisconsin I miss it. Von Trier is, I should say, more German than many of the German bars I've visited while traveling in Germany. Tradition is important, and you can see that from wall to wall, ceiling to ceiling, you can see that in the decoration and the style. Von Trier has an impressive and large selection of beer, and I think for any fan of German beer, or just good beer in general, you'll definitely find something to stimulate your palate and placate your thirst. I visit Wisconsin once a year and I always come back here. Good memories and good beer. As it should be.

Benjamin Polony: One of the best bars in Milwaukee. Great German beer selection, warming interior, and a friendly crowd.

Kristin D: I hadn’t been here since they started serving food, so when family was visiting and wanted to go out for German, we decided to try it. The atmosphere is just as I remembered - it actually feels like you’ve stepped into an old world beer hall in Germany, with painted murals and steins lining the walls. We got there during Happy Hour, when some drinks are $6, a great value. There was just one hardworking server, and several guys behind the bar, but when we asked one about drinks he suggested we just wait for the server to come to our table. Seemed like they could have helped her out.Everybody loved the food they ordered, sausages with delicious condiments like radish slaw and caramelized onions, spaetzle and sauerkraut, and fish fry with potato pancakes. Truly some of the best German food in a very German city.Dietary restrictions: I didn’t notice any specifically gf items on the menu, but I requested a sausage without the bun, and found it to be a very satisfying meal. The server did inquire if I had Celiac or a sensitivity, showing they have an awareness of how to handle food allergies.

Wioletta's Polish Market: what do users think?

Heather Hintz: One of my favorite weekly stops, Wioletta’s does not disappoint. In addition to Polish groceries Wioletta’s has an excellent assortment of sausages, cheeses and meats. The fresh baked breads and pastries are delicious and they now offer beautiful desserts on a regular basis. The premade meals and soups are always good and have ample portions.

Tim Ware: Great pastries

Carl Bolton: Excellent deli and grocery store !

David Johnson: Picked up the fresh polish sausage for Easter. Old world goodness

Thomas Shannon: Best Deli in Milwaukee hands down.

Chance Bubolz: This place is such a nice gem close to the downtown area. A nice little market with a great selection of deli items, baked goods, snacks, ready made meals, liquor etc.It was nice to explore what they had to offer. Although signage for certain items were in Polish, I thought that was cool and gave me a chance to google the item and find out a little bit about it.I will most definitely be coming back - I’m excited to share the items here with family and friends as they are unique. Love it!

Donald Vance: Very nice deli.

Tim S.: Wioletta's Polish Market is long overdue here in the Milwaukee area. They carry a wide variety of products from the United States and Poland. I would say my favorite is the fresh Polish sausage. Wioletta's gets it shipped in from a place in Chicago that I used to go to get Kielbasa when I lived there. All of their food products are fresh because being the only Polish market in Milwaukee, everybody goes there and they also sell out quickly so you have to be on the ball if you want something.

Adam Czajkowski: Fantastic store run by fantastic people. Thank you for everything you make available to us in the Milwaukee area.

Todd: Great little neighborhood market with a number of Polish staples. Great mustard and pickled options. They have multiple types of kielbasa in the case. They also have a decent selection of European beers and liquors.I also have a nice array of artisan bread choices.

juli Stojsavljevic: Wonderful array of Polish and eastern European goods. Very clean store and friendly staff!

Theresa Talaska: Wioletta's is by far the best.....love it there and there is always something new.....

Mary Hendrickson: Enjoyed the Chicken Noodle soup and the Heat/Serve meal with Pork Roast, Red cabbage and dumplings. All were excellent. Enough for 2 meals

Rupena's Fine Foods: what do users think?

Maureen Lange: Ok, so we have had Italian sausages from every single "fantastic" deli/shop/store in the area for the last 20 years and Rupenas is the BEST as far as Italian sausages go. Absolutely blows Gloriosos, Ray's, Sendiks, Karl's, and Robert's away. And do not miss their turmeric famous chicken breasts either. So glad we stopped by, it was a staple in the family 25 years ago as our extended family ordered this food often but once Aunt Susie died we never had it anymore. We make the trek from the west side of Waukesha now often but it's ok, we LOVE it!!

Carmen Ganter: I loved the quality of the meats I purchased from the meat counter. Especially the cut to order bacon!

Kathryn Humitz: Went to Rupena's for the first time in years today, I had heard they have a new cafe and I wanted to check it out. Let me tell you, I haven't felt that welcomed anywhere in a long time. Everyone said "hi" they were friendly, they were helpful. They are a bit more expensive than the big chains but far better customer service. And my sandwich from the cafe is delicious. Thank you Rupena's.

