Daniel Kelley: Service: 5/5

David Sapp: The best vibe, amazing staff and the drinks just make it perfect!

Emily Anderson: I've been a few times at various levels. On this evening we grabbed a drink after a comedy show. This is a classic MKE bar with great service, creative and well-crafted drinks, fun decor and even better patrons. It's worth a stop...even if you just want to look at well-groomed men working behind the bar... You'll have a great time. You will find a conversation. The atmosphere is inviting and I intentionally ordered a fussy drink to confirm they care about their output... they do. They consistently do. And I love that about this place.Fall 2023: consistently great. Chris is dope.

Kelli Butenhof: Fun place for some cocktails. Cheers!

K: Really good drinks!! Fun atmosphere.

Anthony Jones: This bar at North Ave Market knows what they are doing. If you are fortunate enough to get Anthony as a bartender, you will surely leave happy. He is literally an encyclopedia of cocktails….what goes together, what flavors work well, what specific alcohols should be shaken at room temp versus on ice. My husband and I appreciate all of the above and more. His brief lessons based on my questions were like being in a drink making class. Overall, the drinks are phenomenal and the staff, including owners, go above and beyond to make you feel like a friend and not just a patron. Please visit! They are THEE best!

Xo Xo: 👍 They definitely make sure you have lots of fun time when you come here!! 😋They make some delicious drinks too!!🍷 🍶 🥃 🍸 🍺 🍹 🍵 🥤 🍾

Madyun Wilson: I would like to personally thank Brandon he has been a great and professional representative of the Bittercube organization. He made me the most amazing dirty martini I’ve ever seen. I’m privileged that you moved into the north side of Milwaukee, such a cultured industrial atmospheric space. Highly suggest the Heirlooms Crème de Flores. Hours get a little weird but call and they answer if they are open you’ll be welcomed!Updated: Friday July 2 2021 Still A No. 1 Fan ! Picture from today!

A.J. Magoon: Really great selection and good service! Ordered some bitters for curbside pickup and everything was very smooth and easy.

Courtney Ignatowski: Bittercube has such fun and innovative virtual cocktails classes. Each cocktail has it own unique spin on it. You can pick up all the ingredients at their location before class. Brandon & Ira make it an experience- definitely get the Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters!

Jennifer Roberts: An amazing time learning how to make the best Manhattans! A great find!! Great people & products!

Joyce Gardiner: Our bartender William was awesome...suggested drinks...served them with a smile...mixed cocktails to our liking! He also suggested items for us to purchase from the Bazaar! It was a great experience!

Jen Vega: The most amazing cocktails in Milwaukee. Great place in a place I wouldn't have expected. Goes to show you that MKE is truly up & coming.

claudio cortes: Yum to the max

Frances Algee: Nice atmosphere and good drinks

Brian Troutman: This place is now my go to spot. Meeting for a beverage before or after drinks it’s perfect! The live music on Friday is an amazing touch, and it’s wonderful to get the same bartenders every time!

Jake Dehne: Amazing place

Hector Santiago: Nice place

john weckwerth: Small but comfortable setting. Great music. Not the best acoustics but not bad either.

Christi Koch: Great little bar serving specialty ice cream drinks and Red Elephant Chocolates. You can rent out the space for all sorts of events. The staff is wonderful. The venue is well decorated. They showcase local art.

Lena Cole: 1st time here.... loved it! Beautiful place.... Banana toffee bourbon cake and the CaliFino Tequila are great choices! Thanks for the recommendation Barry the Bartender!! ?

Phil Chavez: Took my wife for a socially distanced wine and truffle pairing for Valentine's Day. Quality wine paired nicely with scrumptious truffles. Romantic ambiance and fun, friendly vibe. We had a great time and will be back.

Lost Whale: what do users think?

John Levine: Bartender is very nice and professional. Will go again!

Benjamin McNeil: around and looking at the details. We ordered small plates as appetizers, and they were fantastic and arrived quickly. The large plates took a fair bit longer to arrive, but all of us cleaned our plates. Seriously, my tiny sister actually scraped her plate clean with her fork and knife. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Prices for food were pretty high, though cocktail prices were a good deal.Vegetarian options: Butternut squash small plate was insanely delicious

Alex G: Great cocktails and good bartenders

Maia H: This is a small cocktail bar, so don't be surprised if you don't get a seat on the weekends, especially during happy hour! Happy hour is 4-6pm and it's half off their specialty house cocktails or draft beer. Our group liked the Wisconsin old fashioned and the negroni spritz the best. The bartender did a good job by herself when it was extremely busy. My only complaint is the music was too loud, we could barely hear each other talk.

