I told them what I had and what I wanted. They have a variety of all kinds of machines there. Judy showed me around and took the time to make sure I was happy with the machine I picked. She gives lessons she is so knowledgeable and talented at sewing and embroidering. The store has lots of sewing needs. From rolling carts to put your machine in and embroidery designs to buy. Definitely go there. You will be so pleased.

I googled and happened to find Log Cabin. WHAT. A. PLEASANT. SURPRISE!!!! The owner, Danica, was so extremely helpful, even directing me to a different store since she didn't carry what she felt would work best either for my quilt. So refreshing to have a business have this kind of customer service!! But the biggest smile I had is that this shop still exists!! A place where quilters can go, work on their projects together, help eachother, and of course get the professional help right there from the owner herself. Oh my... this is a gem I pray stays around a long long time!Thank you for being there and all the help and direction you gave for my quilt project!! You really helped me a lot!!

In my opinion their main business seems to be selling sewing machines, and just a few brands, so they won’t have everything you could imagine a “sewing center” might have, but what they do have is pretty good quality.

Today, 5/6/24 I finally plugged the machine in to see if it even turned on and to my surprise it seems like it would work fine. I did chuckle a bit as there's a foot pedal to make it work. However, for what I'm thinking of using it for I believe it has more than I need as to options. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my massage therapist and will take the machine with so I can stop in and discuss the value of keeping it. Hopefully a sewing class will start soon and an opening will be available. I look forward to working with the two ladies I met.

It is a plain dress, no lace or sequence to hide behind, so she had to make sure the construction of the silhouette was perfect. She reconstructed the top of the dress for me; cut the boning, recut the neckline and shortened the straps, altered the mesh modesty panels and adjusted the padding in the front of the dress. She hemmed the 3-layers in the skirt and train and created an elegant bustle for the reception.I felt comfortable working with her during the fittings and knew I left my dress in good hands. After alternations, it fit perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for your wedding dress alterations.

Diane Wyck: . The suit was about 15 years old. It needed the pants shortened, and overall, it was a bit too big on him. The seamstress suggested taking in the suit coat, and the pants for a more modern look as well as hemming the pants. It was done way faster than originally quoted. The suit looked great on my son, especially with the updated look! I was very pleased with their expertise and courteous manner! I highly recommend their services!
Sandra Tisdale: I need address for my granddaughter and I found that it needed a zipper put in so that she could wear it longer. So I took it to seem so perfect and I just picked it up and the proprietor did an excellent job I am very happy with the work that she did. I can do zippers but when it comes to adding something that's already made I am not knowledgeable in this area. I am very happy with the work she did on the dress. I would definitely take and go to her for any alterations that I would have to be done in the future period. I did pay a lot for the zipper to be put in however it was well worth my money and I would go there for other items as well. She does phenomenal work!

Lydia Albrecht: I recently bought a snowsuit that was unfortunately too long in the torso. After calling multiple places and being turned away, I found this shop and I'm so thankful I did! I received it back today and it fits like a glove! The lining looks very good and the outer seams are excellent! It actually took me a while to even find the seam as it blended in so well with the original design. I feel like the amount I paid was well earned for the quality of the work.

Maricela Chavez: Wow, this woman did some major alterations to three of my leather garments.The leather vest she brought in the shoulders cuz they were way extended out and she tightened up the collar as you can see in the photos.The plain leather jacket she chopped off the fly collars and made it colorless as you can see she also extended the sides to fit me perfectly for zipping up.She also is at the moment extending a zip-up old classic leather jacket for me. Last she made these patches and sewed them on within 5 minutes her prices are excellent and worth every penny I am one satisfied customer and will be back again and again. Philip Gissen: I’m short, and all my clothes need alterations. Kevin, the proprietor of Dad’s, is a tailor not a sewing machine operator. He shortened several pairs of my jeans. They were tailored in a couple of days and the hem was perfect, sewn as if they were purchased in my exact size and inseam. Prices were fair considering the quality of the work.

poison is trash: Needed patches sown on my son's letterman jacket also a meddle. I was in a real pickle i needed that day so i called dad's shop. I made an appointment and my jacket was done within an hour. Service was great and price was fiar. I would recommend you use dad's as your go to Taylor. She told me she would have the pants done in a few hours but the jacket would be done Tuesday. I got back only having been gone about an hour and a half and when I got there everything including the jacket was there waiting for me!!! Highly recommend going here!!!
Rebecca Larson: They did a great job tailoring a suit for my wife. Very professional and friendly staff. They steamed and ironed it once more before sending it out the door with me. Prices were a little hefty in my opinion but I also have limited experience with the going rates. I would return but ask about pricing up front to avoid surprises.

Kenneth Romo: Great service from knowledgeable and experienced tailors. I’ve gotten my pants tailored here multiple times and every time they do a great job. If my pants don’t come out to my liking they always try their best to accommodate me and adjust them either on the spot or they’ll have them ready within a few days. I always recommend Salous whenever I get asked about a tailor.
