Primal MKE - MMA Gym & Fitness: what do users think?

Ali Z: are SUPER welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive and everyone here embraces that culture!! Plus we got a huge woman wrecking crew that are some BEASTS. Do it, try a class!!

Megan Foshey: I've been at Primal for almost 2 years now, and I have found a home away from home. I have been in the mma community for some time, and I have never experienced the level of respect and opportunity to grow as I have here. From both the coaches the teammates the encouragement to try something new is unmatched. The classes are fast paced, but everyone here is ready and willing to help whether it be someone brand new or someone experienced who is looking to switch up their game. I would recommend Primal to anyone at any level to come experience what they have to offer. You won't regret it.

Alexander Nickel: Clean, professional and efficient martial arts gym. Weather you are a beginner or experienced, this place is great for anyone.

James Houchin: This is an awesome gym. I would not hesitate to recommend it for drop-ins or as a home gym to train bjj. World class instruction with an open attitude and encouraging environment. I will definitely come back.

Draven: This is the best gym in the state. The environment is inviting, people are nice, and the coaches are knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I’d be recommend this gym to everyone no matter their experience level.

alba cruz: My son started participating in the kids class 2 years ago. From the beginning he left welcomed. The best part of the day for my son is to come train with the other kids. Amazing place. The coaches are kind an patient with the kids an take time to teach them the techniques.

Nicholas Davis: Everyone there is like a big family. As someone who's never been in a similar environment. It can be a little overwhelming at first, not really knowing what to do or what not to do but if you ever have a question just ask. The people are really nice. They're always down to spar as hard or as soft as you want. Overall I think it's great and definitely worth it

Sergio Pettis: Great training and coaching highly recommend to those looking to get in a good work and knowledge for MMA.

gabriela perez: My son goes to Primal MKE and always has good things to say about it. Pankrations and events are ran efficiently and organized. 10/10 recommended to anyone looking to join a MMA and or grappling team.

Andy Grahn: I have trained many places around the world, the coaching and training here is outstanding. I am a BJJ and Judo black belt. Pettis TaeKwonDo Mixed Martial Arts MMA Kickboxing Jiu Jitsu Fitness Self Defense Gym Lessons Stress Relief Adults Kids Ages 3+: what do users think?

Miguel B: After attending Pettis Martial arts for a number of years as a spectator. And watching the positive impact it had on my son’s life. I choose to join and do both adult taekwondo and showtime fit lessons. The instructors are great at pushing you past your normal limitations so that growth can take place. But without over doing it. So you are really able to learn at your own speed. And comfort level. The people that take the classes come from all different levels of physical fitness. From those that are just trying to lose a few pounds to those that wannabe professional fighters. This place has something for everybody. And no matter where you are in your physical fitness journey. I guarantee you will find people there that resonate with you. And will help you achieve your goals.

Maria None: Our son Leon has come along way from when he first started at Pettis Martial Arts almost 4 years ago.His dad and I signed him up. With the intent of helping him to gain self confidence. And learn some basic things to do in a self defense scenario. We had no idea how much this place would become a part of his life and childhood. The staff are absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they extremely adept at martial arts but they are excellent at teaching it. And at the same time making it fun for the kids. The facility is always clean. And the environment is friendly. I could not recommend this place enough. Pettis Martial Arts is the cream of the crop in the Martial Arts world.

Steven Rivera: This gym has been awesome for my kids.not only do they teach your kids how to defend them self, They are teaching my kids about respect and how important it is to respect at the gym but at home with their parents and at school with their teachers too. They did a event for Valentines where we can drop the kids off to have some adult time and a event for Easter for the kids! All the instructors are great with the kids can't wait to watch my kids grow in thier martial arts journey!

S K: Great environment for my kids, it’s clean, the instructors are fantastic and my 6 year old is already saying yes ma’am and sir at home! We love it.

