Daync Studio: what do users think?

Muhammad Abdulaziz: Lovely group of instructors, They support and always push you to do better.

Kelly R: The atmosphere is fun and inclusive. The socials are very good

Jason Lau: What are you waiting for?? JOIN and START your salsa/bachata journey!!! The affordable first month deal makes it easy to try and you don't need a partner! You rotate and meet everyone anyways which is my favorite part! Everyone has their own unique feel and touch and that's what makes it fun.Whether you are a total beginner or have danced before, you will find fun, engaging classes to learn combos or further solidify fundamentals.Aside from the classes, you will also find a vibrant community of people from all walks of life who are passionate about dance and growing together.I am sad to be leaving Milwaukee, but I am so grateful to have found my people, as well as myself, at this studio. I hope you will too. Best wishes!

Katherine Frances M. Wilson: Josh and Amber have done an excellent job supporting the Latin dance community in Milwaukee. Daync Academy is a great spot to social dance. The floor was smooth, the room stayed cool the entire time, and people were so nice.

Blu Jo: Excellent teachers! Grand time attending the social.

ejk2911: They don't really focus on technique. Just a bunch of turn patterns. At the end of the class everyone is usually doing their own thing. But it's nice that they teach a lot of dance patterns. Most places are stingy with turn patterns.

Zoraida Salcedo: Great music, great people, love to the art of dancing, great ventilation.People that come really love to dance and the ambience is awesome. Love not having to deal with drunk people——I love going to Daync, the space is awesome, very well ventilated, the good to dance is super comfortable. The DJs they bring are really good, super great music. They have built an amazing community, super safe to dance and the level is great. The performances they bring are breath taking.I wish they were closer and I was able to go more often.

Leslie Gibbs: Nice space, great space for a nice gathering of up to 80 people

Nestor Murillo: The instructors care about you and your dance journey. Highly recommend if you want to learn bachata or salsa!

Jose Carrasco: Friendly environment, a lot of practice and effective repetition. I always have fun and time flies!

Rebecca Augustine: This is our night we look forward to weekly! We love the "family " of wonderful and supportive friends that we have made here all while gaining a skill and appreciation for Latin dance from Josh and Amber. They are so patient, kind and give clear and concise dance instruction mixed with lots of humor! Such an outstanding approach and it makes Daync studio the best studio we have ever studied through!

I've used several of these services and love them all!

It is a welcoming establishment that gives the community of Bayview the feel of friendliness and good old fashioned neighborhood warmth. Taking ballroom lessons with Martin allows me to develop my passion for dance, Delaware House also offers many other wellness services, massage, fitness, various classes and physical therapy. I started taking classes with Matt and Betsy soon after, and have been visiting the Delaware House on a weekly basis for classes ever since! It's a very clean, open, and well maintained facility with a wide variety of services. I come up from Racine each week, and I know of others who come from out of town as well to take advantage of all the Delaware House has to offer. I highly recommend checking it out!

Caitlyn Preisler: Delaware House is a fun and inclusive place to learn to dance. The Friday night socials at the Delaware house are a blast!

Alba E. Calderon: I see Laura at the Deleware House for massage and she is a master at her craft. She stays informed on upcoming methods in massage therapy and has really worked with me while tending minor injuries from running, biking and swimming.

darla helland: My husband and I take ballroom classes here and have a great time. You can do private lessons or group classes. If you're not into dance they have a trainer to work on getting/keeping you in shape, yoga for the inner you, massage therapy if you over did it, acupuncture, physical therapy and an aesthetist to make sure you look your best. It touches on all aspects of wellbeing.

UWM School of Continuing Education: what do users think?

Anne Siegel: Osher rocks! In preparation for teaching a Zoom class to elementary school children in French, I contacted one of the Osher members and received some specialized tools for moving forward with my project. Her 'tips' helped me lead the virtual class with a minimal amount of missteps. I gained a lot of confidence after working individually with Laurie, as well as attending her regular Zoom tutorials for all Osher members. Love the variety of programs, too!

Gwen Benner: Osher at UWM has provided a plethora of stimulating programs for lifelong learners in a community of fellow students who have become colleagues and good friends.

