Bay View Books And Music: what do users think?

M. Erwin: Huge variety of books available. The owner represents ideas of all kinds in the shop and does not display bias of concepts. Reasonable pricing and good organization. It’s everything a book store should be.

Latoya Lewis: They have lots of great things.

Troy Woods: Been a fan of their "what they are playing" posts on Facebook. Finally got to stop by. Could spend days looking at books and vinyl. Walked out with a stack of old interesting books. Looking forward to going back.

Mike Ponticelli: which I was more than happy to purchase, for the purpose of hollowing out and subsequent firearm concealment.

Marissa Tims: I'm so happy to have found this bookstore. I needed an escape from the crowds and this was the perfect oasis. I got a few books and I can't wait to read them. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back. The cashier was so nice and patient with me. I really appreciated their kindness. I wish there were more bookstores like this one where I live. Take advantage of the opportunity to visit this one. You won't be sorry.

Nicole Sanders: Huge selection and always willing to help you look! Came in looking for one thing and left with a handful I couldn't pass up.

Shawn Archer: Great people , good selection

Gregory Heisel: Very knowledgeable and honest evaluation's.

Ian Burton: This is easily one of my favorite bookstores in the country. I come from out of state, and I make a point to visit whenever I am in the area. Humble and rich with character and selection.

Tesla Lockwood: Waiting for a table at Honeypie's new location, we were recommended a stroll through the neighborhood until our text arrived that a table was available. We were drawn in by the inviting open door, and we're surprised when we entered. They have such a massive selection; when we walked in we had no idea what we were getting into!I tucked in right away to the first corner, filled with graphic novels. We barely made it to the rest of the store when our table was ready. Looking forward to finding more time to make our way back there and through their vast selection.Prices are higher than one might anticipate, but the selection is varied and wide, and the quality is high. Well worth the cost.

Boswell Book Company: what do users think?

Joe Boring: Lovely independent bookseller. Friendly staff and great selection.

Nick Stricharchuk: Wonderful bookstore. I also have to note that this is the most reliable shop I’m aware of in Milwaukee for quality greeting cards. As a man, it’s incredibly difficult to find stationery that is gender-neutral, let alone content that isn’t just generally corny. Highly recommend.

Megan Davis: Love this place! If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they will order it for you!

Julia Anderson: Great selection, cute merchandise, a great indie bookstore

Roberto Rojas: What a great book store! Love the feel and atmosphere of this local book shop. They carry a great mix of classics and new interesting reads. The small review and recommendation cards below books are so helpful for finding new interesting books and authors. We also especially love going here and getting recommendations for books for our kids. Boswell’s staff have introduced us to so many great new series that our kids have loved! Always so impressed with the help we receive. Overall, just love this place!

Christine: The boys were very helpful for me.Aren't good at ordering books for me and glad you're not going to win.I appreciate that there's still a book.So I can go to and get boxing prints.Thank you

Jen Vega: Impactful author's talk in a wonderful independent book store! Highly recommend.

John Shefchik: It is always an exciting adventure to walk into a real bookstore and wander among the offerings! Boswell is especially great because they offer smart staff recommendations for many books. These help me to find the books that will inform or entertain me. And I find that there are pleasures in owning, handling, and gifting “real”books … Boswell supports those pleasures.

J. Peck: Loved it

Lance Neukirch: Great bookstore with large new selection.

Drew: To be upfront, I'm not from Milwaukee, but I'm up here often. Boswell's is the best local book place I've been to which is why I keep heading back. The staff recommendations are nice, diverse, and cover all categories. Comfy chairs scattered throughout the store and a good selection of book adjacent items like notebooks, calendars, puzzles, and other items. Seems to me like they have sections throughout the store for whatever your reading preference is and regardless of age.

Erin Carlson Rivera: An amazing independent bookstore! The selection is great, and the staff always have good recommendations when I ask for help.

Jerry Woelffer: Need more book stores

Shifty 01: I like this place a lot. That's very comfortable. There's tons of variety in books. And the service here is very kind. The only problem I had was how loud it can be. It is also connected to a mall but I wish it wasn't so loud for a quiet place.

Robert McGowan: Clean store. Friendly staff.

Downtown Books Bought & Sold: what do users think?

Mae Zitzke: and selection of music/records as well.

Indrani Ghosh: A magical place for all book lovers

Kraig: Downtown books is the closest thing to Hogwarts in Milwaukee. It feels magical. Books as high as the ceiling; in stacks and bundles and piles, tucked away in every inch and corner of the building. Books bridges sprawling between aisles and every genre you could possibly need. Great options for children’s book and they even have a record collection. This place is with checking out if you are passing through or you’re a local.

Isa Burke: an amazing collection of books, thoughtfully arranged, with great deals and a great vibe

Denise Johnson: Lots and lots of used books. Takes time to scan the shelves. Interesting place.

Matthew Steckling: Incredible selection and great prices, we’ll absolutely be back again and again. So many kids books!

Daniel Law: Everything you want in a bookstore. Great service. Well organized. Nice selection.

Matthew Karge: GREAT book store. I could spend all day there!

Mary Town: Everything that I want in a bookshop- floor to ceiling shelves in winding maze like passageways, ladders leaning here and there, an eclectic collection of used books, comic books, old iconography...