Zac Sinden: I'd give it five stars, but parents aren't allowed to watch their children practice unless we're are 50ft away. Also slightly over priced in my opinion.I do love this place and the people that work there and the students for sure. Great atmosphere to be in.

Robin H: I just enrolled my son into mma and even tho he went a few days he loves it and everyone is polite and patient with the student.Glad I choose you guys 😊

Robert Burger: Great staff nice people!

Mike Esser: Awesome program for kids. We started our 2 year old girl and 3 year boy last year. Intructors are incredible with kids. Far exceeded my expectations, highly recommended.

It's refreshing to see people so dedicated to advancing their profession. The classes are intense and you will see results, both in physical transformation and your martial arts skills. I was in athletic shape coming in, but these classes take it to the next level. Time flies by, you'll get a great work out in, learn to defend yourself, meet some great people, train with the best, and ultimately you'll adopt a healthier lifestyle.Stop in and see for yourself!Thank you Pettis Martial Arts.

World Martial Arts Academy: what do users think?

Mick Jones: I cannot recommend this place enough. The Grandmaster and other instructors are patient, safe, knowledgeable, and listen well. They bring the kids along at a good, safe speed. No instant black belts, no screaming at the kids. They have a list for home that also is part of the belt leveling process. Thank you

steven thompson: Great place to have your kid there to take classes

John Earle: Positive:Quality,Value

Kill Joy: I went here when i was younger, and i had a blast. Although the fact that its somewhat caused. My younger brother took the self defense into a new way of attacking family and friends. Now a days im a lightsaber dullest instructor, teaching the ways of the force through a lightsaber. In other words this place is great for teens and young adults who get bullied alot but not for young kids. May the force be with you.

Joe Meinerz: Great family values instilled by the phenomenal staff.

YeonJung Darling: Attend WMAA tournament recent. Staffs ran event smoothly and professionally. Demo team performance was awesome!

Fredric Dennis Williams: , while most schools have less experienced and less qualified instructors. The grandmaster personally oversees the instructors as they teach, and students usually are in groups of two to four per instructor. This assures close attention to every aspect of the training, and because instructors are observed by both the grandmaster and the head instructor, and because instructors are trained each day, the quality of the teaching is high.We left a previous larger taekwondo center because a teacher often had 15-20 students, and I found my sons were being offered a chance to test for higher belts when they were clearly not doing well. This, in my view, was to assure that they completed the training contract as quickly as possible. If they did not complete, the training was to continue for free after the contract ended. I noticed that some of the students with black belts were barely able to complete simply actions. That. to me, was unacceptable. The Grandmaster has been teaching for more than 25 years and began his training in South Korea. He is really outstanding and I feel fortunate to have found an academy that offers high quality training.

Dan Sheldon: Our family has been a part of the WMAA community for the last 4 years. What started out as a one day a week after school activity for my children has turned into lifelong goals for our family. The staff is welcoming, patient and are great role models for my children. Absolutely recommend WMAA to anyone interested in martial arts.

Praveen Robert: Our son has been going to WMAA for a couple of years and we like WMAA very much, the instructors and the discipline that’s being followed as well as the attention they give to the kids are so great. Highly recommend this institution.

Jweiss 500: The perfect place for anyone of all ages to learn tae Kwon do. Also, the staff is very friendly.

Marly: After investigating several other Taekwondo schools, we decided that WMAA was the best fit for my 3 boys. They have the best instructors, a great instructor to student ratio, comparable rates & staff that truly cares about my family!

Ashley Shusta: My kids have been going here four four years. They truly enjoy going to class. As a parent I love the interaction and how they really care about the students. And to say that the Grandmaster is one of a kind! He is always willing there for his students no matter what. I personally would recommend it to everyone!!!