Priscilla Camilli: I have enjoyed many Osher courses. I especially have gained insightsfrom Paula Friedman''s book discussions and Kathy Johnson's film analyses and other courses. I have also been happy to teach classes on art history.Osher makes retirement fulfilling!

Sue Burwell: There is such a wonderful variety of courses offered, and a great way to spend time learning, especially when we can't be together in -person.

Marvin Wiener: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is an adult learning extension of UW Milwaukee that has brought learning experiences to many intellectually curious senior citizens in the greater Milwaukee area. It differentiates itself from other adult learning activities by the breadth of topics, the active participation in the organization by over 100 volunteers, the caliber of the presenters, and the continued pursuit of excellence through surveys of members and evaluation of the classes offered. The high caliber of the organization is reflected in its rapid adoption of virtual teaching made necessary by the COVID pandemic. The Institute didn't miss a beat in moving to a virtual platform. It has the technical expertise and member dedication to pull that off almost seamlessly. I'm proud to be a member of an organization that recognize me as an individual and values my input and membership.

Chris Schlosser: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a great way to continue to learn new and interesting things - as well as meet other people. They have done a great job of shifting to all online classes during the pandemic. These classes have been a great way to stay in touch and learn while safer at home.

Cindy Harvey: OSHER Classes have kept me sane during the pandemic!Always something to look forward to. Thank you!

Julie I: For me, one of the best parts of retiring was finally getting to start attending classes with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM, otherwise known to the members of our chapter as Osher. I've enjoyed getting together with others for lectures and classes about literature, history, science, and more. Even now, when our meetings are via Zoom, the learning and sharing continues. But I'll admit, I'm looking forward to the day that we can meet, travel, eat, and learn together in person again.

Geri Halaska: Osher has been a life saver for me. I've enjoyed the many classes that I signed up for and have met many interesting people and made more friends. Can't wait for things to return to "normal".

Kathy O: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is OUSTANDING! It offers classes on History, Literature, Art, and even current events. Zoom classes have been offered since the Pandemic arrived along with many other class options. Osher even offers tech classes to learn how to Zoom with a Tech Support Team to offer personalized assistance. You won't regret your decision to become a member!

Tim Peterson: I have learned so much from this place, nothing else like it in SE Wisconsin!!!

Luther Willems: Great facility and staff to help working adults improve their skills! I've enjoyed the classes I have taken here.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Milwaukee: what do users think?

Cassie Cosgrove: My fiancé and I took father/daughter and mother/son dance lessons here. We did two 40 minutes lessons back to back and time flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a ton of fun. Our instructors Natalie and Sodo were phenomenal. They went at our pace, taught us a few styles of dance, and then worked on applying some of that to the songs we had picked up. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for lessons for a wedding dance!

Kelly Schad: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy fiance and I began dance lessons for our wedding at Fred Astaire. We have found the lessons to be exciting, professional and a great activity for our date nights. The staff at FA are welcoming, friendly and energetic. We'll be continuing with the dances, social parties and hopefully, competitions.

Barbara Collignon: I've been a student at the Milwaukee studio for 10 years now and have enjoyed lessons, parties, balls and competitions. I can honestly say that the last 10 years have been among the most fun of my life-- thanks to the wonderful professional teachers at FADS!

Edward Burr: My last 2 years at Fred Astaire have been a dream! I started dancing kind of as a joke. I was traveling to Brazil for my friends wedding and thought I'd learn to Samba in a couple months to prepare. What I found was an energetic and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Positive, supportive, and understanding. And that's just the other students. The instructors are even better. You will not regret your time here. You will feel uncomfortable but you will get past it and on the other side is an unparalleled sense of confidence. And you'll look great doing it!

Timothy Wade: but also interact with the staff. The staff is fun to work with and they keep you focused on whatever dance or routine you are doing. I would recommend going to Fred Astaire because learning the dances and routines will keep you fit and get to interact with staff that enjoy what they do and wants you to have as much fun as they do.

