The Borg Cooking Show: Best movie theatre in Milwaukee.Although I can't recommend the "Nashville Hot" Chicken sandwich. It's about as Nashville as New DelhiHamburger 3.8/10Chicken tenders 8.5/10BBQ sauce ??/10 what the absolute nonsense is that sauce. No like I'm actually curious what that sauce is.

Christy D. Washington: The Times Cinema has been a Milwaukee movie house classic since 1935! The Times has shown many of the great cinema classics over the years. The Christmas classic Its a Wonderful Life is a yearly event at the Times at Christmas. The concessions such as the buttered popcorn are very fresh and delicious. Also, check out the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse and Avalon Atmospheric Theater which are own by the same business the Neighborhood Theater Group. The Times, Avalon, and Oriental are the only three remaining movie theaters in Milwaukee!

Matt Collins: Watched Shen Yun and enjoyed the show. The theatre was very nice however there were a number of people near us who needed assistance getting to their seats but no ushers stepped in to help them.
patricia limbach: A very nice venue for shows and performances. Seating is a nice size and comfortable. Well kept and maintained, with an appropriate amount of staff. Finding your seat is easy once you know the layout, however the staff was extremely helpful.Nice service area, but bar area seating was very limited to just a few tables. A large complex but fairly easy to navigate. Public parking structure about a block away but pricey.Would highly recommend this venue for a performance or show.

It was one of the finest and most modernly equipped motion picture houses in a residential district in the country, making it the prototype for "neighborhood" theatres at the time. It cost nearly $65,000 to build and boasted a seating capacity of 1,200. Music being an important accessory to the motion picture back then, the Downer had not only a Weickhardt pipe organ, but an orchestra as well.
In May 1990, the Downer re-opened its doors to the public after a much-needed facelift. Transformed into a twin-screener, the new Downer was bright and classic, with the auditoriums painted a cream color. The decorative molding was brought back to life with gold leafing and gaslight-type lanterns lined both auditoriums. New carpeting that resembled the original carpeting from 1915 now covers the Downer lobby and theatre floors as well as the partitions on the walls of the auditoriums. Molly Zabrowski: A small theater that shows Indie films. The building is older, quaint, yet well maintained. You walk into a small lobby and concession stand. Popcorn, Nachos, candy, soda and mixed drinks are options to purchase. There are 2 theaters, one to either side of the concession stand. Bathrooms are clean and tidy.

The Deacon: Situated in a nice neighborhood, nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Inside nice and clean and employees very welcoming. Definitely good spot for a first date.

Julie Merck: Fun night! The comedy was good and the bar was really lively, good beer selections. Parking is easy, easy walk to other fun places in the area. We didn't eat there, but the food looked good. The comedy show was shorter than in the past with less comedian "athletes" competing, just 4 total.

The drinks range from beer and mixers to high end craft cocktails. I really enjoyed the blood moon with fresh mint. The staff is friendly and helpful. The performers are quick witted and put on a great performance. The drinks, food, and admission fee were all reasonable. There is plenty of free parking. It is a fun way to spend an evening!

Bruce Heilbrun: Fun little theatre in the round! Three sides, almost every seat is great. Good acoustics. Great cookies, eat in the lobby, no food in the theatre! Drinks bought, at the show, allowed.
Mary Boyle: An intimate, modern and comfortable theater that is easy to get to with decent parking. Both Next Act Theatre Company and Renaissance Theaterworks use this space, and they are two of Milwaukee's best small theatre companies.

Alma L Scott: I cannot say enough about this. My first time seeing a musical and I'm so glad it was " Tina". The musical was phenomena along with the actors and actresses. I recommend seeing this musical every time it's in rotation..

Javier Alvarez: food was good for movie food. Drinks took a little longer to come out, I can understand there was only two bartenders. I do not blame today's society for not having enough workers. The drink still was delicious! Will definitely come back for future dates!

karmakarma: INCREDIBLE customer service!! Bar tender was wonderful and friendly. Had conversation with us about Godzilla and recommended the Godzilla Chicken Sandwich. Wait staff was AWESOME, we accidentally spilled our drink and they offered to make is a new one for us. Bartender was quick! Would recommend.
Michelle Perich: 1st time here, and I haven't gone to see a movie in a few years. Wow! What a lovely experience! Clean entrance with bar and seating in front of a jumbo screen to watch sports. We saw the Bob Marley biopic, which was excellent, by the way. Seating was so comfortable in reclining loveseats and chairs automatic everything. Trays next to you. You're able to order food and have it delivered to your trays so that you can eat and watch the movie. If you're not getting food, they're just taking up space, but the option is so great ? I can't wait to come back for date night without the kids. The only place comparable for me was the Rosebud, which had a similar set up for 20 years ago. It's a great experience, recommend 100%. Marcus has a winner here!!