Scott Kuehn: I have been involved with a few martial arts schools over the years but now that I am working out at WMAA I feel like I have found a home. The instructors are incredibly skilled and very good at teaching TKD. Grandmaster Yun's knowledge of tae kwon do is second to none. He makes everyone of every ability better and truly cares about his students. If you are looking for a martial arts school this is the one.

mzerwinski: WMAA is an excellent place to learn and develop both martial art skills as well as physical fitness. I have been learning from Grand Master Yun for over 20 years at this point and hope to continue to do so for many more. His methods of instruction as well as those of the instructors that he trains are outstanding. If you're looking to learn and grow as a martial artist WMAA is an excellent place to be.

Ashley Johnson: My son has been taking classes for about a year and he loves it! Great instructors, close location, fun activity nights, perfect for the whole family, and valuable life lessons. He looks forward to class each week. I recommend for students of all ages!

Rene Guzman: The instructors are super respectful and knowledgeable. Great place for kids and their parents. Highly recommended.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Milwaukee: what do users think?

Mark S (Mark): Great place to learn Jiu-jitsu in a fun, team-oriented environment. Sky and the other instructors are great.

Jason Molitor: I can not be happier with my decision to train at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Milwaukee under Skye, Dianne, and Kevin. My daughter and I agree that it has been a great experience. For all you 40 year olds out there know that it isn't too late! The Gracie Combatives is the only way to learn this most efficacious self defense without all the worries and fears that may accompany any new student. The greatest obstacle I had was that I was so out of shape that I couldn't dream of learning how every other school would teach this martial art. The Gracie Combatives program is perfect for out of shape desk workers like me!Many also have injuries over the years that keep them from taking on anything else physically. The way the program is set up it is all about keeping you safe and injury free. This is so different from all other ways of learning Jiu-Jitsu that I wish I knew about this far sooner!I could go on and on. The Gracie Combatives program at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Milwaukee is exactly what I want for my self defense. The BullyProof program for my daughters is amazing as well. Check it out!!!!!!

Kevin Roquemore: Greatest place to train Jiu-Jitsu in Milwaukee. This academy offers both a beginner friendly experience and classes for seasoned grapplers. The Instructors care about their students and they demonstrate and explain each technique in great detail. If you ever wanted to try Jiu-Jitsu look no further than Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Milwaukee.

Tracy Zundel: Excellent environment and supportive staff. Safe training. Valuable for kids and adults alike.

Jessie Habel: As someone who is plagued with an obnoxious amount of anxiety and fear making the leap to start the Women’s Empowered course was a hard one. I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t know if this was something I could even do. But, I am incredibly thankful I gave it a shot because it has already become one of the best decisions I have ever made. Every single person I have met there has been beyond welcoming and I instantly felt like part of the family. While I have only done a handful of classes so far and I already feel more confident and safer out in the world. Now for the instructors: Have you ever had the thought that someone was just meant to be in their profession? They’re just so passionate and good at it that you couldn’t imagine them doing anything else? That’s Skye and Diane. They have this amazing ability to take a topic that could be triggering for some and make it into the safest place you’ve ever been. Class is fun, informative and I walk away each time feeling more confident in myself. If you are reading this review trying to decide if you should try this out- just do it!10/10 recommend

Dylan Bialas: Fantastic instructors and a very welcoming environment. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Matt Lowe: I love being a member here. They are so welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. I apprciate being apart of the family and look forward to growing further in my BJJ skills and as a person.

Steve: Skye and Dianne make you feel welcome. There’s no shortage of passion coming from the leadership here. I leave every class knowing I was taught by someone who truly cares. On the mat, everyone is kind and willing to help regardless of their skill level. If you’re considering giving this a shot, let this review be the weight that tips the scale.

Dan Hall: Absolutely amazing place! Owner is honest outgoing and very personable. Beginners to advanced are encouraged and welcomed. They have been so open and accommodating for my kids in their bully proof classes. I can't say enough positive things. Strongly recommend them

Andrew Gile: you’re going to love it here

Akash Thakkar: I dropped in for a private lesson while traveling and had an amazing time. Skye is an incredible instructor, and I wish I had more time to train here!

