Kraig: Downtown books is the closest thing to Hogwarts in Milwaukee. It feels magical. Books as high as the ceiling; in stacks and bundles and piles, tucked away in every inch and corner of the building. Books bridges sprawling between aisles and every genre you could possibly need. Great options for children’s book and they even have a record collection. This place is with checking out if you are passing through or you’re a local.

Cullan Smith: This is the best comic dealer in the Milwaukee area. They have a wide selection, back issues and trades, kids' picks, and newest titles. If you can't get it on your first visit, they will locate issues from their other locations and archives. You can browse or buy in bulk and they set aside monthly picks for collectors.

MistahZ: Went to the Turning Page and BOY, did I find a hidden treasure trove there! The comic book store itself is pretty great overall! Big and easy to move around, clean, and decorated with comic stuff, it's a nice place just to hang overall! The people manning the front are pretty cool folks amd good to talk to if you git the time! The selection of comics and related things is pretty fricken big and varied in all avenues! Visit The Turning Page, it's a great local comic book store and best shopping spot I went to in Milwaukee!Videos and pictures are of the outside and inside of the store and AWESOME stuff i got!
Vincent: This shop is the best one in Milwaukee. The staff is fantastic and nice. The prices are reasonable, and the selection is great. There are new collections nearly every week and by far the best collection of silver and golden age books. You are free to browse with no pressure unlike some other shops. Tesla Lockwood: Waiting for a table at Honeypie's new location, we were recommended a stroll through the neighborhood until our text arrived that a table was available.We were drawn in by the inviting open door, and we're surprised when we entered.They have such a massive selection; when we walked in we had no idea what we were getting into!I tucked in right away to the first corner, filled with graphic novels. We barely made it to the rest of the store when our table was ready. Looking forward to finding more time to make our way back there and through their vast selection.Prices are higher than one might anticipate, but the selection is varied and wide, and the quality is high. Shannon O'Hara: Fantastic selection of zines, graphic novels, and local artwork. Their novel selection, while not extensive, is curated well with unique and interesting finds. Their small space packs punch with a cozy seating area, and you can grab a drink too! Come for the one of a kind selection and stay for stickers!

Nick Stricharchuk: Wonderful bookstore. I also have to note that this is the most reliable shop I’m aware of in Milwaukee for quality greeting cards. As a man, it’s incredibly difficult to find stationery that is gender-neutral, let alone content that isn’t just generally corny. Highly recommend.

Drew: To be upfront, I'm not from Milwaukee, but I'm up here often. Boswell's is the best local book place I've been to which is why I keep heading back. The staff recommendations are nice, diverse, and cover all categories. Comfy chairs scattered throughout the store and a good selection of book adjacent items like notebooks, calendars, puzzles, and other items. Seems to me like they have sections throughout the store for whatever your reading preference is and regardless of age.

ELVIRA ROCKWELL: Today I got a knock out, literally. Paying less then 17$ I got gloves that retail for 40 to 50. an entire outfit with banging platform heels that retail for 50$ or more. Plus I get the pleasure of being above 5 ft. For the first time in 5 years. Lol. Feeling foxy. The store is small but well organized and the staff friendly. Depending on the color of the day u get even more of a discount. So instead of letting covid win and click away in your lonesome home, step out and explore find something to adore.

I feel that buying seller- customers. books, video or magazine, depending on conditions, the sellers do not get a fair price, especially when the store hikes the prices of sellers' books & other mefia items. Not just at used book stores also happen at other stores who buy sellers clothing item give you nothing especially when you bring it in cleaned, organize and new like they give u little to nothing. There at such business hike prices, like for $50, pair shoes that looked more worn . Yeah, how do these businesses sleep at night!!All in all, it is a nice store ,half price books . I purchased vinyl cases ..

tracey carson: Best book store I have ever been in at any airport. Great variety of books on Wisconsin. I recently traveled out of MKE instead of Madison which is closer to me so I could go to the bookstore at MKE. Love the customer service.
Stephanie Chin: Best little bookstore in the world. In the main terminal of the airport, so accessible to anyone. Is used books. They’re very inexpensive. Quickly get a paper back for your flight in any subject you can possibly imagine.

Vel Natarajan: Owner helped me choose my first Kurt Vonnegut book. He was extremely knowledgeable about each book, giving me a critic level synopsis of Cats Cradle and Slaughterhouse Five.

Kito Dennykopec: An original among airport bookstores with its eclectic mix of used and new, Wisconsin works and history. Often that's where I see hard-to-find books, or something that's the perfect gift. I pass through MKE a few times every year, and like to budget time to browse at Renaissance.
Will Cappon: Shockingly good book store in the airport. Great selection, prices, and overall vibe. Used books.
Claire Kroenke: The Native American section is the best I've ever seen.
Joe Ludwig: A nice place to kill time before traveling or waiting for someone to arrive. Books are everywhere, stacked and hanging off shelves, but it adds to the charm. The selection has some rare items, some still in shrinkwrap as well.
James Aderman: I love the vibe of this bookstore. Its cascade of books. It's disheveled shelves. The only better bookstore was its now closed older sister in downtown Milwaukee. If you love books and love hunting for a new read, Renaissance is worth a drive to the airport even if you aren't flying.
Aaron Chandler: So many treasures to be found here! Found this when we got stuck on a delayed connection in 2012. I make it a point to go to the MKE airport anytime I'm driving thru Milwaukee just to visit this shop. And who ever wants to go to an airport when they do not HAVE to? 😁
