José Francisco Bravo: I found out about Onesto while I was living in Milwaukee for a year. From the very first night it has always been an amazing experience. The servers are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely amazing. You can definitely taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients, the kitchen staff must definitely be passionate about what they create. We recently went for an anniversary dinner, and it was just as amazing as always. Highly recommend if you’re in Milwaukee!

They both were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were delicious! Our appetizer and our 3 course dinner were to die for! We will definitely be back for another indulgent evening!Parking: We had no issue finding free street parking almost immediately on a Friday night around 7:30pm.
Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

The atmosphere was wood and iron with low lighting and while we were a group, this would be truly wonderful as a romantic night out for couples.

After a tasting at a more well-known obvious choice for a wedding cake bakery we were blown away by how good deb's cake/frosting/fruit/ganache tasted in comparison. Hands down a good choice. She was easy to reach as the wedding drew closer, sat down with us a second time to make sure everything was all set, and delivered the cake herself day-of, wishing us well right before we walked down the aisle! Our guests really enjoyed the cake, as did we. Looking forward to eating leftovers when we're back from vacation!

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Amy: I was expecting smaller portions when I heard their brunch described as a tapas situation-- but really, everything was very well portioned. The hot chocolate isn't super sweet, so if that's something that will break your heart do not order it.All dishes were superb, perfectly seasoned and apportioned. Patatas bravas perfectly seasoned, the chorizo add-on is a MUST. Shakshuka could have more bread served with it-- there's not enough to really use it to eat the amount of tomato/pepper mixture that you get. The hostess/serving staff didn't seem to be fully attentive, but they weren't impolite and the dish that wasn't brought out didn't appear on the bill so it seemed she just missed the order altogether.

After the issues below, the owner contacted me to apologize and offered to refund me the cost of the piano inspection. I declined, but I admit that the owner did take the steps to correct the issue. If you see further issues from this business be wary, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.Previous 1 star review: They were selling a piano and had advertised it as "cabinet in very good condition a few minor chips, pin block no cracks, type [sic] tuning pins."They did not disclose it had a drink spilled in it, resulting in rusty strings, and that the sound board had 5 visible cracks. They are attempting to scam someone out of thousands of dollars.

Justine Jade: his was such a beautiful and perfect venue for our wedding day! Ray and Annie were great with their organization and communication to help make our day perfect! They are both so kind and answered all of our questions quickly, no matter how big or small of a question. We were even able to schedule a couple venue walk throughs. The venue is absolutely beautiful! It accommodated our guest count perfectly. It was a colder spring day, but the rooftop area had heaters on so guests could still be outside.

The groomsmen used the lower level to get ready. We held the ceremony on the main floor. We used the rooftop for a cocktail hour and then returned to the main floor for dinner and dancing, while still having the rooftop available for drinks, conversation and cigars. We also did a sparkler send off on the rooftop. Thank you to Josh, Ray and especially Lori for making this a wonderful event!
susan palos: We were here for a wedding the food was amazing and the whole staff was friendly and helpful. It also has a beautiful garden and roof terrace. It was a memorable and enjoyable day.
Lynn: So much more spacious than it looks from first appearance. I do think they need a larger sign in front of their venue, however. As a seasoned sign salesperson, I can tell you that that is very difficult to read. Anyway. I don't want to give away too many secrets, but the building is three floors all together. Main floor is where the ceremonies are held, and then you go up to the atrium which is open air, for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. There are different seating areas, some at the front of the building that faces Capitol Dr., and some at the back. The grounds were very pretty in the back part of the atrium, which was also a little more roomy than the front of the atrium. Then the first floor undergoes a makeover and becomes a lovely venue for a wedding reception, with a bar and plenty of space to dance. The food was catered; it was quite good. Staff, whether Caterers or from The Atrium, were all very polite and professional and attentive. There's parking on Capitol, behind the place, some street parking, and then you have to get creative. Even though it was 92 degrees outside, the first floor where most of our time was spent remained very comfortable. I liked being in the area, and there's just more to this place than meets the eye than when you first see it.