Levi Van Stappen: Skye is as passionate as they come about self defense and empowering people with Jiu-Jitsu. If you are serious about your Jiu-Jitsu development, Gracie Milwaukee is your first and only stop. Thank me later 😁

Chris Roberts: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueAmazing teaching. Cannot recommend enough. The best training experience I have had in Milwaukee! Really great people too.

Lisa Powell: Focus is on technique. Skye has built a great community at the academy!

Travis: Despite coming to this academy with no prior grappling or wrestling experience, Jiu Jitsu/Self-Defense has been so much fun to learn and I recommend it to everyone of all ages. Skye, Kevin, Joe, and all the other instructors have been so welcoming to me, and it's been a pleasure to learn alongside them and the other amazing students at the academy. I would rate this 6 stars if I could! Join this academy today - you'll wish you signed up sooner!

Tara Clark: Love this place and the people! I highly recommend their Women's Self Defense program. ALL women can benefit from this training...regardless of your age, size or fitness level.

Cole Powell: I've gone to this academy for 6 years now and I always have a good time. The people are great. The instructors are unparalleled. And there's just this sense of community you can't get anywhere else

Black Belt Leadership Academy: what do users think?

Rachel Waughlen: Truly the best! I wasn’t sure my daughter would be that into karate but it’s so much more than that. They teach control and discipline in such a fun and creative way. The black belts have such enthusiasm about what they do and their interaction with each child. I have no negatives about this place.

Jennifer Apps: Anyone looking for that "thing" for your child, that activity that helps them feel confident, strong, build coordination and athleticism - this is IT! The instructors as all incredible, the curriculum is wholistic, and the experiences build character and leadership!

Linsi Jean: This dojo is special. In addition to learning martial arts, the students learn how to become good leaders and good people.

Sifu Alison: Owned and managed by some of the greatest people. They are truly dedicated to enriching people’s martial arts journey and their lives.

Pittman Family: We love Black Belt Leadership Academy for our little ninja! The team fosters an excellent learning environment with focus on respect and discipline. Truly developing future leaders through their techniques! Highly recommend for anyone looking at starting or continuing their karate journey!

Michael Hemmingsen: This place has a very positive environment with super friendly instructors... yet they still manage to quickly deal with any kids who start to disrupt the classes. My son left because of other activities, but we will surely come back here if he wants to continue karate in the future.

B V3: I’m glad we chose BBLA for our son. Sensei is great. It amazes me that he can remember ALL of the student names. All the staff is nice and it’s a family friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy that you can go to as many classes that are available for your group. Keep Up the Great Work!!

Monica Camacho: Great Sensei and very knowledgeable staff. My son loves his classes and is so proud of each belt he earns. They also teach responsibility and respect. An all around good choice for anyone thinking of having their kids take karate lessons.

Paul Crawford: Amazing teachers and promotion of self-worth, self-discipline, and confidence.

A&B W: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Rubie Mizell: My Kids love it

Normand Kaegler: And obstacle course days. We go at least 2 times a week and he can’t wait to go to everyone of them. Thank y’all for all u do.

Stephen Fennelly: This is truely a 5 star establishment. Do not be misled a couple of uneducated and reckless reviews. My son and I have both been members here for 3 1/2 years and this has been a wonderful experience for both of us. While they focus mostly on karate, we have also had the opportunity to learn weapon skills, grappling and a smattering of other disciplines which is perfect for becomming a well-rounded martial artist in today's MMA focused world. Whether you are here to learn some effective self-defense skills along with a great work-out, or to become a competition caliber martial artist, I highly recommend Black Belt Leadership Academy.

360 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy: what do users think?

Kelly Kohls: I would highly recommend this gym/family to anyone who is looking to start or continue on their BJJ journey.

