Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!
Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.
Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!
Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process.The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.
Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.

Scherlina Ibay: Love this bakery. I heard from my future mother in law that their family tradition for 40yrs plus is to get their cakes made by Simma's. That's why my future sister law got their cakes here. She got married last April 2024 and the other was October 2022. They both have Simma's made their wedding cake. And I tried the Tres leches and it is so good. We also bought two more cakes from simma's recently to celebrate our roommate's bday. He loved his cake from Simmas and this is his first cake from them. I have to bring a Tres leches for my future sister in law next week before they leave to go back to UK since she's been trying to get one and they're always gone when she comes in.

The orange bun was so flavorful and fun. The cashew butter bun was also really tasty and not overly sweet. Samuel Vandenberg: From the moment you push open the door, you are immediately greeted with the most comforting aromas. The shop is clean and beautiful. Saint Linda is so helpful and bright, and she took the time to guide me through all of the selections of the day. I ended up choosing one of the scones, a pineapple cashew, which tasted just wonderful, but it didn't seem like I could have gone wrong no matter what I were to choose! I returned today for a loaf of bread, choosing their answer to cinnamon raisin - a currant walnut bread - the flavor of which beseeches me to leave this review singing its praises. SO INCREDIBLE. To be able to enjoy a slice of bread like this free from so many inflammatory ingredients, what a delight. The ratios in their recipe are just right. The flavors keep yielding as you chew. This is no ordinary bread. I'm just looking forward to eating more of it! You can taste that these items are baked with love. Cheers to everyone at Blooming Lotus, I can't recommend them enough.

Molly Hoff: We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. Sophie Kubly: My husband and I used Greige as the baker of our wedding cake, and they did an amazing job! We just needed a small cutting cake to share with our bridal party, but had a pretty specific vision for what it should look like. Working with Miranda was so easy and she was open to our ideas, but also steered us in a direction to make sure the cake would turn out how we wanted it to. The deconstructed cake tasting was also so helpful for us to be able to try all kinds of combinations, and what we landed on was so delicious.

Miranda was so helpful and kind from the start, so it was an easy pick for me, especially after the cake testing. They have unique and special flavors and were extremely helpful with their suggestions, which really added to our wedding. They also were easily able to accommodate when I added on an additional 6" round on the side after the RSVPs had come in.Miranda and her team did a fantastic job bringing our cake concept to life. The top tier was Earl Gray cake, with citrus curd filing and Elderflower buttercream. The base was Chocolate, with raspberry preserves filing and Elderflower buttercream. The cake was decadent, a true celebration of taste, creativity, and it looked absolutely stunning with the florals left by our florist. Everyone loved it! In addition to the cake, our guests loved the mini desserts and macarons. We barely had any leftovers.Look no further. Greige Pâtisserie is without a doubt the best in French bakery in the metro Milwaukee area. Miranda and her team create masterpieces that are nothing short of jaw dropping and stunning.We love this place so much; I make the drive in from Pewaukee frequently just to pick up treats. I truly cannot recommend Greige enough!

The customer service was great all throughout the planning process, the desserts were delivered exactly on time and as discussed, and the staff then came back at the end of the night to retrieve the rented display pieces. Our guests loved having an arrangement of different flavors and everyone was happy to take extras home at the end of the evening. I would recommend Classy Girl Cupcakes for any gathering!
Caileigh: I ordered 260 Halloween themed cupcakes for a corporate party and even had them delivered to our building and everything was perfect. The cupcakes themselves were amazing. The frosting wasn’t too sweet and the actual cake part was so tasty. I will definitely be ordering from Classy Girl again. Their decorating skills are perfect!

Our wedding had to be postponed last year due to a positive covid case on the day of the rehearsal and Erica was incredibly accommodating and kind in her response to our unfortunate situation. They offer delivery, set up and take down- all of which were definitely worth it. The guests loved the cupcakes! Classy Girl offers many delicious flavors and they can customize the icing decorations. The cupcakes were displayed beautifully. We had take-home containers available and many guests were thankful for the opportunity to bring cupcakes home. Larry Alan: Be sure to check your order for accuracy before leaving the store. They disappointed me twice this Christmas. I am a regular customer for rye rolls every Easter and Christmas but was told they were not making them. So I ordered cranberry walnut and received PLAIN rolls instead. And I mean this when you find yourself the core curriculums you find yourself to work, you will find the workplace safety becomes pinned between a ladder of a few to honors received by none lest it becomes a receptionist to a catering service. – If you’re looking to be a plumber, here’s where to start, because if I was arguing carpentry over metallurgy in such a calm weathered hallway, you’d be screaming acts of God till the trickle point landed on your face with your belly bestowing all the previous laughter you thought you could manage by yourself. You see, I’d be sitting with the Dean, the Staff of Administration, and an S1185 form wondering whether or not to let a blind man walk out with his cane before I found out who ruined my Mother’s marriage and career progression to her children without blood on my knuckles following WI ST. 118.35, and an Honorable Admission of Servitude seeing as my own efforts will linger the halls into a transferable credit of Guiness World Record Readership to a statement that will leave you to question what the Commissioner is going to say about it. – After all, when school is close by, I’m just looking to form my retirement.Want to challenge that signature? Or leave it in chalk? Lifeless?There’s a little more to me than you knew, and a whole much more I circled around when deciding a chance would be glory.-
Abster Asgard: the field you want to be in. This is one of the best places to go.They have an active news station here that lends out thier studio to MATC and if you take that degree you end will work with people who are actively in the feild. They get you hands on with equipment within the 1st 2 weeks consistently and are very accommodating for accessibility. Half these reviews are reviewing the school as a whole... and you should not go here for a school name you should go here for hands on experience. I will say the school body is unhelpful and if you really want help go through you teachers and program heads.
T3LLA: Great school if you’re ready to buckle down and focus! Universities can have a lot going on and be really distracting, but this school has a balance. There’s definitely fun activities every now and then but when it comes to the academics, they will not leave you hanging either. The classroom sizes are reasonable, giving you the chance to have all of your questions heard and answered.
Alexander Salas: My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. They also work with businesses to help their student get jobs after graduating. I would recommend this program to someone looking to get into IT Support as a career.
Britanni Hildenbrand: I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Future students should also know that credits will transfer to a four year college such as MSOE or UWM.

There are no gluten free food offerings, but I did have a chai tea latte that was really good and well spiced.I can see that during the summer this place would be packed. There is a giant area next to it for seating and even to work on a bike.

I don't know how they do it but the donuts are super fluffy moist and taste excellent not too sweet not to stiff it's just perfect. I'm going to easily drive an hour to get donuts to this place. I really can't wait to come back and try more. Maybe try some cake or something that I never had before.

Honesty top three muscles I've ever eaten and I've had them in Michelin star restaurants in France.The French toast was great and not drowned in high fructose corn syrup, thank the heavens. It was instead served with a generous drizzle of their in house made raspberry spread. Met a friend there for lunch and had their special of the day - a pecan crusted walleye that was melt in your mouth delicious with mashed potatoes and green beans. Big lunch, I know, but then I was full for the rest of the day! A perfect little vanilla macaron followed… also a slice of heaven - just chewy enough and very fresh. I highly recommend this little gem of a place and am looking forward to making a return trip. The service was impeccable.
