4worldlovers: Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) will only be accepting sick and injured stray cats in need of immediate medical attention from Thursday, August 31 through close of business Friday, September 8, 2023, to manage the health of the cats in their care. Due to the unprecedented intake of both cats and dogs that MADACC has been experiencing for several months the cases of feline panleukopenia in their cat population have increased. The Pabst Theater Group is launching the “Pabst for Paws” fundraiser to benefit Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) and their efforts to create a new outdoor exercise and play area for stray, unwanted, abandoned, mistreated, and injured dogs. The new outdoor space, now in its final phase of construction, will provide dogs with a private, year-round retreat from shelter stress with opportunities for exploratory learning and mental stimulation.