Mallory O'Halloran: I cannot express enough as to how wonderful our wedding was at the Performing Arts Center! Lynn and the PAC team are timely, efficient, and patient. Being a COVID-19 couple, we had to switch our day from April to October. They changed everything around in less than 24 hours without any issues. The food is absolutely fabulous. If you can swing it, get a signature drink! Our guests were thrilled with the space. Also, working with Lynn was such a joy. She is kind and an expert at her job. Thank you to Lynn & the PAC team for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!!
Carolyn Duff: While it wasn’t the easiest process getting there, we had an absolutely wonderful wedding at the Marcus Center! The venue itself is so lovely. We fell in love with ivy covered Fitch Gardens, the balcony overlooking the river, and the ceiling lights that added fun character to the classic ballroom space for our reception. We weren't able to use Fitch Gardens for our ceremony due to the weather, but the weather backup space is beautiful as well and we were really happy with it. Our guests RAVED about the food - one said we served the best steak he's ever had in his life!For the most part all of the staff was great and very helpful. We planned our wedding during COVID19 and I believe that took a toll on the communication and organization during the planning process. Early on, Lynn and Karin assured me that I didn’t need to hire a wedding planner because they would handle everything and it wouldn’t be necessary, but I think I would have felt a lot more comfortable with a planner to help. I worked with Lynn and while she worked really hard to make my wedding perfect, I never felt completely secure that things were on track or that we were on the same page. Wedding planning is stressful and I would have appreciated some more guidance throughout the process instead of having to initiate check ins and next steps myself. While I’m sure that COVID19 provided some challenges on her end too, I often heard her admit to being unsure of something because she hadn’t had a wedding in a while, or just being overwhelmed in general. At one point two of our groomsmen were frantically handling a responsibility at the wedding that Lynn assured me she would take care of.Overall it was an amazing wedding and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’d highly recommend the Marcus Center and Sazamas catering but be prepared to take charge and over communicate as you’re planning!

Lynn and the team at Sazama’s reached out immediately and were more than willing to help us come up with alternative options. Our guest were amazed by the room, the overall presentation was gorgeous. The food was unbelievable and definitely earned us many compliments from our guests. It was clear that they had years of experience and dedicated staff. We did not have a wedding planner and we had a 230+ person wedding. Lynn with Sazama's made sure every detail was thought of and attended to. She was kind and flexible and had a calming way about her. Planning a wedding can be stressful, so to work with people who are calm and know what they are doing is a huge help. She did so many extra steps for us, like coordinating place covers and setting up our decorations. Their pricing was fair and transparent, and they were easy to work with when customizing packages.Beyond the process, the day itself was perfect! I had guests say their steak was one of the best they've had- not just at a wedding but overall! The passed food during cocktail hour was delicious and the staff was great. Not one detail was missed. Somehow Lynn or the manager was always near by when I had a question and they were awesome at keeping things on time. They even brought cocktails to us from the bar so we wouldn't have to get up during dinner. The venue was so elegant yet the two outdoor spaces allowed us to have corn hole and giant jenga during the cocktail hour and cigars during the band break. We had a fantastic plated dinner and Saz's casual late night food later. They really had it all! The views of the sunset on river are so stunning and the long room meant tables were only two rows deep in front of our head table, so even though it was a large wedding, it felt personal.You could really tell they took pride in their work and truly wanted your day to be perfect - and ours was. I would give them 100 stars and recommend them again and again.

The space is large and accommodating and the loft space is a nice get away if needed. The food was amazing as well and we got many compliments! Forever grateful for this team!

Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.

She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!

They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.

She was so quick to answer emails, and she was so helpful when we were picking out linens and honestly the details for the table! I really loved getting our linens through Saz’s - they were so beautiful and just added to the space even more! The staff was incredible at our wedding, and some of our guests even commented on that as well! I really loved when we sat down for dinner and had an appetizer plate waiting for us! The food was amazing - it was identical to our tasting, if not better ! It was 110% worth the investment!

They offer buffet, family style and plated dinner options and we selected the plated dinner. The entire staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. We appreciate their experience because they set up and prepared everything flawlessly and on schedule without asking a single question. They managed small details perfectly and even saved a nice appetizer plate for my wife and me to share once we were finally able to sit down! The food was delicious and received compliments from even our pickiest guests. They perfectly accommodated all food allergies and special requests. We recommend Saz’s for catering for any event and they definitely lived up to all their awards such as “Best of the Knot.”

Martin Roberts: Stopped at the 'Smoke Shack' for some BBQ meat when exploring the Third Ward. I was seated and handed the menu only to be told the Beef Brisket was still in the smoker as they'd had a busy weekend. I was a tad disappointed, as this is what I was hoping to eat, but the Pulled Pork Shoulder I had instead was delicious. The ambience inside the 'Shack' was good authentic American and service was good too. I'll have to return one day for that illusive Brisket.