Matt Florentine: I have always been someone who likes to know why we do the things we do. The coaches at both locations are awesome with explaining the details and the why behind it all.Very friendly welcoming community of people. Everyone really comes together to help each other grow and be better each day.

Mario Morse: My son has trained here for over 2 years…I have noticed improvement in his spatial skills among other good attributes, mainly from the camaraderie and strong instruction. My son has gained not only teammates, but friends off the mat. I was looking for way to be closer to my son and not to coddle him, this was the Best thing I could have ever done for him to develop humility and focus. Truly recommend for any young child who needs strong peers. All the instructors have a keen sense to teach. Truly has changed our lives.

Matt Hagemann: I have been training BJJ for 10 years now, and have called 360 my home gym for almost two years. The culture here is exactly what I had been looking for. Ego is low, skill is high, and it's evident that most genuinely care about your growth and health.Professor Scott is top-notch. He is very detailed, and teaches from his extensive competitive and training experience.I am proud to call 360 my home gym. It is a gem. I would wholeheartedly recommend checking it out.

Elizabeth Boyd: I joined 360 Jiu Jitsu looking for a competitive grappling sport, not knowing anything about jiu jitsu at the time. Over the last year and half, I learned so much and have developed my own skillset from world class instructors and teammates. They have fully welcomed me into this amazing jiu jitsu community. I’ve never been around so many supportive people in one place. We have become a family, we train hard, push each other to greatness, laugh together and even cry together. I love competing with this team. Everyone’s loyalty and dedication are truly unique. How many other schools have a head coach who is a world class champion black belt who takes the time with all levels, even the very beginners and kids. Scott’s patience, passion and love for the sport radiates through his instruction, attention to detail and relationships with all the 360 members and families. There is no other school that could ever compare to what we have at 360!

Braden Grimord: A year ago, I became a part of 360. On my first day, I stepped in feeling nervous, unsure of what lay ahead. However, to my delight, I was greeted with warmth and openness by everyone. Scott, our coach, has been exceptional. Reflecting on my journey thus far, I can confidently say that joining the 360 team was one of the best decisions I've made.

Brian Geraghty: Top notch instruction, great workout, good people and very clean!

Carolyn Steeves Powers: as “the place” to train in Wisconsin. He wasn’t wrong. The quality of instruction is easily one of the best in the state. It also has an awesome culture— the focus is on technical, intelligent, clean jiujitsu-- I am always challenged to improve, but I have never felt unsafe. “Meat head” jiujitsu

Latrice Knighton: Coach Scott has created an unique training facility. All of the instructors are dedicated and care. Our 6 year old twins were able to learn in a small environment where Coach Justin and Coach Kam focused on technique and life skills like listening and follow through. We recently moved out of state and miss this crew seeing other gyms are no where near this dedicated and talented with focus on small group to learn technique.

Aniruddh Kapoor: 10/10. Love this gym.

Alex Vale: Dropped in from out of town and had a great experience in terms of how lessons are organized and how people at the gym roll. The lesson stays on a topic and build upon the same topic. The instructor welcomes questions and answers them well showing how things work visually too. People aren't trying to take your head off during the rolls and provide opportunities to try/understand techniques rather than focusing on winning a roll.

Dennis Wong: and the location is great with plenty of parking. The training here is superb as well. Coach Huston does a great job teaching the adult class and even though I’ve only been up there a few times, I remember everything he teaches which show how effective it is.The people here are also friendly. They never hesitate to help out someone new and if you are looking for tough competition, this is the place to be in Milwaukee. Overall, I wish I could make it up here more but I live too far.

Erin Cannon: We have been part of this gym for almost four years. We have crossed so many hurdles as a family and this gym and coaches have never faltered once. The coaches and the teammates understand loyalty and commitment, from youth to adult our family has learned and gained so much being part of such an incredible club. This place has given us so much more than we ever expected.

