Christina Jackson: **Update**I returned to nail bar for another pedicure. Much better results. Amy did an excellent job. Atmosphere and aesthetic were still on par and service was excellent. I would also like to point out that they offered me a free pedicure after my last visit and honored their promise. I truly appreciate hood customer service above all else.Cute concept. Loved the atmosphere, and the nail yech was really nice. But after I got home and really took a close look at my pedicure, it was mediocre at best. I would probably give them another chance to change my mind, though.

Taylor Wood: We used nail bar for our wedding. Myself and my bridesmaids went the morning before my wedding and everyone loved their nails. They were easy to work with for a large group and the nail artists all did a fantastic job. The video is from the day of and photos are about 2 weeks out. I got a no chip mani and pedi and even now almost 3 weeks later, other than the grow out my nails still look just as fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Scott Cherek: Well, it's been over 5 years since I visited VICI for a haircut. There's a spa area and a hair styling area. This is a beauty school - meaning students will be cutting your hair or doing beauty care. They offer many hair care services, cuts, trims, coloring and more. I'm a basic guy, so just a haircut. It costs $13 here. Great deal right! Yes, please remember to tip your stylish OK. Quinn cut my hair, she was friendly, professional, and did what I needed. She said she has a month to go, until graduation and on to other things, like a gig at a salon or studio. The instructors also come by and check the student's work. A great value here! Might take a bit longer with the school setting - but we'll worth it!
Puddies Mom: My daughter who has 4c curly hair long and thick wanted a edgy color for back to school. The student did a fantastic job debulking her thick hair with a super cute layered face framing cut. The color turned out amazing. The student took before pics and afterwards took my daughter outside to take photos of how gorgeous the color turned out. Everyone at my daughters school complimented her on how much they love her hair. Its so fun and cute I just love it and the price was so reasonable!

I didn't want to eat my emotions at the Public Market, so instead I looked up nail salons in the area to splurge on something relaxing. I'm so glad I found Nula La. Kara was wonderful. I was able to get a quick question answered through the Nula La facebook page and the online booking was super easy. Kara and Ann are wonderful women that make you feel so welcome in their comfortable loft space. The shellac manicure I got is perfection. My hands haven't been so well treated in ages. Kara is meticulous about how your nails look and wants you to be happy leaving her shop. I don't get manicures regularly, it's a once and while splurge. But I might have to make it a more semi-regular thing now. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Erinn Craine: I can’t say enough good things about Aveda IBW. I went to school here as well and everyone is always so kind. I went back recently and Brooke was great. She did a color retouch on me and she was so great at paying attention to detail. And so sweet! Kyle is also fantastic and so helpful. I’ll be back!

Alexa Rodriguez: i went in for another trim a few days later, had another gamma hairstylist that was also very nice and i was happy with her work as i left the salon, but after I got home and showered i realized there were a few sections of my hair that were not symmetrical. one side of my bangs is way way too short and it doesn’t stay down without styling it. I can’t do anything about it now except grow it out unfortunately. besides this, everything is clean , they wash your hair and my trim was free because it was within two weeks of my first appointment. teachers are always checking in on their students, and I can tell many of these people do well with their clients and have a passion for hair styling, but the bangs situation is very upsetting even if it was accidental

Debbie G: When the elevator door opens, and you step into the salon area at IBW, you just know you are somewhere special. The space has the feel of a very busy, high end salon. For a fraction of the cost of the same service in a traditional salon, you can get a well-trained Aveda student, as well as the clinician overseeing their work. You do need to allow extra time for the instructor to visit the station, but it's well worth the wait.

I have never had a bad experience and have the utmost of confidence in the training process IBW has in place to assure the customer the student is properly supervised during the hair cut. It honestly made us feel comfortable and grateful they were so thoughtful here. Besides nails, they also pierce ears. We saw a little girl get her ears pierced. Her big sister video-ed it for her. The man who pierced her ears walked her through the whole process and she had a nice experience. This place is fantastic! Highly recommend!

As I was getting my Mani from Sammy, I commented on how I liked her nail color. She said it was the powder dip. I was surprised to hear that they had powder dip. This had only been my 3rd visit. So I ended up getting powder dip instead of Shellac. I love the color of my toes and fingers!

Tatum Matlock: I come here a lot so I thought I would finally post a review. This place is great the majority of the nail artists are very good at what they do. I can't speak for everyone there but if you like perfection I can vouch for Mary, Christine, Ben, Sunny, and Tracy. I think Sunny and Tracy only do manicures, not pedis. And if I want nail art or dip/acrylic I'd go to Ben or Sunny. I am sure there are other good artists there but I don't know them all - read the reviews and call to make an appointment with one of those people if you want to have a great experience. The service is really great and everyone is always really nice, but sometimes they get extremely busy. Avoid any hiccups by making an appointment and/or not going during the 5-7pm rush on weekdays if possible. They can usually always get you in if you call the morning of.