Kate Lorenz: Dancing at Fred Astaire of Milwaukee is more than dancing. It's like a wonderful party every time I walk through the door. Wonderful teachers and staff. Amazing fellow students who have become dear friends. And invigorating learning that is good for brain and body, all while smiling from ear to ear throughout each lesson. I walk out tired but very, very happy!

Tracy Kaebisch: . We'll be taking a break for a while but will probably be back soon.Overall, highly recommend if you like to dance or want to learn!

Judith Fritz: If I could share the most important experience, although there are and have been many that have come from FADS Milwaukee, is that I couldn't have chosen more qualified and wonderful teachers/instructors and staff to help make come true my passion for dance. Everyone shares a passion and dedication for dance and they pass their gift and talent down to each and every student. You can't help but feel the Joy and enthusiasm when you walk in the studio. At FADS Milwaukee I have met so many wonderful people, all who have and are accomplishing so much having come to this studio.

Rachel Kass: We have been having an amazing time and learning so many things. We started at once a week and now love it so much we are in 4 times a week :D Shout out to our amazing coaches Brandon and Jade and the rest of the FADS crew who have made us feel right at home.

scott bicknell: Very professional and enjoyable place. All the staff know are a pleasure to be aroundNo matter how mood you are in when you arrive you always leave feeling happy

Mark Phillips: I feel free when I dance! There's nothing like dancing to a piece o music that you love. The staff is wonderful and the owner is awesome. As long as my Wife continues to smile, I'll be good with it! I Love our studio & instructors! This has been an amazing journey thus far.

Dana Phillips: Me and my husband came to learn one dance and 7 years later we are still dancing. Ballroom dancing is truly an art. Our instructors make learning the art of ballroom dancing fun and fulfilling. Dancing has given us so many wonderful memories. And the is staff is the best .

BillWFranksjr0909: It is always a pleasure to go to dance practice! Michelle is always so nice and always gets exactly what you need. The talent there is simply amazing! The instructions are not only very pleasant to talk with, but they are the best dancers in the US! It is my honest pleasure to be part of this "family"

Justin Cramer: . They are patient and will work as a team to ensure that concepts, patterns and choreography is understood. They have enabled me and my wife to compete nationally against other amateurs. They have trained others to compete on the professional level. But the most important thing is that they keep it fun so you keep coming back for the challenge.

C-viche: what do users think?

Davis Kim: C-viche was an absolutely extraordinary experience. I was there Saturday afternoon and the food was extraordinary. We got the classic ceviche and it was perhaps the best I ever had and then the seafood Chaufu had SO MUCH seafood in it, it was mostly seafood. And then we got the cheesecake dessert which was so good, it was sweet, but not too sweet, it was the perfect end to a meal and not too rich that it took down my evening. On top of the amazing food the staff was so nice and friendly. It felt very close-knit in a good way, and Marco, who we were talking to, is so incredibly friendly.Recommend 1000%

Jenna Wade: Lovely and authentic Peruvian/Latin good. Fantastic cocktails as well. Excellent service and atmosphere too.

Cynthia Kubichek: This place is amazing! Really authentic with their taste. Lomo Saltado is "buenazo" sooo good. Our waiter recommended a scallop appetizers and man was he dead on. Delish!!! Great Gluten free options that makes my celiac daughter happy with zero issue. We live a whole 50+min away and trust me we will be coming back. Amazing food, superb service and great atmosphere!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

La Caribeña: what do users think?

Said Hamideh: Since I've ever known, Milwaukee has always struggled to provide decent options for Puerto Rican cuisine. Most recently we dared to update our understanding of what's available. La Caribena starts out strong, as you'll walk into a vibey, clean space staffed with a multitude of pleasant and competent female servers working the bar and dining room area wearing starched, white polos. Would it be possible to say that a restaurant can be a little too too clean -- the scent of Fabuloso just a little too obvious?Let's jump to the food. But not so quick because the food takes a long time to get to your table. We placed our appetizer orders and the server promptly radioed them in to the kitchen which seemed promising, however it still took around 25 minutes for appetizers to come out. By the time the lunch entrees arrived I had already drank two Coke zeros. After eating all the delicious food my partner and I assessed everything we had eaten wondering what could have taken so long to prepare food like mofongo, fried chicken, arroz con gandules. Were they making each plate from scratch? By the way I didn't think the exquisitely seasoned chicken, fried in its own skin, out of all the things on their menu, would steal the show. But it really did. It's too bad that the service marred what was otherwise a four-star Caribbean lunch in the heart of Milwaukee's South side.I still plan on coming back for the evening vibes and maybe inviting a friend to the bar next time.Kid-friendliness: Big, long booths.