Jeremy Anderson: My 16 year old Daughter and I joined the 360 team back in January and by May I medaled in my first tournament with only 1 stripe. I credit that purely to Scott's training. We've both had an amazing experience. The gym is very diverse and welcoming. Scott has an unmatched amount of patience, but really knows when to turn up the heat and drive us to the next level. The 360 team members couldn't be more welcoming. It's made up of athletes at all levels and there is always someone willing to roll and match your pace to help you grow. There is no other gym I would recommend more!

Ceridwen Pruitt: I’ve been a student at four different jiu-jitsu academies in my four years of training and 360 was the first one I felt valued and respected. I came to 360 after hearing from others that they were the ones doing well in competitions and wish I would have started here from the get go. You always have high level training partners, everyone is kind, and the instruction is so good you’ll feel like every day is a seminar.

Ben Hall: Whether you’re an adult or looking for your kids the coaches at 360 care and give a very welcoming experience. My daughter joined in September 2021 and was immediately hooked. I recommend this place to everyone and will go to bat for Scott Huston 360.

Melissa Bovee: My husband and son have had a great experience training at 360. Scott runs a high quality academy with passionate, engaged coaches. We highly recommend to anyone looking to start or continue BJJ.

Kellsie Fink: Our 8 year-old started Jiu jitsu at 360 a little over a year ago, and we're impressed with his progress in such a short amount of time. He has gained a lot of confidence, and I love how the kids will stop to help their partners with their form while practicing moves with each other--it provides them opportunities to be leaders. Scott and all of the coaches have been amazing and we're so happy we found this gym.

Bill Kawczynski: My 5 y.o. son has been attending 360 for six months. He has had nothing but good experiences. The coaches, facility, and the other students are all great. Highly recommend!

Martial Arts America: what do users think?

Kristiana Konini: Great place. My daughter enjoys class a lot. Definitely recommend.

David Michael Colorez: I’ll be 73 years old this January 2024, but because of MAA, I’m in the best shape ever.

Gina Povolo: MAA virtual kickboxing is a great workout with great instruction. It works out every single muscle so our bodies continue to burn fat for hours after class so we can STAY ON TOP OF IT during this COVID-19 crisis and not lose everything we have worked so hard to obtain! Thank you MAA!

Jennifer Skibinski: I recently attended online kickboxing class via Zoom and it was great! Got a good workout in! My kids can't wait to join me in the next one! Great way to keep them active while we all stay at home! So happy you made this option available until we can all get back to class!

Donald Hoeft: I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. In addition to being a martial artist I also compete in running races and triathlons. When Hanshi mentioned doing classes online I knew I would get good technique lessons but thought that fitness-wise it would be very easy. I was wrong! The classes have been physically demanding from both a cardiovascular and strength perspective. I've taken three days of classes this week and am actually pretty sore from them. This is proving to be a great way to stay fit.

Suzanne Grzanna: I love attending their kickboxing classes. Amazing instructors and great staff. Hanshi is the best!!

Dan D: Love coming to this place. The instructors are great and they have a passion for what they do. I've been doing the kickboxing program for about 2 years now and have seen my flexibility and strength increase significantly. The kickboxing room is awesome and has plenty of room to achieve a great workout.

Alexis Catalano: Fantastic place, great workout, nice staff. My mother and I have been taking kickboxing classes here for a few years and I highly recommend it. It's a blast!

Nikki Heat: I have a lot of memories with this place since 2007 to 2010 when i was a kid now that im a mother i want to share that experience with my son plus i know if i show up there again they will tell me how much i'v grown up. And im thanking of signing my self up again i just my need more practice again😄😄😄😄

Jodie Lane: , but I love how they motivate me and hold me accountable. When you leave a kickboxing class, the instructor asks you when you will be back. Of course, stuff happens, you text them to let them know you can’t make it, but you always want to make it…you made that commitment. It keeps you going.Kickboxing class lasts an hour. You sweat, stretch and pound the hell out of the bag. With the new IMPACT system in place, your workout intensity is measured. You get to track your own personal progress. Sometimes I am amazed at what I’ve done, and sometimes I know that I’m not at my best.I would highly recommend giving MAA Kickboxing a try. Best decision I’ve made.