Lucy Blythe: This is a book lovers paradise!

Matthew Blythe: Wow, what a bookstore.

Tim Klicker: Good selectiom

Resonant Memories Archive: Fantastic atmosphere and great selection. My go-to used bookshop. Prices are very reasonable but you may have to do some searching to find what you want, but that's part of the fun of it!

Carlos Diaz (Rafa): . Two awesome cats will bless your presence as well ♡♡ Mr.Sanders seems a little more social, and Bustopher Jones is also a very cool guy. The Exclusive Company: what do users think?

Nicholas Susedik: Best record store in town in my opinion. They have a large selection, their hip hop selection is best I’ve seen. Staff is great. Really cool people who are also the owners. I recommend stopping there and checking it out.

Josh Flint: Always a lovely time going to Lilliput! Most of my records I've gotten at shops have been from Lilliput. I really enjoy its warm and moody interior, it helps make browsing far more enjoyable. The selection is also great for my tastes, and they seem to restock fairly frequently. The employees have also been respectful and kind every time. Keep on being great guys!Edit after another year of shopping at Lilliput: still a fantastic shop. Their selection is still consistently fantastic, their new releases are strong and relevant, and their record store day events are awesome! If you ain't come here yet, what are you doing?!??

Logan Figueroa: Loved it just needs more Hip Hop

Dripfeed Records: Very nice clean record store with a HUGE selection. Staff is very cool and helpful and nice. One of the best shops in Milwaukee.

Haunted Abyss (HauntedAbyss): Great variety and decent prices

Alejandro Constantino: Probably the biggest record store I've ever seen, with a TREMENDOUS variety. They always serve you very well

Cory Sprinkel: Great selection of vinyls and nice, helpful staff.

Sherry Bailey Peterson: Great selection & always fair pricing. Always stop here when I'm in town.

Mia Smith: Excellent selection of vinyl!!

Marin Pechota: I haven't been in yet, but I reached out to the store to ask about a vinyl that's coming out in two months. I wanted to see if they were going to get a shipment in, and they respond 10 minutes later after I sent it! If that's their customer service even before I step foot in the store itself, I'm excited to check it on person.

Roland Clary: This was very, very fun. It’s a very big place with very nice people, and it has records and cassettes and everything like music from A to Z. I got a Nirvana record.

Mike Dorn: albums from this store. I am and will be a returning customer.

DÖug: Best store of all time!

John Dykstra: Great shop run by great people

Donald Gerbing: Very helpful. No other place wanted to help

Jason Bernard: Great shop. Friendly people, fantastic selection. Vinyl lover's paradise.

Renaissance Books: what do users think?

tracey carson: Best book store I have ever been in at any airport. Great variety of books on Wisconsin. I recently traveled out of MKE instead of Madison which is closer to me so I could go to the bookstore at MKE. Love the customer service.

Stephanie Chin: Best little bookstore in the world. In the main terminal of the airport, so accessible to anyone. Is used books. They’re very inexpensive. Quickly get a paper back for your flight in any subject you can possibly imagine.

Daniel Richardson: book every time it is open when I fly so that I have a new book for whatever trip I am leaving for.

Vel Natarajan: Owner helped me choose my first Kurt Vonnegut book. He was extremely knowledgeable about each book, giving me a critic level synopsis of Cats Cradle and Slaughterhouse Five.

Aaron Albright: I love this place, it's an experience that you just otherwise can't find these days. I check for DND books every time I visit this airport. It's a modern day Pagemaster!

Kathee Boyle: Kind of fun to explore.

Eleos Alatheia: I absolutely love this bookstore! Its eclectic disheveled look give it character and charm. The few times I've been there I've always found something unique and worth buying.

Karmar O: What a great bookstore! Reminds me of my favorites in Madison, Evanston and Chicago! So fun searching for hard to find items! Park in the hourly near baggage, go up one flight and it’s on the right. Must check out! The owner is very nice too!

Jeremy: Best bookstore I've been to in a long time. Great selection. Friendly staff

Kito Dennykopec: An original among airport bookstores with its eclectic mix of used and new, Wisconsin works and history. Often that's where I see hard-to-find books, or something that's the perfect gift. I pass through MKE a few times every year, and like to budget time to browse at Renaissance.

Will Cappon: Shockingly good book store in the airport. Great selection, prices, and overall vibe. Used books.

Claire Kroenke: The Native American section is the best I've ever seen.

Joe Ludwig: A nice place to kill time before traveling or waiting for someone to arrive. Books are everywhere, stacked and hanging off shelves, but it adds to the charm. The selection has some rare items, some still in shrinkwrap as well.

James Aderman: I love the vibe of this bookstore. Its cascade of books. It's disheveled shelves. The only better bookstore was its now closed older sister in downtown Milwaukee. If you love books and love hunting for a new read, Renaissance is worth a drive to the airport even if you aren't flying.

Aaron Chandler: So many treasures to be found here! Found this when we got stuck on a delayed connection in 2012. I make it a point to go to the MKE airport anytime I'm driving thru Milwaukee just to visit this shop. And who ever wants to go to an airport when they do not HAVE to? 😁