YONNI MARI-N: Do you want feel You left the Country and you stopped at a restaurant next to the Beach this Is the place and you can’t believe the Lunch Special $8.99 WhaaattttKid-friendliness: During lunchtime, very kid friendly

Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen: what do users think?

David Peters: Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen in West Allis is a culinary gem offering exceptional food, cocktails, and service. From savory empanadas to tender carne asada, each dish celebrates Latin flavors with finesse. The cocktails, expertly crafted, add a delightful touch to the experience. The staff's warm hospitality makes every visit memorable. For a taste of Latin America in West Allis, Antigua is the place to be.

heavin gallipeau: YUM, and the pupusas also YUM. We will definitely be back and we can’t wait! Muchas!

amber williams: FLAVOR TOWN!! We ordered the Cocas De Zetas Con Chorizo and ceviche as appetizer. The flatbread was a bit greasy but we didn’t mind, so cheesy and flavorful. Ceviche was marinated so well, amazing with the fresh tortilla chips. Our entrees was the Camarones Antigua and Cochinita Pibil. I have tried a lot of Cochinita, and this was by far the best. I just wish there was more tortillas with it. The camarone antigua was fantastic as well, the chipotle sauce really pieced the entire dish together wonderfully. The black gold margarita is a must. The place is clean and looks pretty inside, atmosphere gives off the vibe of being at a tias house, very homey.

Wisconsin Conservatory of Music: what do users think?

Scott Nehring: So far so good. Excellent instructor.

Jimi Sellars: I used to get Tortured in there regularly. lolI study there off and on for Guitar, song writing, music composition. Always good teachers! Great old historic building as well.

Brent Miller: Way to go Annie B.This is my “first ever” Google review and it is written for Annie B and the Milwaukee Music Academy.I’m in my late 50s and in search of a local guitar instructor; I played as a teenager before life got in the way. I returned recently and managed to knock off the cobwebs by myself and improved beyond my previous level. However, I eventually understood I needed an outside musical influence to grow beyond my own frame of reference. My initial search for a teacher, a web-based service, matched me with Annie B. After our first conversation, I concluded that she was a bit too far away to make that weekly trip; would have spent twice as much time commuting than in actual instruction. Due to the distance, she could not help me directly, but she used her social media presence to find someone local for me to investigate. Within 12 hours she relayed back, 4 people she trusted in my area.I’ve since linked up with one of those people and I will take my first lesson today. In a way, I kind of wish she were closer because she was very helpful and personable. I think we would have worked well together. Thanks again Annie and remember, this is my “first ever” google review, posted for you!

John Graham: Excellent instructor and beautiful building.

김미정: Really professional and kind, loving instructors they have. The lecture has made big differences. I definitely recommend WCM!

Laura Brusky: My daughter is taking drumming classes with Ms Shiner and he is a awesome teacher! She has special needs and she has limited understanding of music and cannot read or write but he can find a easy way for her to learn different rhythms and memorize them and also have fun!

Wujie Zhang: every time.

Liddie Collins: I am really having an enjoyable journey learning the violin. My instructor J. Steinbart keeps it interesting and fun. There is a lot to learn and my structor is breaking it down and making it learnable. !!!

Brian Peterson: Beautiful building and wonderful staff!

Matt Starr: to adults. There are classes for many different instruments. If you sign up for personal lessons, they run sessions each season which also includes some type of performance you will be able to perform at. During the time of COVID-19, they have shifted to the option to do remote lessons over Zoom. They have scholarships to provide opportunities to those who would not otherwise have the ability to pay.

