Ivan Corona: The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Marky: I’m here visiting for the weekend and I decided to check out this black own spot 10mins away from my hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted with respect. My waitress JW was so pleasant and helpful with helping us navigate through the menu and drinks. The entire place was a vibe everybody there was super friendly, we had an amazing time singing karaoke. I will for sure be back if I’m ever back in town!!

Stephanie: This place was amazing, such a cozy vibe, great musical talent, and meeting Caroline herself!
Lona Hoade: there was still room in their free parking lot. We were warmly greeted at the door & they were already expecting us. There is a cover charge, but again, free parking & music, so not unexpected. Caroline personally came up & greeted us. We were tended to the entire time by her great bar staff. Drinks were very good & reasonable. The Donna Woodall group was playing & they were some of the best jazz we’ve heard in a long time! A must see & hear! We are not anybody special but were treated that way. Caroline’s deserves more than 5 stars. We will be back!

Thomas Parbs: High Note is an amazing place if you love Karaoke- to sing, to watch others sing, or both. The atmosphere is awesome! The staff there are super great- shoutout to Brenna, Mohogany, Ernesto and the whole team!! Some of the locals that sing there are truly talented, like Dawn, Raven, and King Richard. Truly, the High Note is such a vibe and I would sincerely recommend anyone looking for a great time visit there. A new favorite place for when I’m in Milwaukee. Would give it a 20 out of 10 rating!!

Zeb Boos: I wish I could say the experience and the aesthetics were worth but at 15$ a drink with slow service and a very “boujee” attitude about the place, I would rather go to another bar. Additionally, seating yourself can be a hassle during busier times. HOWEVER, the drinks themselves were sensational! The drinks alone get 5 stars. If you want to go get a really good cocktail with your partner as a start to the night, then the money is totally worth it.

Dillan Koch: This is a great place to go for a first date between 6-10pm. It's not busy, the music wasn't too loud, and it has a very nice upscale comforting atmosphere. The staff was great, drinks were amazing with an average cocktail price of $12, and plenty of deals on beers, wines, margaritas, etc. They'll turn the music up at 9pm when it starts to get busier, and 10pm is when the main music event starts and it turns into a typical loud fun dance club. Both my date and I were very impressed. I highly recommend The Sofie!

He is literally an encyclopedia of cocktails….what goes together, what flavors work well, what specific alcohols should be shaken at room temp versus on ice. My husband and I appreciate all of the above and more. His brief lessons based on my questions were like being in a drink making class.