Nehaya Abuain: I can't give enough stars. Everyone at Martial arts is outstanding, friendly, helpful, positive, and encouraging. My kids and I love the classes and instruction, and that's a testament to the hard work and dedication of the instructors and staff who love what they do and care. It's rare to find a place that encourages excellence in a non-competitive environment .Everyone cheers on everyone else, celebrates each other's achievements, and helps each other out. It's all positive, focused on self-discipline, focus, and of course learning martial arts. We love Marital arts!!!

Fawn Schwandt: LOVE this place. I can't seem to stay away!!! Such a welcoming and knowledgeable group of instructors. There's no judging and they're always happy to help. You can go at your own pace and will definitely see results. I would highly recommend this place to not only adults who want to get into great shape fast, but also to parents who want to boost their children's confidence. This place ROCKS!

Gina M: Best DOJO around. Master Serrano does a great job with his kick boxing classes. My husband and I not only got into great shape but also learned great techniques when it came to self defense, We have tried other programs and this one by far is the best...!!!!

Samer Sultan: Martial Arts America is a great dojo for students of all ages and abilities. My daughter started there in the Spring of 2015, she has had a great time learning Karate. The teachers at MAA are really supportive and understanding of kids, and they do their best to help the kids get the most out of the program.I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Elham Kiblawi: is the best place to be in so far, you get the attention that any student is looking for, it is not just a place to visit and leave, it becomes a part of your life style faster than you think, the Kickboxing program that they have is amazing, can't thank the instructors enough for their daily motivation and encouragement, it has been a great experience that I gained since i started with the program that is physically and mentally challenging and it is a great release from the daily pressures.I do take Karate classes there too, and it is great because it helped me improve my flexibility, concentration, focus it is more than Karate; leadership, respect, discipline, confident, self defense and other skills with the attention you get from the instructors specially Hanshi Roberto Serrano

Kari Opichka: I have taught aerobics for years, ran 1/2 marathons, and competed in triathlons and haven't found a better workout until now. The martial arts classes really challenge my body and soul.

coco Lia: My son love this place I can recommend it to any parent it will change your son for good

Bill Barlas: and Tae Kwon Do for our kids. The staff are excellent, and we are so lucky! Approaching 2 years in and AMA feels more and more like a family every day.

Evan Lewis: I’ve been a student at Ascension Martial Arts for 11 years, helping in classes for 8 years, and been an instructor for around 1 and a half years, and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be the same person I am today without this school. They have taught be how to be respectful, they have taught me how to be resilient, and most importantly they have given me the confidence to be unapologetically myself. I am constantly learning new things about martial arts, how to be a leader, and about myself. Ma’am Kellie and Master Youn are two of the most hardworking, kind people I have ever met. They have taught me everything I know and helped me through my struggles, both in martial arts and in life. I cannot express in words just how much this school means to me and how much it has affected my life. I am proud to be a student and instructor here, and I am content to call AMA my second home.

Michael Dombeck: This is a fabulous facility. My son absolutely loves coming twice a week. The instructors are so great at explaining and showing what to do.

Jason Cy: My 12 year old daughter and myself both joined and couldn’t be happier. Great school, great teachers, very well kept and cleaned. My daughters confidence has skyrocketed in the 1st month of classes. Highly suggested.

Fluid Jiu Jitsu: what do users think?

Joshua Bhatti: When I walked into Fluid Jitsu, I felt something special right away. It was a warm and friendly place, totally different from my old gym where I often felt ignored. At Fluid Jitsu, they welcomed me warmly and saw my potential right away. The best thing about Fluid Jitsu is how good the instructors are. They really know their stuff and they care about helping each of us get better. They're not just teaching moves—they're helping us grow. Overall, Fluid Jitsu isn't just a gym; it's like a family. They make you feel valued and supported, and that's made all the difference for me after my disappointing experience at my old gym.

