David Harley: I visited Kilwins today as part of a networking group. They were hosting for the local chamber of Commerce. It was my first time in the store and I was amazed at the variety of treats that they had available. Everything from peanut brittle to pecan turtles to a dozen flavors of ice cream -- bye bye diet! I won the door prize they were giving away and I can't wait to tear into it. I would highly recommend Kilwins for your decadent delights.

Steven Schmelzling: Can't help but stop by Kilwins whenever visiting BAYSHORE to get some of their can't be beat kettle corn and a chocolate dipped marshmallow. When the kids have been good we swing by since their caramel apples are a favorite of one of our sons while our other loves the chocolate dipped waffle cones. In the winter their hot chocolate is amazing made with real chocolate, same with their mochas. I'm always looking for a deal, so I walk out with their BOGO Fudge on certain days of the week as well. If they have chocolate raspberry get two!

Greeted as soon as we entered, offered a sample of popcorn and shown some of their recently stocked treats for Mardi Gras.

Christine Bain: Today I also learned they're pet friendly, they allowed my cat in with me on his leash so I could select my flavors. I was prepared to wait out front and have my boyfriend bring it out to me, but the staff told us we could come in together. A very pleasant surprise!Parking: Sometimes you can find street parking right in front, but there's a public lot just off the street behind the shop. Depending on the day/time you might need to feed the meters or use the MKE PARK app.
Mary Smith: I love all the vegan options they offer! This was my first time going with my hubby, we got a vegan mini cake and a vegan brownie sundae and they were both so delicious. The customer service was also amazing, they are so welcoming! We will definitely be back!

Philip Gissen: Walking my dog past Milwaukee's fantastic Zocalo Food Truck Park, I had a hankering for tacos and ice cream. Scratch was calling my name. I took a packed Salted Carmel to go along with a separate waffle cone and shoved both in my backpack. Once home, I breathed a sigh of relief the waffle cone survived the Sixth Avenue Bridge. The ice cream was delicious, so creamy, it seemed to be a cross between custard and traditional ice cream. Scratch is fantastic. It is one of the best ice creams in the country along with Molly Moon in Seattle, Graeter's in Cincinnati, Ample Hills in Brooklyn, and Salt and Straw in Portland.
Paula Anderson: First time there today 4-8-23. The gentleman in the truck was helpful and generous. The salted caramel waffle cone flavor is OUTSTANDING! It's also set up in a really cool place with at least 7 different food trucks in the spot, a bar to order drinks, and a place to eat. A sweet little gem we stumbled upon today.

Risto Eland (Christopher): Colf Spoons has a kitchy/old-timey feels with a twist. Behind the counter area is a fanciful mural.I samped a number of players. They had flavors such as: Tiramisu, Caramel Sea Salt, Cappuccino, Mango, Mixed Berry, Pink Mango, The staff was very pleasant.I ultimately chose the Chocolate Tai Chili. I hear it a local favorite. I doubt I'd have ever paired these on my own, but this was definitely 1 of my favorite, culinary, plot t³wists in a long time. Besides delicious, perhaps the words comfort & whimsical might describe this best. Just like the decor.

Absolutely delicious!The customer service is always a hit or miss, but atleast the Gelato is consistently good.Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and can snag a parking spot.
Zachary Smeltzer: Good gelato but as you walk in the door you’re punched in the face with the overwhelmingly chemical smell of Fabuloso cleaner. My wife had to wait outside because the smell was too strong. Secondly, though I understand the point of weighing each cup accurately - it was very time consuming and the line was growing quickly as we waited for each little gram of gelato to be weighed.

Rachel Snyder: Such a cute shop! They had a great variety of flavors and options to choose from. Their cookie dough ice cream has become a new favorite!!! It’s the ice cream of my dreams! The candy section was also phenomenal. We had so much fun browsing the selection and picking up candies that were completely new to us! Staff was friendly and the owner was super kind and welcoming. Vibe is laid back, taste tests are free and the ice cream is delicious! Try the slushies too. Close enough to the Elm Grove civic park to walk over in-between swim or s kids soccer game.

There’s nice seating both inside and outside and it’s never overly packed. There’s also a cute little bridge that the kids always enjoy going over because they get to see the fish.

You can definitely tell the difference between a frozen custard vs. ice cream based shake, and that's not a bad thing! The shake was so rich and creamy! The strawberry flavor was a little lacking but that's not always bad either. I tend to prefer more subtle flavors over in your face fake and artificial flavors. Could have used a few more strawberry pieces but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my strawberry shake!
