Brian George: Pretty solid sushi place that was close to our hotel, there's a parking garage basically right next door. Went on a week day so hard to gauge how popular this place is, the 'O My God' roll was fun they light it on fire at the table. I had the ginger old fashioned, it was a pretty mid old fashioned. The bathrooms need some help with cleaning. Service was fast and friendly. Bottom line, worth it as a dinner option but wouldn't be my top pick.- Cheers

I really loved the Hawaiians volcano as they light it at the table, and it brings a beautiful flavor to the roll. I had salmon belly nigiri, and it was exceptional. The Boss roll was so flavorful. We also had the Sweet and Spicy Gyoza which was truly delicious. I can't wait to go back.
GinaG1234: This was one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had! We went on a Saturday evening, and it was phenomenal. We got seated immediately, and was greeted kindly by our server, Emily. We had fried pork gyoza and the stuffed avocados which were amazing. We also had the crunch munch, rock n’ roll, a California roll, shrimp tempura maki roll, MKE roll and the flaming Oh My God roll. We also dipped on sweet pear drink. Our server was so incredibly attentive and kind. She would see about anything we need. Ultimately, this is a place that every person who loves sushi should go! This is an outstanding place for sushi.

Joe Mayer: Sushi and service was great. Menu has a wide variety. Only negative was that we had to wait 1/2 hr and there really isn’t a good place to stand inside on a cold night. Warm nights it would be no problem to just stand outside. Dining room is very informal and has been crowded/loud all three times we’ve been here. We don’t live near here but will definitely come back.
Ray Juaire: A true hidden gem in Bay View, about 8 minutes south of the historic Third Ward District, downtown Milwaukee. We tried their version of crab Rangoon, it was great. We had one pork Ramen dish and a teriyaki tofu dish. The Ramen was the best I've had. The teriyaki was perfect, not to saucy or sweet. Service was great, food came out fast. We went there on a Wednesday at 5 and it was packed. That tells you locals dig it!

Erika Pedersen: The only pre fee coursed meal I'd experienced before coming to Ardent was Thomas Keller's Per Se.... Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had.Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. Everyone cross your fingers!!!!
John Ess: Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in the world. Every dish was fantastic. The food was very interesting, with innovative ingredients. More importantly, unlike some fine dining restaurants, they made sure that every innovative dish was absolutely delicious. Particularly the koji ice cream with brown rice and caviar, the shiitake rooibos tea, and the madras carrot cake. They also made great substitutions for my pescatarian wife. Excellent beverage pairing as well, and perfect portion sizes. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: They can make a vegetarian tasting menu, with great veggie options.

It was cool to see the kitchen plating and have every dish explained. Highly suggest getting the wine pairing. I have never had a drink paired so well with the food. It brought out so many different flavors. Everyone made you feel welcomed and answered any questions we may have had. Overall 10/10 experience. We can not wait to go back!! Charles Behrmann: Cool bar, great selection of beverages including their own canned old fashioneds! They had 3 separate bar areas to go to which was nice and offered pretty much the same selection everywhere including a delicious brandy slush!Large Windows offered a nice natural light, not sure if they opened in summer. They had a cool deal where you could get a shirt, shot and beer for $28 which seemed great, but the beer was limited to 2 choices and the shot was just the house Brandy- which was Delicious, but not everyone in the group liked brandy- still a cool offer and a pretty good price.A few down sides were that it was a little cramped by the 2 dart boards with people cutting through the game being right next to the bar and tables. Also there's was only enough darts for one board- not a huge deal but realized after we put money in and had to Wait 40 minutes for another group to finish, luckily we weren't in a hurry. The men's bathroom only had 1 stall and 1 urinal which didn't seem like much for how large the bar was.I didn't even realize they offered food there if they did, I didn't see a menu anywhere.This bar was definitely unique, the brand is awesome, great concept, and I'll go back again for sure!

We will definitely be back but I hope it will be with a different server.Kid-friendliness: Server was rude to my son. She was very short and snappy when he was trying to translate for my hard of hearing mother. The hibachi chef had to get him kids chopsticks. He was very nice and showed more initiative than she did and I'm sure she's the one that gets the tip. I wish he had gotten all of it.

Cemmy: They now carry more Japanese items and specialty Asian spirits like soju and sake. I'm so happy! I moved away and make the 30 minute drive about once a month to stock up.I could spend a small fortune in this grocery store. There is so much great produce and specialty produce stuff that you won't find in the local area stores. The kimchi they carry is amazing, too.Lots of choices for soy sauce, miso paste, gochujjang, and other ingredients that I would rather buy here than at the reg grocery store.Plenty of traditional dried ingredients used for medicine.I do recommend checking expiration dates. I've picked up a few expired things. Nothing too egregious and it was still usable in my opinion.The addition of home items has been great. I haven't had much time to browse, but there are lots of things I saw overseas that I haven't seen in a long time. Can't lie, I was so happy I could have cried.Prices are very fair, considering a lot of the shelf stable items are imported. I can only hope they continue to carry many Japanese items.Don't expect much help. They run lean and mean staffing wise. If you're not sure what something is, use your smartphone and a translation app. Or Google.

Laura Stranc: Hadn't been here in years, was pleasantly surprised to see they expanded! Great selection of yummy Asian foods, they even had the pre covid recipe Rooster Sriracha sauce! Wish I had bought like 10 bottles of it. It's always worth it to stop here.
Mariette Rose: This is one of my favorite Asian grocery stores to shop at, mostly for the frozen rice cakes to make Tteobokki with. There's a large variety of items, though stock can vary from time to time

Christopher John: I recently started cooking different kinds of Asian foods, Chinese, Korean, Thai, etc. As I had very good teachers, they informed me that a lot of items would be very difficult to find. After going to several other Asian markets in my area, no one had half of the items I needed.I had been to the store once before for a difficult item! This time I was absolutely amazed to find the items that I needed, working very difficult to find! Some I couldn’t even find in the Asian market in Orlando Florida. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to take the time to make sure you have exactly what you need, before you leave the store! Prices are average to extremely low, compared to any other market in the area.Thank you for welcoming me into your store. I will be there probably every other two days for my healthy needs.
Jason Shebesta: Amazing store with everything specialty you could need for Asian traditional dishes even fresh butchered fish, sauces, peppers, mushrooms they have it all you will not be disappointed shopping here, you will always find something you need here. They now have a conveyor line cashier as well as the original counter cashier

Veronica “Ronnie” Barrett: I come here once every few weeks or so. At least once a month. I like to make homemade pho and this is the store I like to get my ingredients from. I love this store and have been coming here since I was a kid and would come with my mom. I hope they stay open for a long time.
