Jill: My daughter and I visited on a Saturday afternoon to buy a couple of plants for her apartment. We were greeted by a superFriendly lab. The greenhouse staff was super helpful as we were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of beautiful plants. He helped us narrow our choices, gave us tips on how to care for them, helped us repot them and they even wrapped them and put them in a box for easy transporting. We loved it there and would definitely recommend it to others looking for plants.

Their plants are so healthy and they have a great selection.The staff there are always so nice. I'm paralyzed and use a power wheelchair..the staff always help get my plants for me and also put them in my vehicle.

walker49: Plant Land is a family run business which is owned by a brother and sister. They are very knowledgeable as are their dedicated employees. I look forward to spring to walk thru their beautiful greenhouses which are stocked with well tended annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs. This year I bought our annuals the end of April. Their plants sell out quick so if you have your heart set on a particular plant, be sure to shop early in the season.

Rachel Karlin: We hired Bluemel’s Summer 2023 for two drainage projects. I was happy with their responsiveness, their easy-to-use job management tool, and the completed work.First, they tied together a gutter downspout and sump pump discharge, buried them underground and had them discharge at the back of the yard. Jim was our sales person and it was clear he and Bluemel’s have experience with this type of work and were confident in their approach. The stone basin they added at the end of the discharge area was a really nice touch! The grass seed and fertilizer they applied in the disrupted area was applied well and grew in very nicely, despite it being August when the work was done.Second, Jim also helped us figure out how to address a tricky drainage situation by our chimney. Although my clematis and tulips did not survive the work, we are happy the drainage issue is addressed.The work was done when promised, and there were no issues whatsoever!

The staff is knowledgable and very helpful in directing customers to specific plants and to answer questions about their care. Customers are allowed to use rolling carts to collect their choices as they peruse the aisles to view the many available varieties of flowering plants as well as vegetables. It is a pleasure to plan spring planting at this beautiful garden spot.

Susan Strait: Bayside has the best selection of garden plants— annuals, perennials, shrubs and roses, and herbs and vegetables. I rely on them each growing season for everything I need. Plus, I love browsing the plants in their year-round greenhouse, where I can find everything from orchids to seasonal plants to a huge selection of house plants. Glad to have Bayside in the neighborhood!!

Nicholas Hesed: A Christmas wonderland! Trees, wreaths, swags, bows, yard ornaments, and unique poinsettias. Some special stuff much like their houseplant and outdoor plants in spring, summer, and fall. An enjoyable place and well organized. Been purchasing there for years but never saw the Christmas selection.
Anne Giuntoli: Shout out to Caitlin for her superb service! I visited Bayside Garden Center twice today. At the first visit, I bought a large cactus and Caitlin was my cashier. She seemed sincerely excited that I was buying it, and this made me smile. Then a few hours later I stopped in again to shop for another plant and to diagnose an issue with a palm plant I already own. Caitlin was super knowledgable, friendly and patient as I asked her a thousand questions. She showed interest and provided excellent, thoughtful advice about what type of plant would be best for my space. And she lovingly repotted and gave me suggestions and product advice to help my stressed palm plant get back on its feet. Thank you, Caitlin, for your enthusiasm and excellent service - I’ll be shopping with you/Bayside Garden Center again for sure!
