Blick Art Materials: what do users think?

Francesco Magestro: The prices are a little high, but they're quality materials and high-end supplies. The employees were nice and made sure to be available when we needed help.

riccardo liotta: Top artist's supply store

chris thomson: They have everything you need.

Chloe Anderson: Expensive but high quality selection. Does not carry some specialty items for painting like impasto, however. Good selection for architects -- vellum, compasses, metal rulers with corkboard.

tim polley: Great resource for Milwaukee artists and students.

Cori Jauregui: i love this blick! i am always greeted and there are always enough people to help me look for what i need. i swear they have EVERYTHING! for being a smaller store, i was shocked at the variety and inventory.

The Borg Cooking Show: Great place to get really solid mechanical pencils lift draftmatic and pentel. They also have sakura micron archival ink pens

Denise Schmitt: Our last art store. Excellent variety and staff. Parking s a challenge so I usually order online.

Cream City Clay, Inc. Pottery School & Art Studio: what do users think?

Elliott King: Lovely, welcoming instructor led a relaxing class. Accessible projects and everyone ended up producing something nice. Dopplestich!

Samantha Lobo: I've taken three wheel classes over the last 5 months and have greatly improved my throwing! The classes also give you access to studio time to practice. The culture and community within the studio during practice times has helped me grow my skills too. The students, members, and employees are always encouraging and helpful. It's been a lot of fun!

Abby Nicola: Had a great experience with the hand building class. The studio had a wealth of materials and tools to work with. Our instructor Sammy was very knowledgeable and helpful with all skill levels. The class was very well organized. I would definitely come back.

Alex Leutenegger: Colleen is absolutely lovely and the classes are so supportive. I've been here for one class and can see myself coming back again and a again

John Bowers: Great studio for pottery.

Joe Boring: Had a great time doing the couples hand building class. Lots of fun, and really nice people.

Emily Anderson: , was experienced, kind, had an extreme amount of patience, and was really funny. I would definitely do another class here - we all got 2-3 pieces to pick up in a later date!

Bridget H: I recommend a class for anyone whether you are creative, want to get in touch with your creativity or just need to clear your head and get out of the house. I took the raku pottery class which was lots of fun and a great value! The studio is large and well supplied. Everyone is very supportive even if you are a beginner. Colleen really is good with people and makes sure you have a great experience. There was a couples date night wheel throwing pottery class going on and I was surprised at how many men really enjoyed it.There is also pottery available for purchase if you would like to just stop in for a one of a kind gift.

Sharmaine Cheers: It was nice and they were very friendly.

Missie Roeseler: Date night couples pottery night was an excellent Christmas gift from the husband. Our instructor Alanis was kind, courteous, helpful and fun. Could have used an extra 30 minutes for someone never making pottery before. But the experience was fun and addictive! Signing up for classes to make more!

Erica Rodenbeck: I took a wheel class here over the summer, and then signed up for a hand-building class that is currently in session. Both experiences have been great. The teachers and rest of the staff are knowledgeable and approachable. There's a fabulous selection of glazes, and the layout is really relaxing and easy to navigate.I had taken classes at another local studio in the past, but Cream City Clay is way better. There's a nice variety of classes, and the staff encourages novice potters, which was not really the case with the other place.

Karolyn Eide: One of the best ceramic studios I've been to!! Creative and supportive environment

Murray Hill Pottery Works: what do users think?

Allyssa Clapsaddle: Enjoyed every second of our one time class! Sarah and Brandy were great and gave just enough instruction and help to allow us to make great pieces, but also feel accomplished with what we made. I’ll be back for sure!

Morgan Pritchett: We had such an amazing time and actually learned a lot about pottery. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Sheri Croce: My husband and I took this class yesterday and not only had so much fun but we also learned so much. Such great teachers and a great environment too!

Daniela Ochoa: The class size was perfect, the price for the one time beginner class was reasonable, and the instructors I had on 8/22 were so kind and helpful! I had so much fun and I can’t wait to take my friends/family to make their own pieces.

Olivia Due: We booked a one time class for my birthday and Brian was very helpful and flexible with scheduling. Our instructor Amberly was amazing, so fun and helpful. Made us all feel successful even though we were beginners. Such a fun experience and would totally go back!

Morgan Vilar: Such a fun and relaxing experience! Sara and Amberly are the absolute BEST teaching duo. They are calm, kind, and encouraging. I will absolutely be back. What a wonderful way to spend my soon to be birthday and a Friday evening.

Alvaro Perez: Great experience and the trainers were friendly and super willing to help

xavier gom: Very fun environment, came in with no experience and now I know how to make a teapot.

