Dannette Calvin: Food: The food is great! I love the variety and the quality of the food. The fish was very good but too salty for people with dietary restrictions.Service: The women’s bathroom was modern and nicely designed. However, it was not up to par and there was no one available to address the condition of it.Atmosphere: Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Some of the parents have to make sure to stay with their kids and not let them do too much handling of the food.

Everything was full except the melted cheese for the nachos or cauliflower and broccoli. The service staff were quick to remove used plates and bring you drinks. We spent $36 for two people with sodas.Parking: Normally parking is difficult when it's busy but we had no problem getting a disabled spot right at the door.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for kids of all ages and the picky eaters.Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking is up by the entrance. Double glass doors to open to get in. For some reason, there is a suction type thing going on with the doors, so it's very difficult to open. There are no push button entry so if you are in a chair and by yourself, you may not be able to get the door open. It was even difficult for me to get the door open.

Ana Voorhees: Went here twice during crab legs. The ordinary buffet was just the normal buffet options but the crab legs were so good! I now live in Pennsylvania and I miss this buffet. To hear it hasn't been open since 2020 is sad to hear! I was hoping my husband and I would go when we visit family in Wisconsin. Hopefully you decide to reopen!

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere,and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

I am highly impressed with one of my go-tos on the Eastside. I hope that you stay open forever.Places like this are what makes Milwaukee great.I guess I should not be too surprised. Mercedes Kirk: Last minute, I had to shift an 8 person birthday dinner to this restaurant rather than the venue we planned. I fully expected to need a reservation with a party that large, but they were incredibly accommodating, even when 2 members were 20 minutes late. We ordered 5 appetizers and all were hits at our table. The staff was so quick to refill drinks and check on us, as well as take plates. Our food was delicious, everyone enjoyed and had more than enough.I can't stress enough how attentive the servers are. Plus, the staff overheard that we were there to celebrate a birthday, and when we ordered dessert they surprised us with a candle and song, and all wished us a great night. It meant so much to me! I'm so glad we were able to go.

Right ? for me it's rarely all you can eat AND rarely any good AND costs too much. At Old Country they have great fish, fried chicken and so much more in great variety and abundance ! They never run out of stuff, constantly restocking the various foods and desserts and soups !! Are ya hungry now or what ? Just go ! You'll never regret it. Ever. Nice.

Although currently no one is answering the phone to answer my question of how does this work for the all you can eat buffet on a takeout basis🤣🤔 ahem sincerest apologies. I'm still giving 5 stars I love this place for the nostalgia and the memories of full bellies for all my siblings and I and ma and whoever else was there with us. Awesomest way to feed us masses who go there hungry needing nourishment to keep up our strength so we can be vitalized and rejuvenated enough to take on a new day of getting stuff done like has been done here in America for darn near half a millennia. Martin Roberts: Stopped at the 'Smoke Shack' for some BBQ meat when exploring the Third Ward. I was seated and handed the menu only to be told the Beef Brisket was still in the smoker as they'd had a busy weekend. I was a tad disappointed, as this is what I was hoping to eat, but the Pulled Pork Shoulder I had instead was delicious. The ambience inside the 'Shack' was good authentic American and service was good too. I'll have to return one day for that illusive Brisket.

Philip Gissen: We bought a 16 pound brisket at Bunzel’s to cook and serve at our Passover seder. After braising in our special gravy for 48 hours, twelve of us sat down and dined on the most tender brisket I ever tasted. Despite the new trendy, social media driven butchers in town, Bunzel’s is still the best.I should say, the 12 of us weren’t braised. I was referring to the brisket.

The deli food is top notch and the Friday fish fry is reasonably priced with generous portions. For those who don't like to cook or need food for parties, get togethers or the holidays they have an extensive catering menu! Complete Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners can be preordered and accommodate both small and large gatherings. It's worthwhile to sign up for the weekly email specials that are offered every Wednesday and Thursday! They have over 35 different sausages made by their staff to choose from, including the State Champion Honey Mustard brat! It's easy to see why Bunzel's consistently is awarded honors for superior products and service! My number one place to go for top notch meat and customer service!
James Dean: Absolutely excellent fresh meat market. They have a wide variety of frozen products that generally aren’t available other places. They also have sausages, a very small selection of vegetables if you’ve forgotten something from the grocery store, a few isles of regular food-stuff, and a prepared food counter. They will bend over backwards to make you happy. That being said, their prices are very high; you are paying for a premium food experience.

Oriel61: The sour cream and chive fries are scrumptious. Cheese curds are perfectly crisp. The mozzarella wontons are good I suppose, if you like that sort of thing. I myself prefer breaded mozzarella sticks. The loaded fries are good, but there was something sweet under them that I did not like. Their special sauce is sweet and tangy, not a fan of it.

We have stopped by this bar with some friends that live close.The food was good the one time we actually ate there.And we all like to get the Underdog digestif. There is another one sold at the bar, a bit cheaper, and if you buy 4 you get the 5th one free.The bar is loud, but that is expected. It's super fun if a band is playing as well. Such a fun bar. Amanda Ramirez: My daughter had just got out of the hospital and she was finally able to eat and all she wanted was rodizios. So my daughter, my boyfriend and I went and it was great. The food is excellent the service is excellent and I recommend this place to anyone. I have already recommended it to a few ofy family members that have went and they did not disappoint. Amanda A: to split with a side spaetzle. Honestly the spaetzle may be the best I've ever had it was delicious. Our server also recommended the carrot cake and we were so glad that we listened because it was so divine. Service was amazing - got in shortly before 6pm with minimal wait and our server was very attentive.
Jose Tolentino: did a GREAT job advising us on our entire order; he was VERY knowledgeable, personable, wonderfully good-humored and very efficient/professional! Loved the cozy Old World ambience of Kegel's: brought back fond memories of my trip to Germany back in the 80s to Munich, Frankfort, and Rothenberg! It really was like dining in a true German Inn!! I would definitely come back to Kegel's!!!

You'll find all the favorites here of pork shank, rouladen, sauerbraten, spaetzl to name a few. Half sized portions are offered for 3 of the favorites for smaller appetites. Friendly servers and delicious food. Lovely hand painted murals decorate the walls and classical music is played during dinner
Stephanie Kuenzli: Eh. Overpriced food with slow wait service. Wasn't very impressed. The sun streaming into the dining room made it uncomfortably warm as well. My kitty bitty $5 salad was laughable.The perks were the outdoor live music in the Biergarten and the bartender. After we were done with our dinner, the outdoor area was very refreshing, the music was awesome and the tender behind the bar was very prompt and friendly.Doubt I'll go back for dinner, but I'll definitely come back for the Biergarten.
