Steinway Piano Gallery of Milwaukee: what do users think?

S P: Beautiful showroom.

Nick Cray: Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. Very accommodating too!

K F: .We found the showroom at Steinway Piano Gallery of Milwaukee a pleasant space to assess an instrument. The showroom is lovely, elegant and unpretentious. It's spacious and well-lit with natural sunlight. The instruments, with gorgeous Steinway pianos front and center, are artfully displayed and arranged in an accessible manner.Barbara was attentive to our needs during our time at the showroom and answered all of our questions. When we told her we would like to purchase the keyboard, she facilitated the sale efficiently.Though our entire time at Steinway Piano Gallery of Milwaukee was about 40 minutes long, we accomplished more in that 40 minutes with Barbara than we have at many other music stores. She was respectful of our time and neither rushed us nor delayed us. Once our transaction was complete, she assisted us in loading the instrument into our vehicle. The thoughtful functionality of the showroom along with Barbara's knowledgeable, personable, and efficient assistance, allowed us to make a purchase in which we are exceptionally pleased.

bryan: Beautiful pianos. Very helpful. And they have hard to find Roland FP 30x in stock!!!

Richard-Nell Mace: Helpful

James Beatse: Great service! Amazing pianos!

Noelle Andrews: Twice monthly they have concerts here. I have been to 2 of them and enjoyed them immensely! Free with a $5 requested donation. They are at noon and last an hour. Give it a try if you love music!

Sandy B: Be sure to check out the Wed NOON concerts. And adult piano nights for students.

Robb Quinn: Real super nice, knowledgeable people.

Noah M: Every employee happily walks you through the store and explains the difference between the pianos, why they sound that way, etc. Extremely informative and I love coming here. They also have a fantastic selection of books of pieces but many composers.

Bryan L (SHIVANMaster): This is where I go to meet my piano instructor for lessons. It's a very well lit and well-kept store. It's very nice and clean and if you're looking to learn about pianos or music than this is definitely the place to go.

Vicente Garcialeon: Nice place

Hulbert Piano: what do users think?

Sarah Reed-Thryselius: Dave was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in narrowing down a digital piano. I appreciated his honesty and feedback during the buying process. Delivery was fast and low-cost. Definitely recommend.

Scott Lewis: Wonderful service! Everyone was kind and welcoming and were able to get us a great piano.

Marilyn: I could not have been happier with my experience purchasing a piano from Hulbert Piano. From start to finish, Dave Hulbert provided excellent customer service. I was able to try out many pianos and Dave provided me with very helpful information every step of the way.I was so pleased with my decision to buy a grand piano that I had my sisters accompany me on the day that I finalized my purchase. We were all so enthralled by the event that we literally broke out in song as my older sister played one of our favorite family pieces on the piano. We would not have felt this comfortable had Dave not been so personable in all his interactions with us. It made for an unforgettable memory. If you are interested in purchasing a piano, I would highly recommend that you do so at Hulbert Piano.

Alan Marshall: , Dave sent me pictures of the piano when it was unboxed. The delivery of the piano to our home went very well.Dave has also done an excellent job tuning the piano when required.I have found Dave to be a very knowledgeable and experienced technician and very attentive.

Molly Roseman: by Dave Hulbert and he did a fantastic job! Dave is very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the piano and he did a meticulous and thorough job on my instrument. He is also efficient and personable to work with. Overall, I highly recommend Hulbert Piano!

Brenda B: Super impressed with Dave and his piano tuning/repair skills and gifts. This is the 2nd time he's tuned our piano and I continue to be impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. I am highly satisfied with the results of his services. I so appreciate the time he took in explaining what he did, options for correcting an aesthetic issue, taking his time, and explaining steps in moving forward for future care. Our piano sounds a gazillion times better, thank you so much!