Heather Harris: gave my team and I a chance to learn something new and destress all while having a lot of laughs! I would highly recommend checking this place out to all of my friends and family

Frank Atchison: 5 stars! We took a one time class and the new owners Brian and Holly were excellent!Fun date night. Highly recommend.

Jeannette Daft: Lovely experience.

Jaclyn Weir: My husband and I took a private couples throwing class and loved it! We’d never done it before but Brian was so patient and helpful that we both left with some pieces we were proud of. We all had masks on the whole time and felt safe during the two hours. Highly recommend for a fun date night.

Haloren Mellendorf: I was a member of Murray Hill Pottery Works for about two months and absolutely loved my time there. The new owners have poured so much time/energy into the space and it really feels like a little community. I had the freedom to come and go as I pleased, ask questions and talk with other artists. Highly recommend.

Courtney Johnson: The new owners are fantastic and the place is great. It was my first experience with a pottery class and I loved it. It was a fun girls night out and I will for sure do it again!!! Thank you so much for your expertise and patience! And the best thing is - I actually like the pot I made 😂!!!

The Farmhouse Paint Bar & Banquet Hall: what do users think?

Shannon Marusik (Countdowntocampingseason): What an experience in the heart of Milwaukee! Great host, nice, safe setting complete with authentic tacos and real margaritas. They did an excellent job and my group couldn't have been happier with then end result of our board painting and dinner. Excellent value for this experience. A true gem.

Milwaukee Towns Collectibles: 4 & 3/4 stars, food was delicious & love the whole restaurant but always thinking there is room to improve & develop new dishes. First time I have ate @ “RedTaco” kind pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely feel like I could keep talking about this place, plenty more to try on the extended menu.

Shira Mizel: This place and the staff are fantastic! I came here as part of a girls trip for my birthday and they were wonderful to work with. We had a private class with Francesca and it was a blast! Most of us had never really painted but somehow we all went home with a great looking painting. The catering from Red Tacos went super smoothly and it was lovely to eat amazing Mexican food while we waited for the canvases to dry. Highly recommend for your next event!

Justine Filapek: , but all the guests worked together to keep from spilling anyones brush cup or drink. I believe just one drink glass hit the floor and broke. But anyway, if you're looking for more to do than just sit in a bar or watch TV, this is definitely recommended. No experience or skill required. I have already registered for a class during Frida Fest in July. Looking forward to more classes. I would make this at least monthly outing when more classes are able to be scheduled. Give it a whirl!

Nedaa Amro: Amazing and beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍

Chantilly Mace: due to time constraints with another obligation. The dance performances were captivating and the music sounded great! An outstanding event at a super location! I will be back!

Samantha Rosado: Our bartender was amazing! First time at the farmhouse and service was wonderful... Thank you Azucena...

Andrew David Greer: Cynthia was our teacher and server. She was wonderful. We had do much fun, we'll definitely go back.

Phylisha Wright: I came here for a group paint event and had such a great time! The facilities were so clean, smelled amazing, and was decorated so cute! Also, the instructor was so nice and so patient with us. This place is such a gem and I would definitely recommend it for a fun girls night out or even for a fun family night out.

Tara Harwood: Love this place! Great creative outlet! Fun for whole family. Francesca was amazing instructor and funny/interactive. Will come back!

diane czeszak: Awesome experience for Miss Saint Francis, Sophia Schaubel & Miss Saint Francis' Teen, Isidra Malkowski to learn about Milwaukee Makerspace AND be the official judges for the 1st annual Pretty Pallet Pageant. Congratulations to all the creative teams. Thank you to Sarah Hapto for organizing the event!!

Ian Wolfe: Awesome space

Scott Swanson: Coolest place on Earth.Provides access to tools and talent that are available nowhere else. $40 monthly membership fee provides unlimited 24-hour access to here and a larger facility in St Francis.Check the website for the next open house tour. If I recall, there are 500 to 600 members at present.

Sarah S: Incredible community with endless opportunities to learn and make new friends! Not to mention an amazing bargain👍

R L: Makers Gotta Make - Great space for Maker Memberships

PA Z: I’m new and everyone has been amazing, Helpful, kind and friendly. So super excited to jump in!!! So many people put so much time and energy into this space. You are expected to bring love, compassion and assistance and clean. You make a mess clean it up. This is a do-ocracy, does it need to be fixed, talk to the right people, learn and help. This is a space that takes everyone to participate, communicate, have ears and eyes open to be safe for yourself and others. It’s a great group. So happy to have found this group.

Keith Manson: I am new to Milwaukee makerspace but it has been a great experience! As a member have access to lots of great tools after training. The training is the key! I am learning lots of things that I never thought I would.