James Nicholson: I’ve experienced growth in other areas of my life since I started training…Professor Brenton has created a family…

Parviz Hojati: What can I say about Fluid jiujitsu… as a former student I can say that Professor Benton and the staff over at Fluid have been nothing but awesome towards me . Class structure is solid and the jiujitsu is dope . I highly recommend going here for your jiujitsu education and experience. I still have nightmares of Coach Nick and him catching me in his spider guard lol 🤣🤣 . A 414 Legit salute 🤙🏼to the folks over at Fluid Bjj . I wish all of you nothing but success in your martial arts journeys

Mike Kaminski: We joined Fluid Jiu Jitsu to help our 6 year old focus and with understanding his surroundings better. Since joining the notes from his teacher have been verry positive about his new found attention to his surroundings and paying attention in class.Myself and our 9 year old joined at the same time as well. Our 9 year old has always been a bit on the quite side and more reserved, since joining she seems to have gained a self confidence we did not know she had. She has even told her coach that she wants to compete in tournaments. My main goal in joining was to help get in shape. I can already feel a difference in my overall movement. The class and instructors have been extremely welcoming and helpful in my instruction.I highly recommend to anybody looking!!!

John Anderson: I’ve been to several gyms all over the Midwest and this one is definitely one of the friendliest gyms I’ve been to. Very clean facility and excellent people. Thank you!

Ray Habenicht: I had the opportunity and great pleasure to attend a Pedro Sauer seminar here recently. While it is a little far away from me, if I lived closer I would not hesitate to both attend and join up!Brenton is a great owner and instructor with amazing technique and skills. Overall just an awesome gym. There are really good people there and the training atmosphere is second-to-none.Definitely check it out - *especially* if you are from the area. You WILL improve your jiu-jitsu immensely!

Margaret Boyd: As I am coming up on a year attending classes and functions at Fluid Jiu-Jitsu, I just wanted to write a quick review of this gym/dojo/family meeting place. Not sure what to call it as it fits many names. I first have found everyone to be very accepting and encouraging no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Whether you are 70 or 5 I have found everyone to be very helpful and willing to instruct and share their knowledge. Our fearless leader Professor Brenton Fitzgerald has ensured that everyone is in an environment where they can ask for help and receive it. Whether you are looking for inclusion in an activity, a good work out, advancing your skills, promotion/advancement in belts, and up to competing on a more serious level. There is a great variety of classes from beginner, intermediate, advanced, flow rolling, Gracie self-defense curriculum, competition drilling and women’s only classes. It truly is a great place that I enjoy and wish I could be at more often than I am. I try to attend 6 a.m. classes as much as I can but there’s a great variety of classes and times that can really fit any schedule.

Abdullah Rauf: Absolutely amazing place to learn. Everybody is so nice and always there to help. Professor Brenton and Professor Jason are both great teachers as well!

Danielle Nicole: This is the second bjj school I have trained at, and my absolute favorite. The people are welcoming, there are multiple classes to choose from for your schedule, a variety of qualified instructors willing to help, and a level of professionalism without the "corporate" feel. I think beginners, advanced students, and in-between can all gain a positive experience from training at Fluid!

C S: The family atmosphere you get when stepping in is unmatched, starting at the top from Prof. Fitzgerald, every single person shows great interest in helping you grow, not only in BJJ but I life, the support is real! Couldn't recommend it enough!

Ashley G: I just think its a great place with great people. Very happy my kiddos and I found them!

Devan Biersack: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Valuesolid spot. safe rolls, tough competitors and quality teaching

K coop: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis has been our favorite place for years. The owner is amazing, kind, helpful, and really knows what he is doing. Great place for kids and adults to learn the wonderful art of jujitsu.

Santino Tino: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat environment, great people, top notch jiu jitsu.