Michelle M: to test out the ones on display in the beautiful showroom. He was never pushy and helped me choose a less-expensive option than the one I had initially thought I wanted, and gave genuine advice based on planned use and space. I ended up with one of the baby grands and chose a rich mahogany color. It took several months to be built and shipped from overseas, but well worth the wait!We ended up moving out of state shortly after the piano had been expertly delivered, so we used Dave’s team of professional and amiable piano movers to help with this process. After such an investment

erynlasgalen1949: Thanks to Dave Hulbert and family, we own the piano of our dreams. On one of our visits, Dave's son even shoveled a path from our car in the parking lot to the front door in the middle of a snowstorm. I call that service. Shopping there is a very warm, low pressure experience as we weighed our options between new, rebuilt, and slightly used. I cannot recommend Hulbert Piano highly enough with only five stars.

Kay Eibl: Dave is very professional and provided me with a lot of information during our recent piano tuning. Very fair and generous pricing. Thank you, Hulbert Piano!

Keith Stachowiak: Dave Hulbert tuned our piano recently. He was wonderfully informative and professional, and was just a joy to speak with. Our piano sounds great - we would highly recommend him.

Steven and Rebekah: Dave Hulbert, of Hulbert Piano, came within a short timeline to tune our 1953 Baldwin Arcosonic, for our daughter's birthday. Dave was very professional, and flexible with the arrangement. Dave improved the pitch and tuned the piano quickly. Later that night, our daughter returned home from school, and noticed that the piano had "come to life" while playing, without being told that it had been "tuned." Initially, we found Dave's information on the NextDoor App, where our neighbors from around the area had left a lot of positive reviews. The cost of the tune was appropriately fair for the service and quality we received.

Jerry Hoeppner: Had our Yamaha Calvinova cleaned as it was in a smoke filled area with dogs and cats for years. They took it completely apart and used a O-Zone system to clean it. No smells anymore and the piano works perfectly!Great Job!Highly recommended!

Barbara Nevers: I've known Dave Hulbert since he was in high school--and once I learned that he was tuning pianos, I eagerly took advantage of the opportunity to engage him to work on my beloved Steinway. He's highly professional, taking his work very seriously and having a great deal of knowledge of the instrument. Dave is, additionally, highly personable and has a great sense of humor. He also removes his shoes as soon as he's inside your front door!

Be Sound Music Studio: what do users think?

Margaret Doyle: Don't hesitate to take guitar/uke lessons from Paul. He's great and taught me a lot in a short time.

Camila Szarek: Great place to learn music. Teachers teach very well and make sure the students understand.

KÁLIAH: Positive:ProfessionalismI have been taking guitar lessons from Lena Vinz for about 9 years now and I absolutely love learning with her!! My knowledge and skills as a musician have grown tremendously through her teachings, would most definitely recommend!!!

Kliff McBurtney: Positive:ProfessionalismConservatory Quality without conservatory prices! Be Sound is the Best!

Erik Kakulis: Spectacular instruction from some of the best music teachers in Milwaukee. Highly recommended!

Underwood Baptist Church: Be Sound's faculty are quality educators and top notch musicians. The studio is both serene and passion filled.Paul Terrien is a gem. He has been the Praise Band director here at Underwood for 14 years and we couldn't be happier, not only with his musicianship but also his professionalism and inclusiveness, leading members to highlight their skills.

C Johnson: Paul is a fantastic guitar instructor! My son was 7 when he started lessons, and Paul makes the classes fun for the kids and is very patient as the kids not only learn the music but are doing so as they are still learning to read. Highly recommend!

Jeremy Copperman: , who had bounced around between different music teachers and instruments for the past 6 years, immediately settled in and blossomed with Julie. Within 1 month his bad habits were on the mend

Natalie K Ricciardi: I have been taking vocal lessons with Julie since December 2016 and it is hard to tell just how different my voice feels.. in the best way! No more sore hoarse throat after singing a set! Going to the studio every week to sing and work on songs is something I look forward to and is a much needed catharsis. I feel welcome, accepted, and challenged by my lessons. If you have goals for your voice Julie is the person to go to- she is discerning, experienced in her craft, and the rates for classes are affordable.

