He also carried the medicines needed and gave instructions on their use.He now carries fancy snakes! Wow! I never knew about these.Bottom line...Gary is super knowledgeable and helpful!!!

Amanda DeHahn: My 13 year old son has become a tarantula hobbiest, and it has been very hard to find different species of tarantulas in our area. This place has a lot to choose from, and all of his animals seemed well taken care of! We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for reptiles or tarantulas!!! Go check it out for yourself!

Alyssa Gorecki: Definitely my favorite pet store in the city. Matt takes excellent care of all of the animals in the shop. Enclosures are clean, and animals always appear healthy and well. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the animals that he keeps, and is always willing to answer questions and discuss care needs. A great spot for aquarium hardscape and botanicals for a reasonable cost, and to visit a thoughtful and unique array of critters in a beautifully curated space.

The man that helped me was very nice and helped me figure out what would be best for what I have and recommended things he doesn’t carry and where to find them. My snake is very happy ab her new clutter, drift woods, and moss. There are also tons of cool reptiles including a recused crocodile, eel, axolotyls’, etc. def worth at least a visit, just to look!

Not a huge commercial selection but plenty of things to choose from especially if your looking to do a soil, sand and live plant style aquarium. There's a lot of selection in the way of drift wood, live plants, snails, shrimp and other live fish. Only complaint would be to get better lighting inside the store. Otherwise it's worth going in and supporting small business owners like this outfit right here!!

Tina G: I can’t say enough about Travis. I noticed one afternoon my reef tank was leaking. We purchased the tank from Travis so I immediately called the store in a panic. Explain the situation to Travis and to my surprise he told me to come to the store and borrow a tank to transfer my tank into until I could figure out what I was going to do. Within an hour I was walking out of the store with a tank. I can’t say enough. Travis didn’t have to be so helpful. But he was. He is also helping me with the warranty process to get our tank replaced. I appreciate the help. Definitely saved my reef tank and fish.

All fish make it home alive and survived and added 3 hours for a total drive of 13 hours due to severe storms that’s to the advice and directions of the store owner. He loves trying all of their flavors and hasn't met a treat from Ike's that he hasn't loved. Their mission is outstanding and I love the opportunity to support as often as I can. As soon as I walked-in, I was greeted by Ashley with a smile who was more than willing to help. She was SUPER knowledgeable of which fish would work in the size of my tank, what I would need to clean it, and even which fish would get along! I was surprised she wasn't the manager... I was super impressed. Definitely will be back!

Freshwater and tropical, plus more plants, to the left and back.

If she reads this maybe she will remember telling "Zachery, go put the snake back where you got it". It made him feel special that his name was announced and calmed down my frantic situation. If every store had employees like this, perhaps we wouldn't order online so much.
L: Friendly staff and lots of pet treats and accessories. Asked if they could price match a brush I found on Amazon and they did, was very happy with that. They provide all your pet supply needs, and prices are great compared to other pet stores in the area. Thank you, will continue to shop here.

Always great service and prices to match! 1/8/23...back for more, snagged some awesome mushrooms frags for $20 each. And, my husband and I were just discussing, we've been in and out of the hobby over the years but we've been buying saltwater from them since 1997...25 years!!!

Leah Gayle: As an engaged couple , raising their first puppy. This is the place to be! Nothing is more rewarding or crazy than raising a puppy and the staff at the pet Depot are incredible and knowledgeable and made the process very doable. Such a vast array of quality goods and treats for all pets. When our puppy is a little older, we can't wait to take him back, specifically to check out the bakery products that are puppy friendly.
CJ Widmar: Nice little shop with an excellent variety of food, treats, toys and misc supplies for dogs. Unfortunately, I was there to pick up stuff for my cat and the selection is not as robust. I was disappointed because I was hoping to grab a sampling of wet food from different high quality brands to find one my cat will eat. They do carry a small selection of great quality brands but I was looking for more variety. That's OK. When my dog needs something I will definitely be back!

Mehgan: I always ignored this place because I foolishly assumed it was expensive. But I became desperate for a high quality puppy food. After scouring the internet this place popped up. I read the reviews and customers were saying it wasn't crazy expensive. I decided to give it a try. Zero regrets. I received top knotch customer service. Ana helped me pick out a food that works well for my puppy. Bark n scratch is by no means cheap. But I believe they do well pricewise while delivering a good product.

Savannah Wan: Honestly, this is probably the best fish store ive ever been to. All the tanks, even the small ones are well maintained and the fish all look healthy. They also always have exactly what im looking for, for a fair price! I was surprised because smaller businesses usually have higher markups than chains. I dont think ill shop anywhere else in milwaukee for my aquatics supplies even tho i get a discount at work.Im surprised to see people complaining about the mark ups. Petco and petsmart are more than double the price for some things … like the sponge filter i got was $7.99 with a 10.99 air pump, but one at petsmart of the same size was 10.99, and the pump was $18.Also, idk why people are saying the staff is rude. I came for the first time around close and i was politely given plants like 10 minutes before they closed, which usually irritates most people.They also have a very diverse selection of plants and rocks! Pretty much anything youd need and more.
Tm S: This is the most beautiful store I've ever seen immediately when you walk in the front door there is a giant koi pond and live plants growing all over the place a trailer of the walls in the leaves get bigger it's absolutely gorgeous! Then you go inside and find so many different fish varieties, shrimp, tiny little crabs, all different kind of water stabilizers, different aquariums, substrates, food, everything you can imagine. Sales person at the front was very knowledgeable about African dwarf frogs and gave me a lot of helpful advice. I would recommend this to anybody looking to start an aquarium or to enhance the aquarium that they have!!