Rebecca Mortensen: Absolutely fabulous! Great people for starters. Every type of machine you can think of. Lots of classes to participate in. Variety variety variety! ❤️

Kest Schwartzman: A fantastic resource; I'll be back for sure!

Ted Tang: Great organization for light and hard core creators. $40/month fee

Traci Gondek: I'm biased because I now belong to this group, but it's incredible. Pretty much any craft or "making" skill is supported, and you can find people who are knowledge about everything. It's a Milwaukee gem that is known about, but not nearly enough! Currently there are two locations, one in St Francis and one in Bayview.

Keith Woeltje: Great makerspace

Lance Lamont: Great community, lots of opportunities to learn new things!

Jim Dufek: Awesome place! Glad to be a part of it!!! Just about any kind of equipment you can imagine is available.

Luke Burkholder: Best Makerspace in Bayview. j/k best Makerspace anywhere. Well, maybe second-best Makerspace after the Norwich location. It has everything you need to make stuff, and this location still has some legacy equipment the newer locale does not. Stop by on a Tuesday evening open meeting to see what it's all about.

Alexie Welton: Fun,chill, romantic place to go on a date. Good location.

Ashley M: Great pace for couples or friends night out. You just paint and drink! There also is a paint instructor to help you along the way to complete the painting.

Renee Fisher: Wonderful experience working with Splash! I booked a virtual class for a bridal shower. Julia made planning the event very easy and our artist Sarah did a great job teaching the group. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Jennifer Kordik: We absolutely loved this place! It was absolutely ADORABLE! They had it decorated for Valentine's Day up the wazoo cute photo ops everywhere and Valentine's Day themed drinks! Our instructor, Julie, was so sweet and patient with our group. The music was a nice touch as well!We had a great time and we thought the price matched with our experience. However, we found it odd when doing the wood stenciling that we were told to pick out our background/base color without confirming which stencil we wanted to do. Maybe something to think about for future parties!

P S: If you have ever wanted to go to Splash studio, now is the time to go. They have done an incredible job of decorating the entire studio in a Holiday theme. It felt like a winter wonderland!!

James St. Louis: Fantastic date night! Try the date night package, comes with a bottle of wine of your choice, a pair of roses and a little box of chocolates to share. The painting guide was friendly and fantastic, the special shots were DELICIOUS and the whole experience is a ton of fun.

R L: Great staff!

Faith-Ann Lorenzana: So much fun! Great for a girls night, a date night or even a little solo fun! Also has great mixed drinks!

McKenna Shaffer: Super fun classes for date night or girls night. The instructors make painting easy and they’re super helpful. It’s also fun to sit at the bar and purchase a little canvas and paint without the class.

Elizabeth Mischke: Very fun! Went during our girls weekend! Turned out rather well

Milwaukee School of Flower Design: what do users think?

Shelley Liscom: Today was the 1st day of the Introduction class--I learned so much and had a great time with the other gals in class. Excited to learn more tomorrow! Another great day of learning about floral design. Michael has so much knowledge and is willing to share and help everyone! I took this class JUST FOR ME, but if you were wanting to go into business, Michael would be a tremendous resource for you and his classes would definitely start you on your way to success!

Josh: Attending Michael's classes was a game-changer for me! Witnessing the stunning designs crafted under his guidance was nothing short of mesmerizing. Michael is a rare gem in the realm of flower designing, and his expertise is unmatched. The abundance of flowers and containers provided in his classes ensured a rich learning experience. I can't recommend his classes enough for anyone looking to master the art of floral design. Already putting my newfound skills to use, thanks to Michael's magical teaching!

Geri Estvanik: An amazing class..full of practical timeless design techniques. Amazing to take a table full of flowers and design a centerpiece worthy of a grand hotel lobby focal point. I came to class with basic knowledge but Michael tips and confidence in enhancing and fine tuning my design eye...was the best outcome. Being part of class I learned from other students success, which by being in class far exceeded any online experience I have had.Michael brings his passion with humor and practical common sense. He is so friendly and joyous you walk away feeling like you want to inspiring the world with your flowers.

Courtney Stefanski: I took the intro class in Chicago. I loved this class so much!! The class was small and intimate so much so that it felt like one on one instruction. I learned so much in such a short time, I only wish I could spend more time here learning and designing. I highly recommend this course and I am truly grateful for this experience!

Petya Vasilev: Great experience!Highly recommend to everyone interested in flower design!Michael is amazing!

