THE most intimate & peaceful birth experience I could have ever imagined. We are so fortunate to have a place like Authentic here in Wisconsin. LaNette & the team she has built took great care of me & my husband for our first child (#646) We hope to be back for our 2nd child!!
We had our baby girl at Authentic Birthing Center 5 months ago now. We’ve been meaning to write this review since the very beginning. This is absolutely our favorite place to go! We left feeling strangely very sad that our time there was over but also so joyful because we had the most precious newborn to love. Authentic really made our experience the most beautiful delivery we could’ve ever wanted or imagined. We left feeling like they were very much an extension of our family! We will be back for the next one!
My wife is pregnant with twins. I contacted Authentic to see if they could deliver twins, but state law does not allow for it. However, they suggested a doctor who believes strongly in natural birth instead of caesarian for twins, my wife met with him today, and she has now decided to work with him going forward. So grateful for Authentic's guidance!
The words thank you don't quite seem adequate for how I feel. The prenatal and birth experience I was able to have under your care was phenomenal! I had a traumatic hospital experience with my 1st baby due to the doctor pushing his agenda on me and doing interventions I didn't want or need. I knew that this pregnancy and birth needed to go differently. That's when I found you and I'm so grateful I did!
From day one I knew baby and I were in good hands. I never felt rushed or pressured into any decisions. I always felt heard and had all of my questions (no matter how menial) answered. Time and time again you reassured me that I could do this the way I wanted and that made all the difference in my healing from my previous experience.
Even though there were some bumps along the road (the early subchorionic hematoma and then baby's position near the end of the pregnancy), I always felt safe and secure under your care. The actual labor and delivery went so fast compared to what I had expected and prepared for. While I felt a little panicked about how fast it was going, your calm demeanor and presence helped ground me.

Paige Edmonds: Authentic Birth Center and my birthing team far exceeded our expectations! We learned so much at each prenatal appointment and felt so prepared going into a natural labor. Dr. Kelsey provided so much wisdom, guidance and support for us; and had such a calming demeanor that made us feel welcome, safe and eased any anxieties and worries. The birthing center was comfy, cozy and made us feel like we were right at home. We would highly recommend for anyone interested!

Allie Z: I recently delivered our 2nd at Authentic, and still am over the moon about my experience from beginning to end.Each and every one of the midwives and students are incredibly caring, kind, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. As a patient, I was made to feel heard, validated, and respected. I was so confident and happy with the care I received, and was able to experience a more stress-free pregnancy this time around.The midwives who cared for me during labor and delivery were angels! They knew exactly what to say when they noticed I needed reassurance and encouragement. They created a calm and safe environment for me to give birth in. And most importantly, they restored my faith in my body's ability to birth my baby just as it's designed to do. The experience is something I will never forget, and will always be a cherished memory.I highly recommend this facility and it's staff, and am already looking forward to the privilege of having another beautiful birth here!

I had my two babies at authentic and I couldn’t unpack my bag for weeks after the second knowing it was my last baby and last stay at the birth center. Jessie provided so much warmth and compassion during my pregnancy and birth while also being very smart, competent, and trustworthy.
Marcedez Hogans: My birthing experience at Authentic was nothing short of amazing. This was my first out of hospital birth and it was everything I expected. Even though, my labor was what they called “precipitous”. I enjoyed the little time I did have. Chelsey and Fiona were great and definitely made these run so smoothly. One of my best birthing experiences. I would definitely recommend this birthing center.
S miles: Fiona, Chelsea, and the Authentic team went above and beyond for my wife and I during the birth of our second child. We can’t say enough good things about our experience birthing here. After birthing our first in a hospital we‘ve seen both sides, and the grass truly is greener at Authentic!
Britne: Although I wasn't able to complete my birth at Authentic, the midwives I worked with tried their best in attempt to make it happen. When it was time to transfer to a hospital, one of the midwives also drove alongside us to make sure our transition was as smooth as it could be. I don't regret my time with Authentic and I'm grateful I was able to experience most of my labor and delivery natural prior to the c-section I ultimately had.
Aariela: Chelsea, Valerie, and Fiona went above and beyond during my labor and delivery. It was not an easy labor, and these women conjured compassion, strength, wisdom and grace to get me through one of the hardest experiences I’ve had. These women exceeded a typical care standard and I cannot express enough gratitude for having them and Authentic Birth Center as an alternative to a corporate hospital setting. Thank you to my midwife Jessie and all the other amazing staff for getting me through a stress free pregnancy where my wishes as a mother were respected and my care team was 10 stars.

Sara Elizabeth: Overall a great experience. Unfortunately I unexpectedly had to transfer care to hospital but midwives made it a smooth and professional transfer. I did feel let down by post partum experience, but again overall I would recommend this birth center.

Dalibor Plecas: I went in at 6:15am for an MRI. Fast and efficient check in, and after a quick form I had to fill out I was greeted by Kari from the radiology dept. Kari and her partner Lisa were quick, efficient and very accomodating. They were very positive and knowledgeable and made my experience very comfortable. PS I was very nervous about MRIs but they made it look so easy. Thank you!
Sav Nico: I have been hospitalized twice at this hospital. I have nothing but admiration for everybody working there. They are team dedicated professionals and thank you for all your help to get me healty .
