Melissa Wandrey: I have been going to this place for over 20 years and it has been consistently great! I have brought countless people with me and they all love it. Best gyros anywhere. Chicken sovlaki is amazing.Best baklava in the area as well!Highly recommend this place for a true Greek food experience!
Daily Driver: Nice and cozy little place to pop in for authentic Greek food. ADA compliant entrance and seating. Food was great, as well as the service. Some aspects is the decor and walls could use a good deep clean. Dust bunnies up on the cloth window coverings, and a few other places here and there. Overall, a great place to get food, I’d come in again.

Garrison Everett: I was visiting Milwaukee with my SO and we love exploring news restaurants. Big foodies. She scoped out Apollo. As someone who typically only eats gyros when visiting a Greek restaurant, I decided to branch out here and was not disappointed. I ordered the spanakopita with potatoes. The spinach was nice and chewy. The potatoes were tender and well-seasoned. It slaps! Highly recommend this place. You may have to wait a little longer than some other places, but I’m pretty sure that’s because they are making most of these dishes fresh. Delicious!

Talara Hartman: Everything I have had has been great. Their quality and flavors far exceed any other Greek restaurant in the area. Oakland Gyros is legendary for good reasons. I'm coming back.Parking: It's a busy intersection. Closest parking spots may have meters. Or free park around the corner and enjoy a walk.
Brian .Castillo: After hearing great things of Oakland Gyros for years I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, the pick up gyro I received was without a doubt the blandest, soggiest meat I've tried. I opted for salad instead of fries and that too was bland and wet. It seemed like I got the old soggy bag of lettuce. The pita bread was soft and soggy as well. Only redeeming factor was the friendly staff inside the establishment. I will not be returning especially if there are better Greek options nearby.Edit: I tried the gyro platter again and it was delicious. First time must've been a fluke. Would recommend!Parking: Street parking, availability depends on time of day

J: the Greek potatoes were apparently very popular. I had the Moussaka which was very good. Gf and I split a saganaki which was very nice when it was still hot. Once it cools down it does get a but harder to eat.Overall will come again.
Anna R: We stopped in one night for dinner, the restaurant wasn't busy, which was expected for a weekday night. The café has plenty of tables and a little bar area, and lots of Greek décor and videos to transport you to Greece. The servers were very attentive and pleasant.We ordered the Keftedes for an appetizer, they were so delicious! Well seasoned and the perfect crispy shell with soft pita bread. We also ordered the Zeus and the Lemon Baked Salmon. The Zeus was well seasoned and included lamb, pork, and beef in a pita. The Lemon Baked Salmon was a little to lemony for my taste but still good, I just wish I had something to cut the lemon flavor a little bit. Overall, the food and drinks were good, and would be back to try more. I did find the prices a little high for some items, including the drinks, some more worth it than others.Parking: Parking is on the street or nearby parking garages, most of the time it is challenging to find parking

Gyros does not even compare anywhere either! This place is my new favorite local place! You guys rock!Vegetarian options: I had the Popeye spinach omelet, Wow! I couldn't believe how great it is! Donna Guerrero: I will be so sorry to hear that they are closing there doors. Before Covid I use to go there frequently. But when they shortened there hours I wasn’t able to go there as much. There genius idea of the soup and salad bar was more then fantastic. No one in the area makes the best soup. I remember when there smoking ban started they would allow people to take there coffees outside to have a smoke.