Giacomo Fallucca: Amazing service and amazing food and amazing meats

Gabrielle Truax: Tried the coffee bar today! The batista was amazing and so was the coffee!

Jason Stiehm: Great place. Shop there whenever I can.

wayne heston: Deli, Butcher, Bakery, Employees... all fantastic!! The cheddar loaf is sooo good!!! Their unique & delicious "novelty" brats are AMAZING!!! Too many to list but the pizza brat is a fav! Best hot ham & rolls too! Employees are extremely friendly & helpful! Wonderful people. Great neighborhood feel.

Megan Kemmerling: Thankful for the coffee bar and sandwich shop today! i ran out of coffee and a quick trip to Rupenas saved me. Got my coffee fix and a sandwich for lunch real quick and I was on my way. Need to do this more often.

Kayla Schweitzer: New cafe is wonderful. Was excited to check it out and did not disappoint. Caramel macchiato - Yum!! Caprese Panini also good. Will be back to try more options. Skip your chain coffee shops go here!

Kathie Halvorsen: Very helpful & patient. Great meats

Peter Westray: Fine food and grade A service

Chris Berrang: Really wish they would keep the hours the same throughout the week. Other than that they are an amazing small establishment having the best meats and meals.

Kegel's Inn: what do users think?

Steve G: . I found Kegel's Inn was easy to work with, had straightforward package pricing and invoicing

Amanda A: to split with a side spaetzle. Honestly the spaetzle may be the best I've ever had it was delicious. Our server also recommended the carrot cake and we were so glad that we listened because it was so divine. Service was amazing - got in shortly before 6pm with minimal wait and our server was very attentive.

Jose Tolentino: did a GREAT job advising us on our entire order; he was VERY knowledgeable, personable, wonderfully good-humored and very efficient/professional! Loved the cozy Old World ambience of Kegel's: brought back fond memories of my trip to Germany back in the 80s to Munich, Frankfort, and Rothenberg! It really was like dining in a true German Inn!! I would definitely come back to Kegel's!!!

Faith Friedrich: Enjoy their fish fry and beef Sauer braten. Chicken sausage is good too. Average dollar amount for restaurants. Professional employees. There is outdoor dining too.Kid-friendliness: Child friendly indoor dining is safest as restaurant is on a busy street.

Lisa Moore: Old world charm found in this 4 generations owned restaurant featuring authentic German cuisine. You'll find all the favorites here of pork shank, rouladen, sauerbraten, spaetzl to name a few. Half sized portions are offered for 3 of the favorites for smaller appetites. Friendly servers and delicious food. Lovely hand painted murals decorate the walls and classical music is played during dinner

Stephanie Kuenzli: Eh. Overpriced food with slow wait service. Wasn't very impressed. The sun streaming into the dining room made it uncomfortably warm as well. My kitty bitty $5 salad was laughable. The perks were the outdoor live music in the Biergarten and the bartender. After we were done with our dinner, the outdoor area was very refreshing, the music was awesome and the tender behind the bar was very prompt and friendly.Doubt I'll go back for dinner, but I'll definitely come back for the Biergarten.

Glorioso's Italian Market: what do users think?

Mary Igowski-Bloechl: Потрясающее место для изучения.

Max Flanagan:

Luke Schlough:

Jesse Mcneil: Great place for food and Italian goods.

B G: Many varieties of everything...❤️

a johnson: Good Italian ham.

Jessica Campbell: Hands down best place ever

johnnyitup: Love this place! And the deli!

Robert Powell: always friendly great service.

The Bavarian Bierhaus: what do users think?

Holly Eisenhardt: We had our high school reunion in the large basement room in Oct. I can't possibly recommend it enough! Kurt went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful space to party in that met our specifications for sound, table placement, drink options, and plenty of food! The combination of their table decor and ours made a customized, special atmosphere to celebrate in. I received so many compliments on the party and really the Bavarian Bierhaus did it all!