Mark Steele: What a fun and memorable experience.Well-valued, well-crafted, well-executed, sanitary drinking spot to have a solid cocktail. Solely focused on guest experience with no other distractions like food.Engaging, personable, and professional staff will guide you through the experience. My mixologist actually had traveled to some of the areas where the spirits were produced.A plethora of board and card games on hand to keep as competitive back drop while you're soaking in the experience. No TVs.I wish there was a watering hole like this close to my house.Well done to the team.

Goodkind: what do users think?

Jingwen: Stopped by Goodkind for a post-ski meal with friends and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was full, but the friendly host managed to make us feel personally welcomed. Really enjoyed the vibe and the ambiance. The food exceeded our expectations across the board—from appetizers to desserts. I've already recommended it to several friends.

dusty roller: Update: the last couple times I have visited I paid $30 for a cut of meat that was absolutely garbage. Flavor was on point but the meat itself was rough. All hail good kind! Every visit has been mind-blowing

Madyun Wilson: Goodkind served me some of the best restaurant food I had in months. I'm extremely excited to take on new restaurants for you all in Mke. The staff was a 10/10 every person was friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. They greeted and seated us in a very populated area of the bar so we ordered cocktails immediately. They had a very impressive menu that out scaled most Chicago restaurants in prowess. The chef exceeded himself when our food arrived and the presentation and attention to detail were demonstrated very well. I would give them more than five stars if I could. They are located in Bay View so it is a drive, however they are one the best I've had so far and it's definitely worth it!

Foundation: what do users think?

Jeremy Miller: Classic go-to tiki bar in Milwaukee. Great for the first stop of the night or after dinner.Drinks: Great cocktails all around. I always lean towards the tequila drinks. Some of the cocktails you’ve got to watch out for since they’ll be real sugary.Atmosphere: look at it. Moody and pirate-like. It sets the scene for a good time. Although it is really loud and you’ll prolly have a hard time hearing company.Service: super quick. Order at the bar.

Nicole Hines: !

Jenna Wade: Fun and kitschy with fantastic tiki drinks - what more could you want?!?

a niutad: They don't serve food. However, you can bring in tacos from Taco Moto food truck. Service is great, and at times, I had to wait due to busy times. Drinks are excellent, too.Atmosphere: 4/5 …

Lauren George: Atmosphere: 5/5

Biirdheart: love this place! just came here while visiting from out of town and was so impressed with the staff, considering it was a Saturday night and packed full.there were only a few bartenders serving the entire place and they handled everything with speed and ease. when I had trouble getting an Uber, they made sure I was safe getting to my hotel. they are all professional and sweet.I absolutely will come back here again when I’m in town- specifically because of the bar staff

Charles Mark: Okay drinks at a good price but overcrowded because it's a white girl insta paradise. If you want a lot of mounted heads that no one within a 1k miles shot here is your place. The boilermaker deal is bomb af and reeks of gen Z BOH influence. Otherwise, learn how to smoosh fruit ingredients because these mf's busy af and deserve 3x raises.

Faithful Foodie: Amazing atmosphere. Amazing live jazz music. Amazing service. Amazing refreshments. Amazing time!Perfect adult environment to enjoy a great time out. Pfister is a wonderful hotel, but I would go again just to hang out at Blu!

Ivan Corona: The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Once you ascend to the bar, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the city. The addition of live jazz playing throughout the night was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.I came here solely for drinks, so my rating is based solely on this aspect.

Eric Mendeloff: Had dinner at the bar and served by Gary who not only was a superb bartender that made one of the best mojitos from scratch that I’ve had in a long time. Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. Again, food and service was awesome though!

J Kurtz: Recently, my husband and I stayed in town for a night. After the hotel lobby bar closed, we walked down to Stella's to keep the fun going. This bar isn't for everyone, and that's exactly what I love about it. They have a good amount of booze options, and a homey feel. Peaches, the bartender, is the fun sister/aunt I never had but always wanted. I will always stop in here when I'm nearby.

Buckley's Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Brandon Newman: Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!

Robert Whitehurst: A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I had to sit at the bar because I did not have reservations. To be fair it was Valentine's weekend.I took an out of town guest for dinner and his initial impression was that it was very "fancy". However, after dinner he confessed that it was one of the best meals he had every eaten. He travels for business and eats in many restaurants. He proclaimed that it is certainly a hidden gem in Milwaukee and would definitely return when he is in town.

Steven: Fried artichokes, cheesecake, and carrot cake were particularly amazing! Great service & ambiance too.Prices very reasonable for this high quality of food.

R Elle: , wine and divine desserts - everything was perfect. Carlie and Taylor “had me at hello” because they were both good listeners trying to understand my goals and needs. Buckley’s is higher end and worth it! Call ahead to get a sense of parking. Just amazing & thank you!

