West Milwaukee Park: what do users think?

Jane Edgar: I walk in this park every day. Many dog walkers and great tot lots for little kids and bigger kids. Not too big, not too small. Well kept up by the county. Baseball is very popular in the summer. Also tennis courts. Recommended.Restrooms: Restrooms only open limited times.Dog-friendliness: Sometimes dogs aren't on a leash as required.Picnic area: Many picnic tables available.

Tim Zak: It's a nice clean park. Playground, splash pool, and a couple of ball fields. There are tons of shade trees.

Danielle Simmons: Grabbed lunch and sat in the park to eat. Also did leash training with my 3 puppies. It was very nice and quiet

Red Arrow Park: what do users think?

Kathryn O'Donnell: I had the best ice skating date here! Love was in the air and on the ice. Such a cool rink in downtown Milwaukee with a Starbucks attached to warm you up.

Melanie Hinchey: An absolute treasure. I love skating downtown, in the heart of the theater district, for Free!

wendy blunt: Bring your own skates and it’s free! It’s an awesome outdoor rink downtown Milwaukee. They have an indoor space with a restroom and warming up. A small snack area. Plenty of benches and space outside of the rink to walk around and rest.

Сергей Зорин: Cool and relaxing

Andrew Griffin (Drew): The park has had the best events for the kids. This summer there was a skate party once a month absolutely free. This Halloween Red Arrow put on a Boo Bash for the kids and it was a great party! A parade around the block led by a live band. Free pumpkins and free craving. Face painting and story time with a deejay. Red Arrow has won me back. They even paid respect to Dontre Hamilton with a memorial.

Katlyn B: A cozy place to hang out while drinking Starbucks. The park looks cool in general, and seems like it would be really fun to skate in

Holt Park: what do users think?

Scott W: It's a nice green space in an semi urban setting. It's not much more that a series of walking paths. It's maintained so that you aren't walking through tall grass. Not much parking on the neighborhood street.

Jack Allen: It's a pretty wild patch of woods, so watch out for poison ivy, and ticks. But it was peaceful, and nice to walk around.

Jon Valcq: Nice conservation area with a lot of fresh wildlife tracks visible during the winter. No real good entrance or exit from the park and most trails lead to dead ends behind people's houses.

Daniel Schwartz: Very nice park. Haven't been in the park in 20 years, looks really good

Tim Biggin: Has about 5 "trailheads" to get in. Doesn't look like they have been groomed for awhile. Watch out for poison ivy hiding the the grasses if you venture inside.

Adam Wickersham: The beer garden is open!

Tucker: Nice park no real entrance it's all woods

Pablo Ferreira: Awesome

Rich Kruske: Thriving urban park.

James Giggar: Straight place to chill and hangout.

Demetrius Johnson: Nice fields grass is kept really nice

Richard Phillips: Nice Neighborhood Park

Ms. M.R. Jones: Nice park, there was no one else in the park other than one family gathering. People were practicing social distancing and it appeared there were separate family groups. We only wished the bathrooms were open.

Swing Park: what do users think?

Ashley Langford: . It's not great for tiny kids since it is right next to a busy street and can be messy with the sand. There are some fun, unusual swings, including a handicap accessible one! Sometimes there are neighborhood events hosted here. It's also walking distance from the Riverwalk, Brady Street, Water Street, and the southeast end of Riverwest.

Daniele Nelson: Great park to visit. Thank you Milwaukee for building this. A little run down as of late 7/7/23. Milwaukee please refresh this space.

Grace McCulloch: This was fun! We went in the morning after getting some coffee nearby and it was cool to see! There’s not as many swings now, maybe 4 in all, but they do have a baby swing and one you can stand one or lay on so there’s a bit of variety. One thing we enjoyed was walking on the bridge directly behind the swing park! It spans across the Milwaukee river and connects close to Lakefront Brewery!
