Lore Lisheron: Beautiful event space. Excellent food and service.Food & drinks: Our event had a brunch buffet which offered delicious and healthy selections as well as traditional fare. Many beverages included juice, coffee & tea, and alcoholic options.
Easton Frindlestone: My first time staying at this hotel was super easy using the Hilton app to book, check in, unlock my room etc. My second time staying at this hotel was on a business trip that my boss had booked my hotel room for, and he had entered some information incorrectly which led to some difficulties at the front desk. Haley stepped in to help out her colleague who was assisting me with this & she went above and beyond to make sure that the strange and complicated issue was resolved in the best possible way.All of my interactions with staff have been great, the dogs are adorable, and the hotel does a great job handling events hosted here and at the attached convention center. The Starbucks in the lobby is super convenient. There's also a Walgreens just down the street to shop for basics at. 👍

Nicholas Platias: What a great hotel!! Right next to historic 3rd and close to the river walk. Rooms were affordable and clean. Truly one of the most beautiful buildings I've stayed in.Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfy. High ceilings were cool.Nearby activities: I mean walk a block any direction and there's something to do.Safety: Pretty safe part of town.Walkability: Very walkable city!
Paul Graf: Had a fabulous visit for my neices wedding. Hotel staff was great and very accommodating.Noteworthy details: Nestled in downtown Milwaukee; the building was an insurance building and has the history of the building as well as the city. It's only a short drive to the brewery district.

Carl Their: We had an amazing stay for a volleyball tournament Jan 13 & 14 2024...during a Blizzard. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in arranging rooms for our whole volleyball team 2 nights early, so that we could travel & beat the storm. In addition, our girls had space to gather and play games to keep them occupied for the extra time in the hotel. The breakfast was a nice touch as we were less willing to drive in the weather. The hotel is also located next to 3rd Avenue Market - which has numerous food vendors, bars, activities in one central location. Short walk to the Wisconsin Baird Center to the volleyball tournament really helped when it was below zero temperatures!
N H: The rooms are fine. I think each one has it's own quirk. But what really shines here is the staff. I had an issue with my room in the evening and went to the front desk a bit irritated. The two ladies behind the desk did everything within their power to fix the issue and they did. But the best part is they see you as a person not a corporate desk person speaking to a customer. If I catch their names I'll update this cause they amongst the rest of the staff should be recognized.

Difficult to compare to the Marriotts in Asia which are frankly the best. Uncomparable.Noteworthy details: Executive lounge actually has wine M - Th evening. Whereas Marriotts have basically full on bar service in their Asia properties and gourmet meals in the Executive lounge.

Warren O: Just wanted to drop in and say we’ve stayed here several times and this is honestly one of our favorite hotels across the country. Know what sets it apart? The service staff / such beautiful nice people that work here. I can be having the worst of days and the people here are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever dealt with. Some of the most top notch service we’ve received. Facilities are nice and clean and place is conveniently located as well!!! Highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it.

Abby Klein: . They worked together as a team, were incredibly quick and efficient and remained friendly and warm while juggling a dozen cars and sets of keys. I interacted with them a few other times - each time the team members went out of their way to brighten my day and make me feel welcome. No clue how Aloft assembled such a solid team - but as a woman in business, I urge you to do whatever it takes to retain every member of the valet staff! One in a million
Jose Macias: Great place to stay. Within walking distance to the Fiserv forum and too downtown Milwaukee. Couldn't find the Mansion in Wisconsin that T pain was talking about, but no worries. Still had a great time here. Anyways, one of the rooms was smelling like cigarettes. We asked to be moved and they let us and there other room smelled a lot better. Felt welcomed here and would come back to visit when the Celtics come to play.
C Coger: Beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. Walking distance to so many bars, restaurants and the Bucks! The meeting space was perfect for our group. The bar and seating areas made it perfect for us to mingle between events. The staff was great and they make breakfast work even though it isn't a full spread. The rooms were clean and bed was super comfy.

Jennifer Hepola: Was in town for a volleyball tournament and it was the perfect location! The valets were amazing, especially Vince who helped load my luggage back into my vehicle.Walkability: Within walking distance of many restaurants and the Wisconsin Center is right across the street.
Andrea Huisden Brown: Older building in a great location with a wonderful staff. Front desk staff were creative problem solvers. Breakfast hostess had all the food and coffee out an hour early so our kiddos could eat before heading to their volleyball tournament. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs and it showed in how each one went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Obviously a very well managed team!Walkability: Easy to get to volleyball tournament and that great food court mall thing.
Tavorris Garrett: My wife and I stayed here 1/10/24 -1/15/24 to attend Bucks games as we are season ticket holders. First off the location is perfect within walking distance to Fiserv and 3rd Street Market. The best part about this property is the staff hands down! Very accommodating and pleasant and made our brief stay stress free. I wish I could remember the young lady that checked us in but she deserves a shoutout as she went well and beyond to get us the layout that worked best for our remote work needs. I highly recommend this property.