Logan Quigley: provides a blueprint for anyone who’s interested in starting or has already started their own flower business. He even goes beyond floral design and explains the business practices that are necessary to ensure higher profit margins and more effective time management in this field.I can’t recommend Michael and the American School of Flower Design more. These courses are truly life-changing. They were for me and I know they will be for you too 😊

Sandi: I so enjoyed this class which exceeded my expectations. Left with gorgeous floral arrangements and tips and tricks from the basics of preserving flowers longer to arranging beautiful designs. Very worth the time and money.

The Grilled Cheese Dude: Merhaba. 900 $'lık dersler için ilave düğün dersi yoktur, ortalama kişi başı 50 $'dır. Alınmadığı takdirde herhangi bir ders iade edilebilir. Beklentilerin ötesinde bir deneyimdi. Aşağıdaki kadının yanlış okula gittiğini düşünüyorum. Veya rakip. Çünkü her çiçeğin güneşin altında olması sağlandı.

Michael'a teşekkür ederim!

Joanne Stuempges: Milwaukee Çiçek Tasarımı Okulu her bakımdan inanılmaz bir deneyimdir. Eğitmen bilgilidir ve dersler uygulamalı ve çeşitlidir. Çiçeklerle her çalıştığımda orada öğrendiklerimi kullandım.

Not: Google sitesindeki resimler park alanını ve çiçek sınıfının konumunu göstermektedir. Eminim Google bunları yerleştirirken bir hata yapmıştır.

Braise Restaurant & Culinary School: what do users think?

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!

Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.

Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!

Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. I love that the food menu changes every few weeks, one of the many reasons I keep coming back!Vegetarian options: They update their menu often and always mark if the food is vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free n

Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process. The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.

Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.

kimberly carrington-fields: Found what I needed

Donece Thomas: We found some vintage pictures of my sister from 52 years ago while cleaning out my mother's house. Took them to the custom framing dept and Jojo did a wonderful job matting and framing them. We were able to present them to her for her birthday and she was overjoyed! We have them proudly displayed going up the stairs. Michaels is a great place for framing!

Craig Pierce: Kristen helped my son and I with a project and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Great staff!

tim polley: Michaels overall was good. Products and goods for fine arts was okay, with a gap in specialty brushes. Location was not central but it worked for my need because i was in that area. I’d fo back if in that area.

Sandi Landowski: A lot of variety for every craft you can come up with, including cake decorating and candy making. Flower arrangement accessories and frames.

Joel Levison: I love this place

B W: I was searching for a metal stand to put up a wreath on my beloved mothers grave site. I didn't need a Shrphards Hook, and Michael's had exactly what I needed. It was affordable. They knew exactly what I was talking about, and I got what I needed.

Baron Walker: Very helpful. Everyone was so polite with a willingness to assist me in whatever it was I needed from them. Made me want to come back to them whenever I needed a product they sell for all my related endeavors.

Jim McGuigan: Nice selection and friendly staff.

Mitchell Reis:

Emily Schmit: Ashley and Daniela were incredible and were willing to work through so many iterations of our paper goods. When we had a package stolen from our porch, Ashley and Daniela worked quickly to overnight us a brand-new package. They were professional and caring, and ultimately did above and beyond what we could have asked for for our wedding. My soon-to-be husband and I are looking forward to more projects with Bayview and cannot recommend them enough!!!

Morgan Ruble: We had a wonderful experience at the Drink & Ink for a private event. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this unique and fun experience!

Lore Lisheron: Gorgeous custom design and printing work. Personable, friendly owner talked about history of the business as well as demonstrated printing on letter press.

Amy Topel: I can not RAVE enough about Bay View Printing. They did the wedding invitations, day of event signs, napkins, menus, place cards etc.... and thank you notes for my daughter's wedding. I live in Chicago, and I specifically went to Bay View in Milwaukee because my party planner recommended them. They were fun, easy and very professional to work with. In addition, they were creative and cool and very different than typical wedding invitations. I have trouble making decisions and they were so helpful with their guidance. I can not stress how happy I was with their work and what a delight they are to work with. I will 200 percent work with them on any events I have and will for sure go to them for any stationary needs I have in the future.Working with Bay View Printing is a no brainer - easy, fun, creative and very professional. I'm 100 per cent satisfied customer.

Morgan Schneider: Our team decided to do an outing at Bay View Printing Co. and it is one that we will never forget. We opted for a private drink and ink during the work day and it fit perfectly with everyone's schedules. Ashely and Scott were A+ hosts and our team had a blast learning a new skill, together. We would highly recommend your team take a trip to Bay View Printing Co. for your next team outing, too.

Tomás Goldsmith: I highly recommend the "Drink a& Ink" parties at Bay View Printing Co. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and left with a beautiful press. The best part is seeing everyone's creativity flourish.
