They have what you need and more. Recently found myself mesmerized by the fresh blue crab waving their claws about while my wife gathered ingredients for a classic Vietnamese dish.

Their prices are the best out of all the other Asian stores in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. It seems like they literally have everything. Cemmy: They now carry more Japanese items and specialty Asian spirits like soju and sake. I'm so happy! I moved away and make the 30 minute drive about once a month to stock up.I could spend a small fortune in this grocery store. There is so much great produce and specialty produce stuff that you won't find in the local area stores. The kimchi they carry is amazing, too.Lots of choices for soy sauce, miso paste, gochujjang, and other ingredients that I would rather buy here than at the reg grocery store.Plenty of traditional dried ingredients used for medicine.I do recommend checking expiration dates. I've picked up a few expired things. Nothing too egregious and it was still usable in my opinion.The addition of home items has been great. I haven't had much time to browse, but there are lots of things I saw overseas that I haven't seen in a long time. Can't lie, I was so happy I could have cried.Prices are very fair, considering a lot of the shelf stable items are imported. I can only hope they continue to carry many Japanese items.Don't expect much help. They run lean and mean staffing wise. If you're not sure what something is, use your smartphone and a translation app. Or Google.

After going to several other Asian markets in my area, no one had half of the items I needed.I had been to the store once before for a difficult item! This time I was absolutely amazed to find the items that I needed, working very difficult to find! Some I couldn’t even find in the Asian market in Orlando Florida. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to take the time to make sure you have exactly what you need, before you leave the store! Prices are average to extremely low, compared to any other market in the area.Thank you for welcoming me into your store. I will be there probably every other two days for my healthy needs.

S K: I'm a newer customer and have shopped here a few times. The store is very nicely organized and clean- also smells amazing from the incence they burn in the store from time to time. The prices don't seem overly inflated like some other stores. I love the wide variety of food, cooking utensils, and personal care products I get to choose from that are easily accessible. I have even found buy 2 get one free deals which I hope they continue. Shopping carts are also nicely sized and well kept. I plan on becoming a regular here as I'm moving closer to this area. Keep up the great service!

El Love: I've never shopped there before but once I entered the store, I felt transported to another time, there were so many goodies to select from. I came to Sendik for the Friday Fish Fry which was tasty and a good deal. I bought some white wine there as well that was terrific! I needed time to take in this wonderful store, maybe on my next visit.