Mistress Malora: I can finally sing!! Be Sound Music has the most amazing music teacher I've ever had-everything is easy to understand and I'm always motivated to practice and return. Every time I go to lessons I leave with something new and exciting to practice. I would have never been able to do this alone-there are so many things that you don't even know you don't know! Julie taught me it all. I LOVE BE SOUND!

melissa joy bollow tempel: My daughters were taking music and voice lessons with a local musician just for fun, when he moved out of town and he recommended Julie. We could not be happier! Since beginning with Julie my teenaged daughters have become more confident and comfortable performing for an audience and they sound SO much better. Makes me think that maybe I could become a decent singer if I took from singing lessons from Julie! Hah, just kidding!!!One thing I love about Julie is that she records my daughters singing and sends me the recordings via email. I love having “souvenirs” of their progress.Julie is very talented and she has so much experience performing for years in and around Milwaukee, teaching private lessons, and teaching higher education. Her rates are reasonable and her hours are flexible. Her studio location is convenient and close to a lot of stores and restaurants and the East Library, so parents, you can get your errands done or have some nice “me time” while your kids are having their lessons. The practice space is a beautiful and spacious, you can also sit and watch or read a book while you wait.Julie is also welcoming to everyone, from any background or beliefs, gender or sexuality. At her recitals we see her students are all unique and she is able to cater to their musical interests and styles. I really appreciate that about her and I think you will too.

Wisconsin Conservatory of Music: what do users think?

Scott Nehring: So far so good. Excellent instructor.

Jimi Sellars: I used to get Tortured in there regularly. lolI study there off and on for Guitar, song writing, music composition. Always good teachers! Great old historic building as well.

Brent Miller: Way to go Annie B.This is my “first ever” Google review and it is written for Annie B and the Milwaukee Music Academy.I’m in my late 50s and in search of a local guitar instructor; I played as a teenager before life got in the way. I returned recently and managed to knock off the cobwebs by myself and improved beyond my previous level. However, I eventually understood I needed an outside musical influence to grow beyond my own frame of reference. My initial search for a teacher, a web-based service, matched me with Annie B. After our first conversation, I concluded that she was a bit too far away to make that weekly trip; would have spent twice as much time commuting than in actual instruction. Due to the distance, she could not help me directly, but she used her social media presence to find someone local for me to investigate. Within 12 hours she relayed back, 4 people she trusted in my area.I’ve since linked up with one of those people and I will take my first lesson today. In a way, I kind of wish she were closer because she was very helpful and personable. I think we would have worked well together. Thanks again Annie and remember, this is my “first ever” google review, posted for you!

John Graham: Excellent instructor and beautiful building.

김미정: Really professional and kind, loving instructors they have. The lecture has made big differences. I definitely recommend WCM!

Laura Brusky: My daughter is taking drumming classes with Ms Shiner and he is a awesome teacher! She has special needs and she has limited understanding of music and cannot read or write but he can find a easy way for her to learn different rhythms and memorize them and also have fun!

Wujie Zhang: every time.

Liddie Collins: I am really having an enjoyable journey learning the violin. My instructor J. Steinbart keeps it interesting and fun. There is a lot to learn and my structor is breaking it down and making it learnable. !!!

Brian Peterson: Beautiful building and wonderful staff!

Matt Starr: to adults. There are classes for many different instruments. If you sign up for personal lessons, they run sessions each season which also includes some type of performance you will be able to perform at. During the time of COVID-19, they have shifted to the option to do remote lessons over Zoom. They have scholarships to provide opportunities to those who would not otherwise have the ability to pay.

Eli Kelling: Amazing people!

debra hardiman: Studied jazz theory and jazz piano with the great Tony King and Martha Artis. The music lives on!#foreverlearning