Katie B: in the cooking and baking. I had Mahi Mahi on a bed of pasta and pesto. Delicious. Appetizer special was bread served with a delicious cheese and a cheese spread. Just O.K. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Each dish had multiple tastes that came together beautifully. We will be back. Recommend calling to get direction on parking. We heard

Melissa Mondragon: The building is beautiful! The food was perfection. From the truffle fried artichokes to the seafood risotto and the salmon to the tuxedo cheesecake. The sangria had the most delicious combination of spices. This place is for foodies! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Joe to be your waiter. He's exceptional! 10/10 would recommend this wonderful establishment to everyone!

The Sofie: what do users think?

Dillan Koch: This is a great place to go for a first date between 6-10pm. It's not busy, the music wasn't too loud, and it has a very nice upscale comforting atmosphere. The staff was great, drinks were amazing with an average cocktail price of $12, and plenty of deals on beers, wines, margaritas, etc. They'll turn the music up at 9pm when it starts to get busier, and 10pm is when the main music event starts and it turns into a typical loud fun dance club. Both my date and I were very impressed. I highly recommend The Sofie!

teresa roque: Went here for New Year’s had so much fun had very good drinks atmosphere was great. Only thing is I got my coat stolen and I’m very very disappointed. 😭 called the next day, but I had no luck. Was hoping maybe it got left behind or if they had cameras, they could help me distinguish maybe who it wasAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Emma M: was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ivan Benitez: Great vibes after 10 pm

GAMERxPROx BRO: If you love house music, the sofie is for you

Daniel Towers: The house music on Wednesdays! Awesome vibe and lounge areas.

Lucky Joe's Tosa: what do users think?

Ivy League: Update: hands down nostalgic for us.....we love Lucy Joes! Danni is the tops!!!! 😍

Emily Anderson: I went on a saturday night by myself around 830? I havent been in a couple of years. It was busy. There seemed to be a lot of work xmas gatherings this night. The bar kept up with the demand really well. I ordered food and drinks to try. Everything came out very fast. The espresso martini was my favorite. The oaxacan campfire was up there for me too.I didnt like the sangria. The empanadas were good, the bacon wrapped chesnuts were great and were great the next day after some airfryer action. The deviled eggs were good in the moment. My service was fantastic. Again they were BUSY. This is a great place...be sure to keep it in your rotation... whether its dinner, drinks, or just some hang time.

Suzie Kane: We've been wanting to go here for awhile now. Love the atmosphere, the chandeliers are very pretty. The noise level was fine, we could have a conversation without shouting. This is more of a cocktail bar with heavy snacks. The Brandy old fashioned was spot on. We tried 3 different wings. The buffalo were pretty traditional good flavor not overly spicy. The BBQ bourbon had great flavor not spicy at all. Our favorite was gunpowder it has a little more heat and is a dry rub. The mozzarella sticks were huge and tasty, wrapped in wonton wrappers with a little boost of basil flavor the marinara was great for dipping. The fries were really good too. The service was good even though it looked like there was just one server. It was a busy night in the Village because of the Christmas market. We will definitely be back!!

Patrick: Great old fashions. Can't complain about the service or the drinks.

Balzac: what do users think?

Suzanne Boyd: Balzac has always felt a little overpriced for what it was, but sometimes worth it if that's just what we were in the mood for. However they are permanently closing soon.

Andrea Bartosh: First time visiting and had a fantastic experience! Extensive wine list, delicious dishes, cozy atmosphere, and great service. The "small plates" were larger than expected. A friend and I shared two small plates plus dessert and we were full. The brussel sprouts were fantastic, and the sauce with the pan seared snapper was so flavorful. The desserts also did not disappoint. The chocolate torte and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake were both delicious. I will definitely be back for the wine and the food. 5 stars!

Brandon: Dined on a Sunday night at Balzac after recommendations from a couple of friends. The menu is constructed around shareable small plates, though there are some bigger entrees. There is plenty of wine to choose from though we didn't order any.We were seated quickly. It looked like there were only two servers for the dining room so I won't hold service against them on this visit. For as many tables as the servers worked, they stopped by plenty of times and were very pleasant. Depending where you sit, tables can be a bit too small and cluttered for sharing small plates. We did our best to share a couple of plates and also ordered cheeseburgers. We shared Peach Caprese and Sac Mac. Peach Caprese took full advantage of Peach season and kept this side simple and clean. I was a fan. The Sac Mac was well sauced and well balanced. Another win. The burger was delicious and straightforward; not an overwhelming amount of toppings. The french fries tasted exactly like McDonald's fries. Unsure if this is intentional. I would've preferred a thicker, twice fried french fry but their fries were not bad whatsoever.Overall, the prices at Balzac are reasonable and the portions fall in line with those prices. The food is prepared simply; they allow seasonal ingredients to shine. Execution was fine. I wasn't blown away by anything I ate, but nothing I had was bad. Balzac strikes me as a simple, reasonable and consistent local restaurant. I left satisfied and my wallet was happy with me. All wins in my book!

manuel miranda: I was surprised by the place, the very good service and the delicious food and the drinks are special.