Karmar O: Stayed here while family attended game at Fiserve Forum. The first impression was when the bellman approached us at the car at entrance. We needed to move a little and he was so pleasant and professional that I liked the hotel immediately. He also helps us with our bags and was just a pleasant positive guy. This was so appreciated after a long drive after a long day of work! His name was Jordan R. The hotel was great! Clean, with breakfast and good coffee in lobby. I was able to watch the game downstairs in a large venue with multipleLOCAL dining options that included several diverse options and ethnicities. Husband and son said the walk to Fiserv wasn’t bad either. What a great place to stay in Milwaukee! So glad we also got to do the Jingle Bell bus which was fascinating to learn about the history of Milwaukee. This happened to start right at this hotel! Excellent experience!
Grassleaf: I really like this hotel! It has a pool and it also has something kind of like a mall in the back. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because the TV somehow got on max volume and the remote won't turn it down. So please fix the tvsFood & drinks: At the back there is something that actually used to be a mall which has a lot of food to eat. So I highly recommend checking that out.

Tony Kinnett: The hotel is very nicely kept, and one of the better in the Autograph Collection. The star of this stay is undoubtedly the service.The front desk staff and the cleaning/maintenance crew were friendly, thorough, and well beyond what I'd expect at a chain like this. Given the opportunity, I will be staying here whenever in Milwaukee in the future.
M Taylor: This is an independent hotel boutique that is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Program. I did receive an upgrade to a Presidents suite, but don't be confused because they have several of them. The decor of the room is nice but it is not new, it is starting to show some wear and tear. The climate control is not great as it is an older building with forced radiator heat that you cannot turn off. The AC could not cool the room as needed for us at night. Valet parking is $40, there is local self parking nearby for less than $20. There are several great restaurants nearby. I give 3 stars when I am satisfied with my experience but would not go out of my way to return. I would stay at a different property on my next trip.
Flip Flop Guy: Very nice rooms! Clean and modernized with a warm feeling to them. Staff was friendly and valet prompt! A few unique drawback’s experienced would be that the room temp was too warm and no matter the setting, would not lower. The television also didn’t display anything but movie channels and local channels. The casting didn’t work either. Finally, there was the sound of music bass well past midnight that could be heard. I am not sure if that was the very cool pufferfish tiki bar on the sixth floor or a place across the street. Made for a tough sleep. All in all though, a very nice hotel and one we would definitely visit again!

The building is so cute--everything is super clean, chic and inviting----but the staff is what really shines. The ladies at the front desk/reception were so helpful and kind to us we....but everyone who works here is amazing. We were just so impressed by the level of service and the straight-up kindness we were shown we will be back for a third stay! Excellent job Hotel Metro!

It’s kind of like a old-school back in the 1960s vibe with a modern twist but it’s crazy because everything is real good the vibe the food the drinks the room everything is really elegant and nice plus it’s downtown in the center of everything in MILWAUKEE I think they got another one in New York if I’m not mistaken, but you gotta check it out. This is definitely one of the top hotels in downtown MILWAUKEE, you get waited on hand and foot from the time you get out the car until the time you get to your room even after that, there’s always someone that’s there to help you throughout your whole stay you got like a personal maid or bails men

Kenneth Trommler: Had a wonderful two night stay at the Ambassador. The shuttle driver Taurus was very kind and helpful. The rooms were quaint and quiet. The art deco feel of the lobby was beautiful. Stained glass and old time radios line the walls. Would highly recommend a stay at the Ambassador. The parking garage was great as well. Other reviews mention abandoned cars, I saw zero during my stay and my car felt very secure. Overall a wonderful stay. Ate at the Gin Rickey as well, half of appetizers got the slider trio and it was perfect.

But it stops there, during the night, its not a place you'd want to walk around solo.Parking is horrendous.

Carrie Engstrom: We really enjoyed our stay at the Knickerbocker, the service was great and it was fun being in a historic hotel. The restaurant is really good too. The only thing that was somewhat troublesome were the people next to us being rather loud so I'm guessing the walls are a little thin. Also, when they cooked the odor was pretty strong. Otherwise it's a lovely hotel and we would stay there again.

The hotel is also great with a massive pool for swimming laps and great hot tub. The pool is even heated and warm! Lots of hotels say it’s heated but then it’s cold. I recommend staying here with Nicole overseeing operations!!

