Cary S: Very friendly and helpful volunteers. It's obvious they really care about the cats at the shelter.

Terry Laffin: We had a great experience adopting our new cat Trudy. The staff was great and very informative and made the whole process easy. We would highly recommend going here if you're looking to add a friend to your family.

Kori Schneider Peragine: Completely volunteer led "no kill" cat shelter! This place is an asset to our community and the kitties it shelters.

Becky Guzman: Doing great things to keep kitties alive.

Rachel McMahon: They helped bring me and my best friend together. I’m grateful for all the wonderful volunteers here.

Nicole Hirsch: Wonderful shelter

Michael Bueckers: The beautiful Loving people at Happy Endings must have been sent by God to protect these little Angels. I personally got a little kitty who gave my family 17 years of happiness. We went back to rescue a few more Angels.

Sharlene Dittmann: Amazing place with such kind and caring volunteers. You can tell that they really care about the Rescue kitties 😸 ❤️ 💕 that come there and that they are truly well taken care of.

Amber: The most wonderful place! Absolutely love it here.

Suzanne Zidek: This shelter is a wonderful place to either take a cat you are no longer able to take care of or to find a new addition to your family. The volunteers are absolutely wonderful. They genuinely care about the cats at their shelter and are empathetic to the struggles and emotions experienced when having to separate from a cat that has been in one’s family for a long time. Additionally our cat was adopted within two weeks. I would highly recommend!!!

Pokey Ball: Great place

Second Hand Purrs: what do users think?

Cory Corrigan: Love SHP loving and dedicated all volunteer staff. Clean facility, compassionate and friendly fosters and staff

Ace F: This shelter is incredible. All of the volunteers are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and personal. Compared to other shelters I've been to its a lot quieter, which results in happier more comfortable cats. They have both cuddly kittens and sweet adult cats who are looking for their forever homes. It's hard to make a choice when you just want to take all of them home!

Charlie Kusk: Cat I got from here is most affectionate one I have ever had! The volunteers are very kind and helpful throughout the process and it's very obvious all the cats are extremely well cared for

Matt Lendabarker: Beautiful people. Sweet kitties!

Jim: . We love everything they do for our furry friends, and we gladly help support them in return when we can.

Donna A: We went there to donate food at the recommendation of a friend. The employees were nice and let us look around. The cats appeared well cared for and the place was clean. There were several young volunteers helping out and being educated. I was impressed during my short visit there. It's easy to criticize when you don't understand how humane societies and rescues work, and the difficulties, limitations and heartbreak they face on a daily basis. My friend and I worked for many years at a humane society and I used to grit my teeth when people would say they could never work there "because I love animals too much." Huh? Good job, Second Hand Purrs, and keep it up.

Craig Lind: I got a 4 month old kitty 4 years ago and he was healthy, still is. Service was great. Nice area for them until they are adopted.

Linda P: Best cat rescue. Very caring staff. You can tell the cats are well cared for. I highly recommend adopting a cat or two from there.

Tyler Johnson: Great place to adopt your next cat or kitten. We were recommended to go here by a family member and I'm so happy we did!!! They thoroughly vet all applicants to make sure that every cat goes to a great home.

Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission: what do users think?

Laura B: & Karen & all the staff I've worked with have been phenomenal! I can tell they have huge hearts & have to make sad decisions & are in unsafe environments. Thank you for answering ALL my questions about the stray I found, doing ALL you can to help me navigate & your time & patience with all you face on the daily.I appreciate you!I am grateful you care & do things I can't, but together, we try our best to make these animals have a life they deserve. Thank you so much.

Derrick C: I explained to the company that 2 German Shepherds were loose and unchained and they responded immediately

Jennifer Harrison: I was able to adopt my new baby Atticus. The process took a bit to start. I wasn't aware that not all the dogs on the website can go home that day. However, they have so many beautiful babies to pick from.

Carina Krantz: I went here for their shot clinic they were well prepared and super kind!!!

Kelly Marchese: The staff there are great. You can feel their love for animals. We took our kitten, Binx for his rabies shot and license. We weren't rushed in/out. We asked questions about our kitten. The answers has helped us greatly with him. Thank you, Team!

Jackie Rouleau: Adopted a wonderful husky from here. They are doing great things to help the animals in our community.

brandon brookbank (Borgbug): I love MADACC! I have gotten all of my cats through them over the years and they are such wonderful people. Summer is very busy and stressful for them, so I always make sure to be extra patient with them. Definitely recommend a rescue adoption and definitely recommend getting one from these guys!!!