Eli Kelling: Amazing people!

debra hardiman: Studied jazz theory and jazz piano with the great Tony King and Martha Artis. The music lives on!#foreverlearning

Stacey Steilen: Loren has been wonderful! She has really connected with my daughter and she looks forward to her lesson with her every week.

Peggy Kiefert Krouse: The thing I love the most about School of Rock Shorewood is that all the students support each other. They show up to watch every performance and cheer each other on. It's like a family!

Amy Schlarb: Everyone is super friendly and helpful. My son’s instructors take the time after his lessons to discuss with us what he’s doing well and what things he can work on until next time. My son, who generally shies away from social situations with people he doesn’t know and was very hesitant about the group rehearsals, has really loved his experience! Highly recommend!

Grace Jackson: My family LOVES School of Rock! Our son is 6 and we can already tell that he is developing a love for music and the ability to ROCK!! Thank you!!

Tyler Buck: Cool

Samantha Burgos: My daughter loves SOC. The other day on the way to her drum lesson, we were listening to some music in the car. She broke down the drum part verbally for me, hopped out of the car, and then played it for her drum teacher at the start of class. I was floored. It was so cool to watch her analyze the music in real time and then put it into practice.

Benjamin Biddle: I love how professional and nice the staff are.

Saikat Mukhopadhyay: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value

Velia Tarnoff: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Casey Yost: Highly recommended! Caters to every ability level and makes these kids really feel like Rock Stars!

Erin Alexa Sotelo: I have had an amazing experience at UWM so far. Everyone is so kind. Instructors and advisors are very supportive and caring. I have enjoyed all of my classes so far and am grateful to be receiving my education at this university. There are so many opportunities to seek out, and many places to find a sense of belonging. I like this school a lot and hope to continue having a good experience throughout the rest of my time here.

Or Ka King: Good!

Milwaukee Area Technical College Downtown Milwaukee Campus: what do users think?

Felicia Wilkins: Very helpful in finding resources

Marvin Pineda: This college expects the best out of you when nNo other reality can accept the worst of you. And I mean this when you find yourself the core curriculums you find yourself to work, you will find the workplace safety becomes pinned between a ladder of a few to honors received by none lest it becomes a receptionist to a catering service. – If you’re looking to be a plumber, here’s where to start, because if I was arguing carpentry over metallurgy in such a calm weathered hallway, you’d be screaming acts of God till the trickle point landed on your face with your belly bestowing all the previous laughter you thought you could manage by yourself. You see, I’d be sitting with the Dean, the Staff of Administration, and an S1185 form wondering whether or not to let a blind man walk out with his cane before I found out who ruined my Mother’s marriage and career progression to her children without blood on my knuckles following WI ST. 118.35, and an Honorable Admission of Servitude seeing as my own efforts will linger the halls into a transferable credit of Guiness World Record Readership to a statement that will leave you to question what the Commissioner is going to say about it. – After all, when school is close by, I’m just looking to form my retirement.Want to challenge that signature? Or leave it in chalk? Lifeless? There’s a little more to me than you knew, and a whole much more I circled around when deciding a chance would be glory.-

Abster Asgard: the field you want to be in. This is one of the best places to go.They have an active news station here that lends out thier studio to MATC and if you take that degree you end will work with people who are actively in the feild. They get you hands on with equipment within the 1st 2 weeks consistently and are very accommodating for accessibility. Half these reviews are reviewing the school as a whole... and you should not go here for a school name you should go here for hands on experience. I will say the school body is unhelpful and if you really want help go through you teachers and program heads.

T3LLA: Great school if you’re ready to buckle down and focus! Universities can have a lot going on and be really distracting, but this school has a balance. There’s definitely fun activities every now and then but when it comes to the academics, they will not leave you hanging either. The classroom sizes are reasonable, giving you the chance to have all of your questions heard and answered.

Alexander Salas: My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. They also work with businesses to help their student get jobs after graduating. I would recommend this program to someone looking to get into IT Support as a career.

Britanni Hildenbrand: I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Future students should also know that credits will transfer to a four year college such as MSOE or UWM.

Kipi Guentner: I've worked here for decades after being a student here myself.
