Alex Diamond: Nostalgic neighborhood pool still providing an enjoyable experience in 2023. The fact that it is still open when a lot of other inner city pools have closed in recent years is a testament to the county’s desire to provide opportunities for the community to cool off and chill on hot days.Took off one star because I’m 25 and they still wanted me to take a swimming test to swim in the deep part of the pool while most other pools stop testing after the swimmer reaches 18, I could’ve passed the test but it was insulting to have even been required to take it so I didn’t on principle of the rule being unnecessary.
Charlotte FULLER: I swim laps here several times a week. It’s a great community pool and the only public 50 meter swimming pool in Milwaukee, great for swimming those laps.

Edward Stevenette: I grew up here. I can remember having to show my swimming aptitude to the lifeguards before I could go to the "deep-end". I spent many bus rides down 27th street to Howard. With a brief stop at Toys R Us. God I really miss that! So many wonderful memories, playing, swimming, fishing, toys, games, baseball, ice skating, and hockey. That area between 20th and Howard and 27th and Howard, Wilson Park, has held more moments, memories, and wonderful experiences! Nothing was better, nor could it have been. It was pure childhood bliss!

Kyle Taffe: If you are in the area I definitely recommend you come here. This pool is a good size, the water is warm, and it is clean. Also, this pool has a high dive that we really liked. The lifeguards are pretty laid-back and they’re nice. Also, the locker rooms were clean and the showers had warm water and they were private.

Sure enough my friend started going here alone, Invited me..soon she told me about it, I went with her the very next morning. It was fantastic relaxing and definitely not crowded Love that there's no drama and We respect 1 another N so far its us grown folks you know maybe mid 30's on up. The life guards and aerobic teachers are the young ones lol...God I'm so happy I can go here do 1 hr to 3 most days n come straight home after showering and washing off all the chlorine coming home relaxed and no stress love love love love it would give it a 10 if i could..this definitely will be our GO to place all yr round 😂 .

The trails are moderately challenging to very easy. There are enough trails that you could spend hours biking there. They could put out a trail map though so you know where to go.

Hunting “Hunting380”: Best ice rink around! I REALLY wish you guys would do stick and puck! A lot of people would LOVE to be able to practice and start playing hockey here!
Kristin Sprang: I've been going to this rink since I was a kid and it's oddly comforting that it has barely changed at all in the past 25 years. They used to have a separate window open for skate rentals and they really need to go back to that. It currently takes forever to pay because they're doing payments and rentals out of one window and that really slows things down. The ice surface is in better condition than it once was so I'm happy to see that's been dealt with.

Charles Wasik: What a hidden secret! A very well-kept older facility. The skates that we rented looked nearly new. For the first half hour that we were there, our family were the only people on the rink. Once some skaters did arrive, they were all newbies and hugged the wall. Reasonable rates for skating and rental. Around $35 for four people for four hours of skating. Snacks and beverages are pricey. $3 for a bottle of H2O
Jon Brackett: The Wilson Park Ice Palace and family fun center is the place to be! Rink is not too cold; metal bench seating; sound system is improving. Near by amenities include Hockey Locker for gear and Mavericks for beer

Selena Valdiviezo: Came for the pool. They open from 1:30 to 4:30 very big pool.4 lofe guards on duty which is nice when u have young children. In the indoors theres the ice floor for hockey. For pool kids 2 and under are free. 3-11yrs pay $3 each. And 12 and up its $4. Pool is big. No food allowed. No pets. It wasnt too full when i went. I will return.

A: Great place to bring your kids to learn how to swim. Instructions and staff are very friendly and understanding.My only issue is that this place can get really overcrowded at times and some parents are kind of rude but it's definitely not the business's fault.I've definitely overlooked that issue simply because of how great this swim school has been for my kids and I'd recommend it regardless.
Colleen G: Our 2-year-old and 5-year-old's swimming lessons have been an absolute delight! From the very first splash, it's been incredible to see their confidence grow in the water. The instructors have been patient, encouraging, and adept at creating a fun and safe environment for our little ones to learn. Each lesson is filled with laughter and progress, and we've noticed a remarkable improvement in their water skills. We couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend it to other parents looking to introduce their children to the joys of swimming!

The instructors are so patient with each kid, so articulate with the parents and so organized with scheduling conflicts that inevitably come up as a mom of littles. Devan, Maddie and Emma are so amazing and go above and beyond for everyone but honestly all the managers are great. Goldfish is the highlight of our week!
James Ferber: What a well-run happy place to learn how to swim. I visited my grandson's swimming class today. The windows separating the pool from the observation area was spotless so I could see. The instructors were very professional and it seem all the little tikes were attentively participating because of that. All in all I had great fun watching these future Olympic swimmers learn and have fun doing so.