The service was beautiful and so grateful I made the effort to go.I expected to fly home the same day...and sadly my connecting flight to Detroit was delayed so I ended up staying overnight in Milwaukee and fly through Atlanta to avoid any additional delays the next morning. So far, so good!I called into Delta once I realized what was happening and avoided a massive line. I used points to book a hotel, again did not want to wait in a 100+ person line. I booked the Courtyard by Marriott/Milwaukee Airport. I called and they sent a bus to pick me up. Kurt was a wonderful and entertaining driver, and a passionate Packer's fan! I enjoyed listening to his story and took my mind off of not getting home in time for our brunch the next morning. When I arrived, Monica kindly and warmly greeted me and unknowingly upgraded me to a suite, very kind. She provided me with some personal amenities as I was not prepared! She also delivered some water to my room, thank you!The room was spacious, very comfortable and helped make a difficult situation a little better.When I was leaving this morning, the lady at the desk was gracious, gave me some change, envelopes and we talked about the Courtyard experience. Courtyard's may not be the most luxurious properties yet they are comfortable and do the trick! Most importantly their people are truly *****! Thank you to the lady that checked me out and the gentleman that drove me to the airport - truly appreciated! Overall a great experience for a difficult situation!

A comfortable bed is ideal, as is a reasonably quiet environment at night.Reading these reviews when you're trying to decide where to book is not always helpful, right? I will try to be helpful.I was in room 603, a room with a king bed. It was very clean when I arrived, and even though it overlooked the highway, there was very little noise from the outside. The room was beautiful, with nice amenities, high ceilings, a ceiling fan, a TV that was at least 55 inches, a desk, a small couch, and two chairs.I found it absolutely pleasant, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Jurga Tautkute: . Even is right next to major highway - you cant hear the noise in the rooms .I stayed in Corner suite - best room with the view. Impressive old building remodeled to modern clean and charming hotel . There are 18th century items recovered during remodeling displayed in the lobby .Great helpful staff. Parking near by. Charging station for electric cars . Absolutely best . 4 stars due to the breakfast not being served properly . It was a busy weekend and obviously hotel wasn't ready for that . We had to stay in line and most of the food was already gone . Even the coffee station wasn't filled up . Hope they fill fix it soon - I am planning to stay here all the time when in Milwaukee !
Yukeun Jeon: has high ceiling and the herring bone wooden floor. The location is the icing on the cupcake. I wished I could have stayed longer in this hotel and Milwaukee. The only complaint we has was the pull out bed was super uncomfortable. You could almost see /feel the spring through the sheets. Other than that I definately recommend this hotel.
Jerad Tonn: The building is beautiful and they do a nice job of telling it's history throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and nice and the continental breakfast was better than most I've had. The only bad experience was that all the bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in my shower we empty. I notified the front desk the first morning, and it was not corrected, so the two mornings I spent there I had to shower with only the bar of hand soap. Not great, but also wouldn't stop me from going back.
Tammy Moore: We stayed in July, we walked to the fireworks by the lake beautiful! So many venues amd restaurants to walk to and shopping of course. The hotel is very historic on the outside the red brick is outstanding.Then you enter the hotel and everything is updated and modernized very sophisticated. We loved the views from our room overlooking downtown. Room was well stocked with Everthing you could Think of! Emily: , very limited view considering it was a "lake view" room, a very small bathroom, and thin walls where we could hear neighbors talking at night. We found the room hot but the thermostat would not let us lower the setting any further. There was one mirror in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, clean, and room service was outstanding and better than expected.One elevator was out of service for a day or two but was fixed before we left. Our guest card didn't let us out of the parking ramp. The help button didn't work, and when we called the front desk no one answered. We had to physically get out of the car and walk to the front desk to have them give new cards to exit the ramp. Luckily no one was waiting behind us in the ramp.Luggage racks were unavailable unless you pay/tip the concierge/bell hop service to bring the bags for you. They won't let you use one if you ask.The pool was clean. I wish it had more jets to filter the water. There was no hot tub. The pool towels were very nice.The fitness center had a good amount of weights and equipment but looked dirty like it needed to be vacuumed and wiped down. It was in the basement.Club access was nice and staff were very friendly. I loved the fresh cut fruit at breakfast. I wish pancakes or waffles had been included.Club daytime snacks included gummy bears, snack mix, chips, m+m's, Kind/Clif bars, pop, and other beverages. Too much junk for the kids. I think apples and oranges were also available.Club evening hors derves weren't that great and they looked inexpensive- chunks of stinky cheese with flatbread sesame crackers, wontons, baked pierogis, an honor bar and macrons every night.We witnessed a staff with long blond hair come into the Club room from the Blu bar, grab tips, and then return back to the Blu bar room.The Mason Street Grille was very expensive and not kid friendly. The service was slow and the food was not great.