Patrick Griffin: If you are in to German food then this is the place for you, but do not go thinking that it is truly authentic as this has an American spin on it. Still delicious though. The only problem we had with this place was that it was extremely loud inside and crowded. Many people were standing around the tables and hanging out rather than sitting in their seats, which made it feel very cramped and increased the noise level significantly.Parking: Huge open lot with plenty of spotsKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and the polka band allows the kids to come up and play instruments with them and have a good time. They will even play and sing happy birthday, which is always fun

Norey: Food was out of this world! We went thinking it’d be a little kitschy but quickly found a new favorite. Kasespätzle was absolutely incredible - I could drink that sauce, the noodles were perfectly tender, and the toppings balanced it perfectly. Service was great and the atmosphere was a fun mix of a traditional beer hall and a beautiful Milwaukee venue. Can’t wait to go back!Vegetarian options: They have a small menu with beyond and beet options of German and German/American classics. Additionally, a couple of the main menu options are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Gluten - one of my party members cannot eat gluten. They were able to order any of the sausages. Many additional gf menu options. Not the place for someone who is vegetarian AND gluten free, but the options are good for our mixed diet party.

Woodman's Food Market: what do users think?

Felicia Hayden: Store is clean and well organized you can always find someone if you have questions!Prices are great too

Stanley Johnson: Great selection of products. Competitive prices. Wide aisles. Checkout lines are usually pretty long. Overall our destination shopping trip to stock up. Usually spend $150-$200.As you can see my first review was a 4. Today's experience moved that down to a 2. I spent $155. It might have been my last shopping trip to Woodman's. There was a large group of workers rearranging products on the shelves. In order to do that they had filled shopping carts leaving them blocking the aisles. It seemed like poor scheduleing. There were gaping holes on the shelves where merchandise had been removed. Many of the workers involved appeared to be from "Corpoate" which leads to my REAL complaint. I have been shopping at the store many times and have learned where the products I frequently buy are located. Not today! It seems that there is some retail strategy that customers may buy more if they are forced to traverse the aisles. I left the store as a disgruntled customer.

Beck K.: Woodman's is one of my favorite places to go! They have everything and more, and at amazing prices! It's a bit of a hike for me, but definitely worth it. Just make sure to set aside an hour or so to go shopping, because you're going to find way more than what you're looking for. It's always an adventure at Woodman's!

Amber G: My local store. It's got its own charm, mostly the low prices!! Love this place cause they have everything and are employee owned. Don't ever sell out. Monopolize our food and we're done for. Go Woodman's!

YolandaIs Seeking KNOWLEDGE (Y Seeking knowledge): Woodman's has a large variety of goods. Seems like every visit I stumble upon something I didn't notice from prior trips that I am impressed by. This trip happened to be the clearance items in the front as you exit the store. I always see people ambling around in the corner, looking at very meager choices. I've noticed it growing over time and finally took the time to meander over myself as my curiosity was piqued by the milling crowd there. I found very reasonably priced items, and end up not having to cook dinner after a very long and busy day to boot! Liquor store has nice selections and private vendors with samples quite often. Worth the experience...

Jade Peridot: I don't care to shop in the daytime, for 1 reason, ok 2 reasons...!FIRST reason; let's say it is 1:30pm and you are completely without an idea as to where they are hiding that damned Taziki sauce.. Hmmmm... it is a miracle if you can find an associate that actually knows where any item is located with a majority giving you incorrect directions all the way across the whole storeSeriously, my readers, it is the NIGHT SHIFT associates who know, not only do they tell me the ACCURATE location but physically accompany me to it's exact location!!! INDEED!SECOND reason; most of the dept associates lack personality, as in they don't have oneBUT again, the night shift is always cheerful, eager to chat, assist and have you leave with everything you came for and smiling!!!!just gotta love 'em !!!!!!

Dyanne Boyd: Great food prices

Nicole Williams: Like the large variety. Be ready for long lines.

Chuck Genne: They have everything you need. Sometimes it's a little hard to find things because it's so big. Just don't be afraid to ask for help

WürstBar: what do users think?

Michelle Haarklau: We had margaritas on the rocks, so good. Cheese Curds, and pretzel bites. The cheese curds were so good and in squares, the pretzel bites were soft and what you'd expect from pretzel bites. We took their shuttle to the Luke Combs show. The drivers were awesome. The only complaint I have is after the show a group of us couldn't figure out where our bus was. After talking to a person who worked at the stadium told us, that bars from a certain area of the city had different loading areas. Then when we finally found it the lines to get on were awful, people shoving and standing in the road. It was a free-for-all. We were at the front of the "line" and by the time the bus got to us it was full because they picked up people at the back of the line. Otherwise, the bar and staff were wonderful the price for the tailgate party was worth it. With a DJ, corn hole, beer pong, and as much as you want to eat and drink. I would highly recommend it.

Matt Tollander: I’ve only ever been here for drinks, so I can’t comment on the food. Shuttle service is excellent, and service has been great from my experience.
